Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the matchless name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. On this October 16th, I am extremely happy to meet you all through the Auspicious word. May the Lord bless you.
Let us meditate on today’s Mangala Vaarthai. Psalm 112:3 says, “Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.”
“Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.” In whose house will wealth and riches remain? In the house of a righteous person. Wealth and riches shall abide there, and their righteousness shall endure forever.
Many of you say, “Whenever wealth comes into my house, it never stays. No matter how much money comes in, it does not remain. Somehow, money comes in and income is earned, but nothing stays. We do not even know where it all goes. It is like putting gold coins into a bag full of holes!” Many of you lament in this way. Today, through this Auspicious word, the Lord declares that from now on, wealth and riches shall remain and abide in your homes.
The Bible says that blessings shall rest upon the heads of the righteous. As a servant of the Lord, I bless all the children. May the blessings of the Lord rest upon your heads and abide with you.
I, too, experienced such struggles in the past. During the seasons when I was struggling in business, a lot of money would come in. Yet, no matter how much came in, I never knew where it went. That was how things remained for a certain period.
Later, when I started a business called Stephen Cars, I began drawing closer to the Lord. Before that, I had been running travel services, a Xerox shop, an STD booth, and taxi services. Everything was going on, but I did not see blessings abiding in my life. It was only after I drew closer to the Lord that I began to experience His abiding blessings. The Lord blessed my business so abundantly that there was even a surplus to take home.
I am speaking from my own experience. Those of you who have drifted away from the Lord, draw near to Him! Live with the Lord, hold His hand, and walk in His righteous ways. You will see blessings and wealth abiding in your homes. Through you, many people will be blessed and benefit. There should always be provision in your home. Your resources should not be completely exhausted; instead, your home should continually overflow with the blessings of the Lord.
Last year, while conducting the Business People Meeting, the Lord spoke to my heart. He said, “Buy a good leather purse for everyone who is doing business. Place a ₹50 or ₹100 note inside, pray over it, and give it to them.” I do not remember exactly whether the Lord had specified ₹50 or ₹100. Gladly, I ordered good-quality, costly leather purses, placed a ₹100 note inside each one, and gave them to the people who attended the business meeting in 2025. I blessed them and sent them forth.
Whenever many of them return, they say, “Brother, ever since you placed that money in the purse and gave it to us, our purse has never been empty.”
Why? Because I prayed for them! I prayed, “Lord, let wealth and riches always abide in the homes of Your children.” I placed the money inside the purses with prayer and gave them away.
Some people said, “He has plenty of money, so he is giving it away.” But that was not the case. I did not give those purses out of my abundance. The Lord had spoken to my heart because He knew that money was not staying in the homes of His children.
Whatever I do for the Lord, I do it wholeheartedly and generously. So, I placed a good order for fine leather purses, prayed over them, placed the money inside, and gave them to the people. In fact, I gave those gifts out of our own lack that day. That is the truth, and my Lord knows it. Only the Lord knows the condition of our cash box when I placed that money in everyone’s purse, yet I still gave.
Today, the Lord is leading our ministry wonderfully and miraculously. I will never say that our ministry has nothing. I have never said that we lack everything. Whatever is needed for each day comes to us graciously from the Lord.
It is the same with my family. Have I ever complained or lamented anywhere that I have nothing? No! I will always say that the Lord keeps me well. You, too, should say, “The Lord keeps me well.” He truly sustains you. The very fact that He keeps you alive is a great act of grace!
Therefore, the Lord teaches us that if wealth and riches are to remain in our homes, we must hold firmly to Him, walk with Him, and follow the path of righteousness. Then the Lord will do great things in our lives.
Testimony
Sister Ruth from Chengalpattu shares her testimony: “I suffered from an enlarged uterus and severe bleeding. After examining me, the doctors said that my uterus was severely affected and that I needed to undergo surgery immediately. The medical expenses would be ₹2 lakhs. I was terrified and anxious about what would happen because I did not have the money to pay for the treatment.
Amid such pain, agony, sorrow, and tears, I attended the Shaemam Fasting Prayer meeting. At the end of the meeting, I received prayer from Sister Dr. Bavya Deril Stephen. She encouraged me in faith, saying, ‘Jesus will not leave you. The surgery will be completed successfully, the Lord will grant you complete healing, and you will return to testify.’
Furthermore, during the prayer time, the Lord gave this word through Sister Dr. Bavya Deril Stephen: ‘By His stripes we are healed.’
Holding on to this word, I went to the hospital. Just as she had said, the surgery was completed smoothly, and I recovered quickly. I am sharing this testimony so that the name of God may be glorified.” May the Lord do the same in your life as well!
Prayer
Loving Lord, we thank You. There are children who are weeping and saying, “Wealth has not remained in our homes. Riches have not stayed with us. We do not have a salary, sufficient income, or a return that matches the hard work we put into our businesses.” Lord, look upon these children who are crying out to You.
Help them draw closer to You and follow Your path of righteousness. As they do so, I bless them and pray that, from this day onward, Your blessings, riches, and wealth will abide in each of their homes. Let my children no longer be burdened by borrowing. Transform them into people who can give generously and be a blessing to others. Work wonders in their lives, Lord. We offer You countless praises and thanksgiving.
Look with favour upon all those celebrating their birthdays and wedding anniversaries today. May the Auspicious word, “Fear not, be glad and rejoice: for the Lord will do great things,” be fulfilled in their lives from this very moment. In Jesus’ name, Heavenly Father, we pray. Amen.
