October 15, 2026
Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the matchless name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. On this October 15th, I am very happy to meet you through this Auspicious word. May the Lord bless you.
Now, what is the Auspicious word the Lord has kept for us today? Let us read Proverbs 22:9: “He who has a generous eye will be blessed.”
If we look at people’s eyes, we can see that everyone’s eyes are different. Some have small eyes, while others have large eyes. Some have beautiful black eyes, and others have beautiful brown eyes. Each person’s eyes are unique. Some people say, “Their eyes are so beautiful.” Others admire a person’s nose or other facial features. But I have seen many people specifically admire someone’s eyes, saying, “Did you see how beautiful their eyes are?”
When you look into some people’s eyes, you can see compassion—a tender gaze. In other people’s eyes, you may see irritation. But the Bible speaks about people who have eyes of compassion. It says, “He who has a generous eye will be blessed.”
The point is not merely whether compassion can be seen in your physical eyes. Rather, if your heart is filled with mercy, if you have a tender and helping heart, and if you consider another person’s suffering as your own, then you truly have eyes of compassion.
“He who has a generous eye will be blessed” means that a person with a compassionate heart will be blessed. A person who possesses eyes and a heart of compassion will experience God’s blessings.
Why does the Bible say, “He who has a generous eye”? It is because when such a person sees someone suffering, their heart immediately melts with compassion. While praying for some people, I have received revelations from the Lord concerning their compassionate hearts. The Lord has shown me people who give away whatever they have, even when they have nothing left for the next day, because they cannot bear to see others suffer. I have witnessed such revelations during prayer. All these people can be described as having generous eyes and merciful hearts.
Today, how is your heart? When you see someone suffering, do you simply walk past them?
In the Bible, when we read about the Good Samaritan, we see that several people came across a man who had been beaten, wounded, and left suffering. They saw him, yet they continued on their way. Even those who were involved in ministry passed by without helping him.
But a Samaritan came, saw the wounded man, and stopped. His eyes were eyes of compassion.
The man received no help or compassion from the priest who passed by. The priest continued with his own business. Others who saw the wounded man also went on their way. But one man, whom the Bible calls the Good Samaritan, had a generous eye.
The moment he saw the wounded man, he could not simply leave him there, even though he had other matters to attend to. He lifted him up, placed him on his own donkey, took him to an inn, and paid for his care. He even promised, “Whatever more you spend, I will repay you when I return.” That is what it means to have a generous eye.
God blesses people who show such compassion. Providing food to the hungry, giving clothes to those who have none, and helping people in need are all expressions of a compassionate heart.
People often say that feeding the hungry is one of the greatest acts of charity. Food sustains life, and a person must remain alive to benefit from other forms of help. That is why feeding the hungry is considered such an important act of kindness.
What brings me great joy is seeing the thousands of people who attend the Anbarin Paathathil meetings every month. On their children’s birthdays, wedding anniversaries, or when the Lord enables them to buy or sell property or secure a good job, many of them come forward to provide food for others. I have seen the Lord abundantly bless their families and generations as well.
My dear children of God, be among the first to provide food to the hungry. Be among the first to provide clothing to those in need. Likewise, be willing to support the education of children who need help. When you do these good deeds, blessings will come upon your household.
The Bible says, “The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.” The good deeds you do will become a blessing to your children.
Testimony
Sister Anishia Yesuraj Latha
“My mother and I met Brother Stephen at the Nagercoil Prayer Tower of God’s Love Ministries. We placed my new passport in his hands and received prayer. Brother Stephen shared a Mangala Vaarthai and blessed me.
Afterwards, by the grace of God, I went to the UAE, an Arab country. Since I did not have a permanent job there, I worked part-time. I sent an email to Brother Stephen requesting prayer for a permanent job and for my marriage to take place.
Brother Stephen prayed for me and sent me the Scripture verses Jeremiah 29:11 and Psalm 20:4. Holding on to those promises, I continued to pray.
By God’s grace, I received a permanent job with a high salary at a leading company. Furthermore, arrangements have been made for my marriage to take place in January 2027. Within three months, all the preparations for my marriage have begun.”
Pay close attention to this: this miracle did not happen because of Stephen. As I always say, Stephen cannot perform miracles. But the Word of God spoken through the Mangala Vaarthai goes forth, accomplishes the purpose for which it was sent, and fulfils God’s plan.
For the Lord to send His Word, He uses a tongue and a person. He has chosen to use me for this purpose, and I am very glad about that.
Therefore, whenever miracles happen, you may thank me, but all praise, honour, and glory belong to God alone. It is the Word of the Lord that accomplishes these things in your lives. Neither Stephen nor any other minister can perform miracles independently. The Word of the Lord works miracles, and the Lord fulfils His purposes through His servants. They speak His Word, and it goes forth to accomplish His will. Now, let us all close our eyes and pray.
Prayer
Loving Lord, we thank You. People from various professions—including doctors, nurses, teachers, masons, civil engineers, computer professionals, and many others—are waiting with their qualifications and credentials, trusting You for opportunities.
Lord, today, we commit these passports not into my hands but into Your hands. Take them, bless these children, and perform miracles in their lives.
As You bless them, may their eyes become generous eyes. May they provide food to many people, give clothing to those in need, and support the education of children. I wholeheartedly bless them, praying that they will not only be a blessing to their own families but also to multitudes of people.
Look with favour upon those celebrating their birthdays and wedding anniversaries today. May the Auspicious word, “Bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever,” be fulfilled in their lives. In Jesus’ name, Heavenly Father, Amen.
