Fear The Lord

My Dear Brother and Sister, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed word that  God   has  given  for  you  today  is  from the book  of    Psalms 103:13 “ Like as a father pities his children, so the Lord pities those who fear Him.”

My Dear  Brother and Sister,  we see  from the above  passage that God blesses those who fear Him.   To those who truly reverence His holy name, the Lord acts  as a Father to His children. And to these he pities, for in the very best of men the Lord sees much to pity, and even when they are at their best state they still need His compassion. Fathers feel for their children, especially when they are in pain, they would like to suffer in their stead, their sighs and groans cut them to the quick: thus sensitive towards us is our heavenly Father. We worship the living God, who is merciful and  compassionate.

My Dear Brother and Sister,  It is very natural for a father to show pity for his child. Likewise, it is natural for God to show pity to those children who fear Him. When you fear God any good thing can happen to you. You will secure a job or a promotion. Or you might receive the gift of a child. Or your children might get settled in life. They will get a Visa to go abroad. All your court cases will come to an end, amicably. Many of you who are reading this message is expecting a miracle to happen in your life, and for this you need the mercy of God. Once the mercy of God comes upon a person, it means all his problems have come to an end.

My Dear Brother and  Sister, to whom does God show mercy? But to those who fear Him and tremble at His word. God will take pity on those who fear and walk according to his conscience. If you need God to perform a miracle in your life,  you need the mercy of God. And to get His mercy all you need to do is to fear God. You need to implement to fear God and obey His commandments. Then God will show pity on you, your children your family, because He is a God of mercy from everlasting to everlasting, even upon your children’s children.  Mercy or grace is something shown by God to someone who doesn’t deserve it. A disqualified person, becomes qualified when God shows His mercy and compassion on you. If you think you can achieve anything by your own qualification you can never achieve it. But if you have the mercy of God, then surely you can attain what you desire in your life.

My Dear Brother and Sister, Last year a young girl came up to me for prayer. She said, “Sir I need to pass the NEET Exam and somehow I should get a medical seat. I should become a doctor. It’s my ambition. Kindly pray for me.  ” So the Lord said to  her “You have received the mercy of God.”So surely you will secure border marks and pass the exam. Having blessed her I sent her away. Later she wrote her exams and made her own calculation and found that she had not secured the eligible score. After several  weeks I happened to meet, her in her own town when I had been for a festival meeting. She met me and said, ”Sir I don’t think I will get the seat for I have not scored the required marks to pass the exam.”  But I reassured her saying,  that what God has said, will come to pass, because He never tells lies.  He is a God who speaks by His mouth and performs by his hands.  May be you think, you are disqualified,  but God through His mercy will help you to score the needed marks and secure the seat in the Medical College. I blessed that daughter and returned home.

My Dear Brother and Sister, after few weeks she got the results.    Just as the Lord had spoken she had secured border marks and was eligible for medical seat.  Our God keeps His word, for He is not a liar. That girl and her parents were filled with joy and her trust in the Lord increased. This is  how the mercy of God works in every individual, who fears the Lord. What God has done for her will He not do for you?   May the Lord help you to fear the Lord at all times and receive His blessings.  God bless you.

Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You  for this blessed day. Thank you for teaching us through this message that we need to fear the Lord. Help us to fear God and receive His mercy. We thank you Lord for extending Your mercy even  to our children’s children. Teach us to hope in Your Mercy.

In Jesus name we pray,

Amen.

BLESSED FAMILY

I greet you in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you , today is from the book of Mark 10:9, “Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate.”
The Lord has predestined certain things. God has his own way of doing things. It will not be to harm you, but to give you a future and a hope. We often say that marriages are made in Heaven. A man and a woman are united in marriage by holy matrimony.
We read in the Bible that God rejected the sacrifices of the Israelite men because they sent their wives away. They were faithless to the women with whom they had made a covenant. God does not like families to be separated. God actually hates divorce, which literally means that God hates, when men are faithless to their wives and send them away.
There are many reading this message from their father’s house or they are left alone. God does not want you to live alone, that is why He instituted the marriage in the Garden of Eden. But now a days we see that divorce is in the increase as there is no proper understanding between the couple. The wife sometimes wants to suppress her husband because he may not earn a better salary. She would be earning more than him. As a result she might boast of her earnings. And in many families the women rule or dominate their husbands. They mistreat their husbands. They fail to respect their husbands. This irritates the husbands and their marriage life becomes shabby. They separate. The children are left to suffer because of their wrong behaviour. Women have to be cautious. They should love their husbands as themselves and husbands too should love their wives as Christ loved the church.
Wife plays an important role in every family. If she is kept happy the family is blessed. If not then, there is problem. Wives also need to be humble to their husbands in every way. They should honour their husbands as the head of their family. Only such couples thrive as successful families. The Bible says, the husband should fulfil his marital duty to his wife and likewise the wife to her husband. A wife of noble character is her husband’s crown. Wives are to be women worthy of respect. The wise woman builds her house. She sacrifices her life for the interest or well being of her husband and her children. Both the husband and wife should realize that a cord of three strands is not quickly broken. And the husband should realize that a prudent wife is from the Lord. Therefore Jesus says, “Love one another as I have loved you.”May those reading this message realize the importance of a family life and try to set right your lives.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord thank you for telling us how we ought to be in order to maintain a successful family life. Help us to love our spouse as Christ loved the church. Help us never to separate from each other because separation causes pain. May we endure the struggles that spring up now and then, for the wellbeing of our family. Teach us to tolerate each our and maintain harmony and peace within the family.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.

MAKE YOUR CHOICE

I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed word that   God   has  given  for  you  today  is  from the book of  Acts 10:38  says, that “ God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with Him.

Dearly Beloved, 2000 years ago, once when Jesus was going through the shores of Galilee, during the time of His ministry, people brought to Him a man who was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech and they begged Jesus to put His hand on him. The people requested Jesus just to touch him. They believed that   Jesus could heal him. They brought him to Jesus just to touch him, but Jesus on seeing the man had compassion on him and so He looked up to heaven and sighed,  and said unto him, Ephphatha,  that is, “Be opened”. And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosened, and he spoke plain. He shouted just one word, “ Ephphatha. ”  Which means let it be opened.  The Bible says, the very next minute his ears opened and the impediment of his tongue was loosened and he spoke plainly. He came to Jesus as a dumb and deaf person but after he met Jesus he returned as a healed person.

Today God is going to change you. Many of you who are reading this message are surprised to know what Jesus did for that dumb man.  What the dumb man experienced   on meeting Jesus was beyond imagination,   inexpressible.  His joy knew no bounds. It was more than what one can think, pray or expect. God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. God desires to bless you in the same manner. Are you willing to meet this Jesus like the person, who was deaf and dumb.

Make your choice. But do not delay. Come to Jesus and be healed of your disease, your captivity, your bondage and from your debts. He will relieve you. You may be caught up in some kind of bad habits, and you are unable to come out of it   by your own effort. Give your problem to Jesus.  He will solve it for you. God Bless You.

Prayer:  Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day.   Lord thank you for revealing to us how the Lord Jesus was anointed by the Holy Spirit and it was because of this Spirit of God, Jesus went about doing good.   Anoint us also Lord with the Holy Ghost.  Help us to do greater things for you. We surrender to You like the man with impediment, heal us Lord of all our wrong doings and purify us. Make us pleasing unto God and also teach us to do the will of God.

 In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

Appointed Time

I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed word that God   has given for you today is from the book of Job 14:13,      “Oh that you would hide me in the grave, that you would conceal me, until your wrath is past. That you would appoint me a set time, and remember me.”

From the above context we learn about a man called Job. He was a good man. He trusted God. But Job had terrible troubles. The devil with the permission of God   caused a lot of trouble to Job. On a particular day Job lost all his wealth, his cattle, his servants, and his ten children while they were eating and drinking in their elder brother’s house. Hearing this Job tore his clothes and shaved his head and fell to the ground and worshipped God. He said the “Lord gave and the Lord has taken away.”  God permitted Job to suffer, to test his faith.  Job’s friends instead of comforting him during his time of trial gave wrong advice to him.  They did not think that God would allow an innocent person to suffer. So they thought that Job was guilty. They thought that Job had committed some grave sin. But Job explained that he was innocent. Job thought that God should help him. The Bible says, “In all this Job did not sin with his lips.” Even his wife hurt his feelings. She couldn’t bear to see him sit on ash heap scratching his skin filled with boils. His wife told him to curse God and die. But he said to her, “Shall we accept good from God and shall we not accept adversity.” Job was sure that after being afflicted, God will restore him good days in life.

Job was going through severe affliction, He was filled with shame and dishonour, He was rebuked and despised by those who once respected him. He was in his worst situation, so he thinks it would be better for him to hide somewhere from all these people who critized and mocked his integrity. He was a righteous man, upright and blameless and one who feared God and shunned evil. There is an expectation that he would live again at some future period, and a desire to live after he has passed the period of affliction. He was confident that God wouldn’t forsake him even though he lost everything in life. And he thought grave could hide him until the wrath of God is past   from him.

Job requests God to appoint him a set time – When he should be delivered or rescued   from the trials and afflictions he was going through.  He says, “Appoint me a set time” or an appointed time when God would remember or revisit him. It is the expression of his lingering love of life. He was struck down by heavy trials, and desired a release. He longed   to be hid even in the grave; and he is willing to be hid for any period of time until the wrath of God should pass by, if he might live again.  This is the longing of every person, to live after the period of trial. Job in the same way has the secret hope of some future life. God was proud of Job. Job was special to God. God knows his people.  God knows everything about us . He sees our secret actions.  He hears our quiet prayers. He is better than a friend.  He is closer than a brother. God loves his people.

Dearly Beloved, Do You believe the tale of Job and his trial, and how his latter part of life was blessed by God because, after being tested he came forth as pure gold tested in fire. Terrible things might happen to us, even in our life.  But we should be bold to face it through the strength of God. God has a wonderful reward for us in heaven.  We must not be afraid of troubles. God knows us. And he cares about us. God knew that Job would endure all the sufferings.  Our God is a merciful God.

You can simply trust God as Job did.   He will not allow us to suffer troubles that are too difficult for us. And God will help us when we go through troubles. The Bible says, “God is faithful and He will not allow, you to be tempted, beyond, what you are able. But with the temptation, will also make a way of escape,   that you may be able to bear it.” You are not alone when you suffer troubles. God will make you strong in him. So do not be afraid.  Just as the Lord restored Job’s losses, and gave Job twice as much as he had. God will bless you too. He will bless you with a double portion of blessing. God   Bless   you.

Prayer:  Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord thank You for instructing us through the story of Job that we ought to be patient when we go through trials. Not to murmur, but be humble in the presence of God. Then, He will change our sorrow into Joy and our mourning to dancing. Teach us never to sin with our lips but to trust in the Lord Almighty to the very end of our trial. In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

God’s Favour

I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed word that God   has given for you today is from the book of    Deuteronomy   33:14-16, And with the choice yield of the sun, And the choice produce of the months; And with the best things of the ancient mountains,   With the choice things of the everlasting hills,And with the choice things of the earth and its fullness, And the favour of Him who dwelt in the bush. Let it come to the head of Joseph, to the top of the head of the one who was prince among his brothers.

We see from the above passage the blessings of Moses, bestowed upon the twelve tribes of Israel, before his death. The above mentioned context was the blessing   of Joseph.   He was special because he was the son of Israel,   in his old age. Jacob had twelve sons who formed the twelve tribes of Israel. Every tribe had his share of blessing, but Joseph had more than all his brothers.  He rightly deserved the blessing of Moses   because he proved to be better than the rest of his brothers. Today the Lord is going to place this blessing upon your head as it was placed over the head of Joseph. As soon as His blessing descends upon your head, all your poverty will vanish.  All your misery will change.  You will begin to prosper.

Just as a ripe fruit naturally tastes delicious,   in the same manner many things that you desire will happen in favour of you very naturally. Just as we enjoy the light of the moon during the night time, so also will be the gifts that you receive from the hands of God pleasant and beautiful.  You will not only receive the blessings of the hills and the mountains but also receive precious things of the earth and its fullness.  Just as the favour of God descended upon Joseph and blessed him above all his brothers so will God bless you through your work or your business and reveal his favour to you among all your brethren.

The blessing on Joseph was special, and long.  Joseph was fruitful though, in fact he was so fruitful that he was always a blessing to those around him; be it his family, his owner under whom he served as a slave in Egypt, the prison where he was wrongly incarcerated, or in Egypt where he ruled as the Governor.  How was this possible?  Joseph actually suffered much, in the hands of his brothers, but he always remained steadfast. He always trusted in the Lord; so the Lord blessed him and protected him.  Though, “They shot at him but his bow remained steady.” Although the world threw all it could at Joseph, he remained in his faith and was rewarded because of it.

May be until now you have not seen success in your life, You might have experienced great failure in your studies, in your ministry, or in your business. But in future the Lord will enable you to prosper in all walks of life. The Bible says, it pleased the Lord to bless Israel. He is a God who does what He says. He blessed Jabez, when he cried unto the Lord. God enlarged his territory and preserved him from all evil. God granted him what he requested.  In the same manner God will grant you all your request. Moses blessed the children of Israel with all kinds of blessings. He called all the twelve tribes and blessed them. This particular blessing was given to the tribe of Joseph.  Moses refers to the favour of God that he experienced while he was beside the burning bush and expected that Joseph should receive such blessings from the Lord. The Bible says; Let the blessing come on the head of Joseph. Likewise the blessing of the Lord will henceforth descend upon you and your children. Your blessing is upon your people. God bless you.

Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank You for Joseph who endured patiently all the troubles and therefore he was exalted.    Similarly we pray that you will help us to bear all the troubles patiently with the faith of God.   Bless us and our children,   with the yield of the sun, and with the best things of the ancient mountains,   with the beauty of the hills,And with the things of the earth and its fullness,  Bless us  Lord as Moses blessed Joseph.

In Jesus name we pray,

Amen.
