I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has kept for you today is from the book of Deuteronomy 1:31, “ And in the wilderness where you saw how the Lord your God carried you, as a man carries his son, in all the way that you went until you came to this place.”
From the above verse we learn that Moses led the people of Israel in the wilderness. He tells the children of Israel to remember how the Lord God had, carried them in the midst of affliction, through the wilderness, like a father who carries his son on his shoulders. Until they almost reached the land of Canaan.
We speak about our heavenly father. Saying, “For God so loved the World that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in His name, he should not perish but have everlasting life.” God the Father gave His only Begotten son. This is the love of our heavenly Father. God spent five days in creating all the beautiful things in the world. He made the light and darkness. He made the animals and birds. The fish of the sea, and all flying things. And found it all good. On the sixth day God created man in his own image. Through his own hands he made man out of clay, in his own image and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life. So he became man. The first man Adam. Many would think, As to why did God make man on the sixth day if, He loved man so much. Yes, He wanted his new creation man to enjoy all that He had created , the plants and trees with all its fruits and vegetables. Man should not lack anything. So after creating all the necessary things for man He created man on the sixth day. And told him to enjoy and have authority over everything that God had created for him. This shows the love of our heavenly father. But because of his sin he lost all the glory and authority he enjoyed, that was granted to him by God the Father.
I wish to remind you all about that love of the Father on this day. That Love has been given to each one of us through our earthly father, who can be seen with our own eyes. Some of you may have lost your father few months back or may be many years back. Yet we can always remember the love of our fathers. We need to thank God for our earthly father. The mother carries her child in her womb for ten long months and then brings forth the baby. The mother’s love is beyond expression. The nurse hands over the baby to the father, who eagerly waits to see his child. Every one rejoices over the new born baby. From then on the father takes care of his child, until he is fully grown and is capable of living his life by himself. I still remember my father
carrying me on his shoulder all the way to school. I used to feel very proud, to sit over his shoulder, and go about. Even while crossing the canal flowing with water he used to cross over carrying me over his shoulder. It was a great joy to me. Usually the mother carries her child on her hip or embraces the child on her shoulder. But the father carries his child on his shoulder. A father might be strict and may even beat his child only to correct him and not because he dislikes his child.
I know of a father who was an auto driver. He worked all the day and during the night and he overworked as a security guard either in an ATM centre or in a company. He said his income was insufficient to educate his daughters as an auto driver. So he goes to work in the night. He does not have proper sleep. So the father loses his sleep and every pleasure in his life in order to bring up their children. To meet all their needs, to give them the best in life. He works so hard. Therefore you must realize that the father always remembers his child and does all his best to fulfil all the desires of his child. Therefore you need to love your fathers, respect them for what they are and also understand their feelings, and their sacrificial life they lead to give you the best they could. May this message speak the values of a father and remind the mothers’ and the children if any of you reading this message and have neglected your father for various reasons, try and mend your relationship with your fathers. It is no use of crying after you lose them but honour them and love them as much as you can, while they are available. Make him happy and keep him proud through your love and affection and your achievements. God Bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Father God, we thank You for giving us good fathers. Teach us to love them as You loved us and gave your only begotten son Jesus for us. Help us to honour them and respect them and appreciate everything they do for us. Help us to understand them better and enjoy every moment of our life with them even though they grow old and weary. Make us to be proud about them. Bless them Lord with all the earthly and heavenly Blessings.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of “Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings” (Isaiah 3:10).
It is a reasonable desire that the labour of your hands – your business, your job, your ministry should flourish. Our Lord also desires the exact same thing. But when you look at your past experiences you realise what you have gone through is the exact opposite of this. You are longing, “Will there be a change at least from this year? “Change has come. First, make the change that God expects within you. God will most certainly grant the change that you desire in your life. The Bible says:
“The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow” (Deuteronomy 28:12).
We are filled with hope and happiness when we read this verse. For the corona pandemic and lockdown have increased the staggering burden of your debt, making your life a struggle. But the Bible says:
“Make us glad according to the days in which You have afflicted us, The years in which we have seen evil” (Psalm 90:15). This is the promise that we have. Your hope and expectation will not be cut off (Proverbs 23:18). God will command innovative developments in your business, fresh progress in your jobs, new expansions in your ministry. Some of you are under severe mental stress due to the enormity of your debts. Many have been let-down by people or have become a victim of fraud, having signed surety for others. Some of you are distraught as you are yet to receive the money which people owed you. God is watching everything, and He will give you victory over all your predicaments. All your losses will be reversed.
“Surely I will no longer give your grain as food for your enemies; And the sons of the foreigner shall not drink your new wine, for which you have laboured” (Isaiah 62:8).
According to this verse, God will open ways for you to redeem and enjoy the fruit of your labour that is trapped with outsiders. The only thing that you must do is to commit yourself to integrous living. Imbibe the qualities of a righteous person. Our God will do magnificent things!
Mr Ratnam Paul from villivalkkam shared the following testimony in “Anbarin Paathathil Orunaal” fasting meeting held in July 2018. He was working in a distinguished position at a corporate company. As he desired to start a business venture, he resigned from his lucrative job. But he incurred heavy loss in his business due to which his debts increased, and he was in utter misery. As his relatives started distancing themselves from him, he started coming closer to God. He confessed all his sins and earnestly tarried in prayer for his current scenario to be changed.
One day while he was traveling on his bike, some chemicals fell on his left eye. Covering this eye with a cloth, he came to me for prayer. He panicked if he would lose his eyesight. During prayer God revealed this mangala vaarthai, “God will give perfect healing to your eyes in a month’s time. All your problems will be solved quickly. Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time”. In the same way, God restored his eyesight the next month. But his other struggles continued for another eleven months. I fervently interceded with Lord for him when he came for the “Anbarin Paathathil Orunaal” fasting meeting held in May 2019. God revealed during prayer, “I am opening new doors for you”. According to this mangala vaarthai, he secured a senior position in a corporate company with a remuneration of 1 lakh per month. His business was bought by another company for a substantial amount, which enabled him to pay back his loan. Hallelujah. This miracle can happen for you. Yes, the righteous will enjoy the fruit of their labour.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank you for encouraging us with your word. That if we wait patiently on you, You will give us back all that we have lost in life. Bless us with your divine wisdom to lead our life successfully. Bless the works of our hands.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has kept for you today is from the book of Psalms 107:35-37 ,“He turned the desert into pools of water and the parched ground into flowing springs; there he brought the hungry to live, and they founded a city.”
From the above passage we learn that, God turns the wilderness into a standing water which means that God does his work of mercy, for a deep lake is seen, where before there was only a sandy waste. It is not by natural laws, working by some innate force, that this wonder is wrought, but by God Himself. HE TURNS through His Power. And dry ground into water springs. Continuance, abundance, and perpetual freshness are all implied in water springs, and these are created where all was once dry and deserted. This wonder of mercy is the precise reversal of the work of God for His children and wrought by the self-same hand. And in each individual, the mercy of the Lord soon works wonderful changes. O that we might see this verse fulfilled in all around us, and within our own hearts as stated by the Psalmist.
God’s providence is illustriously displayed in His influence on two great elements of human prosperity, the earth’s productiveness and the powers of government. He punishes the wicked by destroying the sources of fertility, or, in mercy, gives fruitfulness to deserts, which become the homes of a busy and successful agricultural population. The people sow the fields, and plant vineyards cultivate the earth. The culture of the vine was an important feature in agriculture in Palestine, during Ancient times. So these fields yield fruits of increase; and all sorts of grain for food, and the vineyards wine for drink.
The Bible says, many surprising changes are often made in the affairs of men! If we look abroad in the world, we see many increase greatly whose beginning was once small. We see many who have thus suddenly risen, as suddenly brought to nothing. Worldly wealth is uncertain; often those who are filled with it, lose it again. The righteous shall rejoice. When sinners see how justly God takes away the gifts they have abused, they will not have a word to say. It is of great use to us to be fully assured of God’s goodness so that we may be benefited by it. A truly wise person will treasure in his heart this delightful psalm. From it, he will fully understand the weakness and wretchedness of man, and the power and loving-kindness of God.
In a spiritual sense the “fields” are the world, and the seed which is sown is the word of God, the persons that sow it are the ministers of the Gospel, which, by a divine blessing, brings forth fruit, in some thirty, some sixty, and some an hundred fold: the “vineyards” are the churches, planted by Christ and by his ministers. So the seed of the word being sown, and churches planted, they increase with the increase of God, and bring forth fruits of righteousness to the glory of His name.
Are you fertile for the Lord to sow His seed and bring forth fruit in its season? Or do you possess a dry and parched land. Where crops cannot grow and trees cannot yield fruits? God wants to spring forth water in your parched life. I earnestly wish to encourage those of you who are reading this message with great concern that; you have been going through dry and rough path of life. God wants to create a fertile and greenery in your life by causing the desert into pools of water and the parched ground into flowing springs. Once you begin to flourish then He will make the hungry to live and finally help you to establish a city for yourself. May be you have been a failure until this day. Everything you did became a failure. But hereafter God is opening new avenues to reconstruct your ruined life. God is going to help you regain all that you have lost in your life. He will teach you how to get profit in your business, how to rise at your work spot, how to increase in all the work of your hand. So long you did not get your citizenship abroad. But soon you will obtain it. God says, “Commit your ways unto the Lord trust also in Him, and He will make it to pass.” You will shine and bloom in the future. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Father God, thank You for telling us to be more truthful in our daily life. Because we see someone suddenly rise up in life and some slide down suddenly in life because of their foolishness and because of their faithlessness in God. Teach us to be wise and alert in every step we take. May we depend upon God who causes the desert into pools of water and the parched ground into flowing springs; So that we may sow seeds in our fertile land and bring forth fruit in due season. Lord please cause the righteous to rejoice in You.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has kept for you today is from the book of Proverbs 15:6, “In the house of the righteous there is much treasure, But in the revenue of the wicked is trouble.”
From the above passage we learn that, “A righteous man enjoys a happy and quiet life with more than necessities supplied, but a wicked man has adversity and suffering even while he seems to be successful in the outside world. Inner joy that is within the heart enables the righteous to be outwardly cheerful, even amid afflictions because they fear God and love others, they are truly contented even though not wealthy. Those who bring joy to others can be assured of God’s goodness to them but God opposes those who plot evil and use their positions of power to exploit the poor and the defenceless A cheerful face, like good news, brings refreshment to others. Again the book records that to gain wisdom, people must be willing to learn, be reverent towards God and humble in spirit.
In the revenues of the wicked there is trouble: though he may obtain great revenues, yet they are attended with much trouble and vexation; either because they are strangely blasted and taken from others, or because they are embittered to them by their own insatiable desires. They are often tormented by the cares and fears, or the horrors of their guilty consciences, The wicked have much trouble in getting their riches, by which they pierce themselves through, with many sorrows; they have much trouble in keeping them; cannot rest nor sleep because of their abundance, lest it should be taken away from them; and they have much trouble in parting with them, when they are, by one providence or another, stripped of them; and, besides, they have them with a curse, and are ever attended with uneasiness, on one account or another. The Bible says, “Blessings are on the head of the Righteous, but violence covers the mouth of the wicked.”
In the house of the righteous is much treasure. God sometimes blesses the righteous with great riches, as he did Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Even Solomon and his father David were blessed with glory, honour and riches. Even Job was a wealthy man during his times. However, it is better than the riches of many wicked; because they have, what they have with a blessing, and they are content with it: and they have abundance of spiritual treasure; they have God for their portion; Christ, and all good things along with Him; the rich graces of the Spirit; a rich experience of the grace of God. To those of you reading this message, I urge you to apply the character of the righteous. If you are a righteous person then your house will be blessed. For the treasure earned through honest means will give you peace and happiness. Be true to your employer under whom you work. Or be honest in the business you do. Never do business with wrong items like liquor, cigarette, and other stuff that would displease God. Be loyal to those who work under you. Never accumulate work pressure on them. God is watching you all the time. Be kind, be generous, then God will prosper you and your family. For the Bible says, “what you sow is what you will reap.” God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Father God, thank You for telling us to be righteous rather than be like the wicked. Help us to walk in wisdom, with much understanding and discretion. Teach us to be content with the blessings of God and not earn through wrong means. Create in us a clean heart, renew a right spirit within us. Make us to choose that which is pleasing and right in the sight of God.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has kept for you today is from the book of 2 kings 20:5-6, “Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord. And I will add to your days fifteen years. I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for My own sake, and for the sake of My servant David.”
From the above context we come to understand that king Hezekiah was sick unto death. Therefore God sent his servant, Prophet Isaiah to inform king Hezekiah that he was going to die and hence asked him to set right his house and prepare himself for his death. On hearing this message Hezekiah was distressed, because he did not even have a son who could be the heir to his throne after his death. So he turned towards the wall and began to weep to the Lord in prayer. He reminded God of all his good deeds he had performed as a man of God. He feared God and did that which was right in the sight of God. This he reminded to God.
Through prayer we get strength and grace, from God to enable us to do well. So Hezekiah wept sorely. He boldly told God, about himself, “Remember now O Lord, I pray, how I have walked before you, in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what is good in your sight, and Hezekiah wept bitterly.
Because of his faith in God, the Lord heard his prayer and sent Prophet Isaiah back again to Hezekiah to inform him that God had heard his prayer. God said, “Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord. And I will add to your days fifteen years. “Today many of you who are reading this message, might be like Hezekiah, crying to God over many reasons. May be you don’t have a proper job to sustain your family, or you are not in a position to get your daughter settled. Some would have lost your loved one due to Corona, or might have been caught up in debts and you are not able to liberate yourself from such a huge financial crisis. You are steeped in sorrow and distress. One of your family member may be hospitalised and under medical treatment for which you need to pay a big sum of money as medical expense. You are in a tight corner situation not knowing what to do.
Learn to pray to God like Hezekiah. Pray without ceasing. He prayed, until God changed his situation. He heard his prayer and healed him of his severe disease and also blessed him with an extension of fifteen years of his life and it was during this period that he was blessed with a son, Manasseh. Hezekiah’s piety made his sick bed to bounce back with good health. Hezekiah said, “God remember me whether I live or die let me be thine.” Hezekiah feared God. While he was a king he did many good things, like his father David had done. He removed the high places, and broke the sacred places of foreign gods. He cut down the wooden images, and broke in pieces, the bronze serpent, that Moses had made. He trusted in the Lord God of Israel, He held fast to the Lord. He did not depart from following God. So the Lord was with him and he prospered wherever he went. It was during his reign that he fell sick and died. Then Manasseh his son reigned in his place, he came to the throne while he was just sixteen years of age. See how God had blessed Hezekiah, because he feared God and did that which was right in the sight of God.
Are you following God at all times. Is your life in tune with God or have you forsaken God and operating in your own way. Have you given up all your bad habits? The Bible says, He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God. Therefore do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. Then God will hear your prayers and rescue you, from your bed of illness. He will lengthen the days of your life. He will also bless you with children and let you see your children’s children also. Even now during this pandemic period, we see death sweeping many people, when they are quite young in age. All I wish for you is that you return to God. No matter how shabby your life had been in the past. God is not worried about your past life but looking if only you would humble yourself and fall at the feet of God and pray like Hezekiah. God saw his faithfulness and his humbleness and immediately answered his prayer. God will answer you immediately when you give up all your evil ways and get right with God and follow his footsteps. God Bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Father God, thank You for telling us to be more faithful and also humble ourselves, like Hezekiah. Thank You Lord for this message, through which we see the greatness of God, towards a humble king. Lord teach us to give up all our bad habits and live a clean life before God. Forgive our past sins and receive us as your children.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
