October 19, 2026
Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the matchless name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. On this October 19th, I am very happy to meet you all through the Auspicious word. May the Lord bless you.
What is the Auspicious word the Lord has for us today? Let us read Proverbs 1:7: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.”
Today, many people lament, saying, “Because I lacked wisdom, I lost the job I had. Because I lacked wisdom, I lost the opportunities in my life. Because I spoke without wisdom, I lost all my wealth. Because I acted without wisdom, I ruined my reputation.” In this way, many children of God watching this program have faced setbacks and losses simply because they lacked wisdom.
The Scriptures teach us that if anyone lacks wisdom, they should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to them. If you humbly pray, “Lord, I lack wisdom. Please grant me wisdom,” He will freely give it to you. The Lord has promised that when we ask, we will receive, so that our joy may be complete. He will grant you divine wisdom, His own wisdom, which surpasses all human understanding.
When the Lord granted Solomon wisdom, He declared that no one before him had been like him, nor would anyone like him arise after him. What extraordinary wisdom that was! Yet, whenever I bless people, I pray, “Lord, grant them the all-encompassing wisdom that comes from You, which is even greater than Solomon’s wisdom.” I pray this way because I desire something greater for them. When I bless people, this is the prayer I offer. Such divine wisdom can lead them to the highest positions in life. God’s wisdom guides a person along the right path and protects them from making mistakes.
The Scriptures teach us that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. To receive this wisdom, you must first ask God for it and, secondly, live with reverence for Him. When you honour God, the family blessings described in Psalm 128 will be fulfilled in your life. You will enjoy the fruit of your labour, and blessings and prosperity will be yours. Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your home, and your children will be like olive shoots around your table.
For these promises to be fulfilled in your life, make a firm commitment today to live as one who fears the Lord and obeys His commandments. Tell Him, “Lord, until today, I have followed my own ways and suffered many losses. Today, I surrender myself to You. Help me to honour You, revere You, and walk in Your ways.”
When you make this commitment, the Lord will lift you up and honour your life beyond measure. Your opportunities for growth will be limitless!
Testimony
Sister Sarah from Bangalore shares her testimony:
“I used to lose my temper over trivial matters and speak very abusive words. I have three young children. My family members strongly rebuked me, warning me that my children would learn these foul words and urging me to stop. Yet, I was unable to control my anger or my foul language. As a result, serious problems arose, and my family life was shattered and filled with darkness.
In this situation, on August 11, 2026, at 10:00 p.m., I watched a message delivered by Brother Stephen on YouTube for the first time. To my astonishment, the message addressed the very issue I was struggling with. You shared the testimony of a young boy who used to speak abusively to his mother but stopped completely after a friend corrected him.
As I listened to this testimony, I wept bitterly, realising how wrong my behaviour had been all these days. At that very moment, I surrendered myself completely to the Lord and prayed, ‘Lord, deliver me from this terrible habit. I will never speak foul words again, and I will use my tongue only to praise You.’
Through that one message by Brother Stephen, the Lord completely transformed me and brought immense joy to my entire family.” This is a wonderful testimony!
Prayer
Loving Lord, we thank You. You have declared that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Today, grant wisdom to every child who lacks it. Help them make a firm commitment to live in reverence for You. Bring noble character and deep transformation into their lives.
Lord, just as Sister Sarah’s life was completely redirected and renewed through Your Word, bring the same transforming change into the lives of everyone. As Your Word transforms their hearts and lives, let great wonders take place in their families. May those who struggle with anger, hurtful speech, and destructive habits experience Your transforming power and become a blessing to their loved ones.
Look with favour upon all those celebrating their birthdays and wedding anniversaries today. May the Auspicious word, “I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord JEHOVAH is my strength and my song,” be fulfilled in their lives from this very moment. In Jesus’ name, Heavenly Father, we pray. Amen.
