Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you all this August 17th through this Auspicious Word. May God bless you.
What is the Auspicious Word the Lord has for us today? Let us read Psalm 118:24: “This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”
Today, won’t the Lord do something good for me? Won’t He bless this day and give me something good? With such longing, many children of God have woken up this morning.
The Lord is saying, “This is the day the Lord has made.”
August 17th is the day the Lord has made for you. Through this verse, the Lord is blessing you, saying, “You will rejoice and be glad in it.” Some of you may have woken up this morning thinking about certain matters and are filled with grief, pain, tears, or worry. Submit those matters to the Lord. In those very situations, the Lord will perform a miracle and bring a change, so that you can rejoice and be glad.
Look at the life of Joseph. His heart was deeply hurt when his own brothers rejected him and sold him to traders who were going to Egypt. That day must have been a day of great heartache for him. But as the days passed, the Lord changed those evil circumstances into good.
The Lord gave Joseph an honour and position that he never expected. He exalted him to a high position in Egypt and made him a ruler. The Lord turned his sorrow into joy.
In the same way, today is your day of change. The Lord will send new opportunities to your home. New opportunities will come looking for you. Job opportunities will come. Marriage opportunities will come. Opportunities to own a house will come. Opportunities for permanent income will come searching for your home. Then you will say, “This is the day the Lord has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it.”
The Lord will bless this day for you. Generally, people may say that the Sabbath is the day of worship. My beloved children of God, the Sabbath is a day when we worship the Lord, but we can worship the Lord every day because every day has been created by Him.
Every day that the Lord has given us is blessed. Therefore, do not say, “Today is a bad day. If I go today, this will not happen. It will not be successful. It will be a waste of time.” Do not think like that anymore.
The day the Lord has given you is a good day. The Lord will do good things in it and make you rejoice and be glad.
Testimony
“I watch the Mangala Vaarthai program every day and pray along with Brother Stephen. I prayed that the Lord should reveal my name through Brother Stephen and bless me. On May 23rd, 2026, Brother Stephen sharded an Mangala Vaarthai. He shared this message and preached the Word.
What a surprise! When he prayed, he called out my name and said, ‘In the very places where you were put to shame, I will lift up your head.’ He gave this prophetic word and prayed. After that prayer, the Lord blessed me and graciously helped me experience many miracles. The Lord fulfilled that prophecy. Praise be to God!”
Prayer
Loving Lord, we thank You. In Jesus’ name, I bless these children. This is the glorious day that You have given us. According to Your Word, may our hearts overflow with gladness today.
May many good and special things happen in the lives of Your children. The job they have been searching for a long time, may they receive it. The blessing of the womb for which they have been waiting and praying for many years, may they receive it. The own house for which they have been making efforts, may You open the way for them to receive it.
Break every barrier and graciously help Your children inherit these blessings. Whatever matters my children have prayed for and are still waiting to receive in Your presence, may the heavens open and may they receive their answers today.
Because of this, may my children rejoice and be glad. May this Auspicious Word be fulfilled in the lives of Your children from this very moment. Amen.
