Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the matchless name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. On this November 2nd, I am very happy to meet you all through this Auspicious word. May the Lord bless you, your homes, your businesses, your ministries, and your workplaces.
Let us read today’s Auspicious word. Psalm 42:1 (NKJV): “As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God.”
The psalmist expresses a deep longing for the Lord, comparing his desire for God’s presence to a thirsty deer desperately searching for streams of water. A deer that is parched with thirst eagerly searches for water. In the same way, the psalmist declares that his soul thirsts and longs for the presence of God.
David also expressed this deep desire when he declared that the one thing he desired was to dwell in the house of the Lord and meditate on His Word. While many referred to the Lord as the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, David developed a deeply personal relationship with Him, declaring, “O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You.”
The Lord desires this same kind of thirst and longing from His children today. Instead of pursuing only worldly needs and desires, if you first seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, He promises that all other things will be added to you.
When your soul longs for God, He will also fulfil your earthly needs, whether you are seeking a job, a life partner, a house, or blessings for your children. The Lord will satisfy your longing soul!
Testimony – Sister Steffi, Dharavi, Mumbai
“I have been working in a reputed bank for the past nine and a half years. Throughout this period, I never received a promotion. To make matters worse, the management recently promoted a junior colleague to the position of Bank Manager. I was completely heartbroken and deeply depressed.
During that time, I attended the Mumbai Family Blessing Meeting and shared my distress with Brother Stephen. He prayed for me and gave me a prophetic Mangala Vaarthai, saying, ‘The Lord will bless you and lift you up just as He did for Mordecai.’
What a miracle! Shortly after that prayer, I received an offer letter from another bank appointing me as its Branch Manager! I share this testimony to glorify the name of the Lord.
Prayer
Loving Lord, we thank You. Lord, just as the deer pants for the water brooks, let the souls of everyone thirst for You. Grant them the grace to seek Your Kingdom first, and as they do so, graciously add all the earthly blessings they need.
Break every barrier in their jobs, businesses, and ministries. Destroy every sickness, every work of witchcraft, and every evil scheme formed against them. Lead them into a life of safety, victory, and blessing.
Look graciously upon Your children who are celebrating their birthdays and wedding anniversaries today. May Your divine promises be fulfilled in their lives from this very moment.
