The Righteous Flourish - Bro. T. Stephen

My dear Brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed word that God has given you for today is from the book of Psalms 92:12 “The Righteous flourish like a palm tree.  He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.”

My dear children, the Lord is going to increase you and all will see it and be surprised.   People, around you, friends,  relatives, your neighbors will be surprised to see your progress.   When you are righteous,  the Lord will lift you up like the palm tree. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his time. Noah walked with God. You need to walk with God to receive His blessings.

There was a poor man in a village at Tirunelveli, but because of his devoted life to God, and through hard work he started a car business in Chennai where he started to make a better life. He was initially a Mechanic in a small car shed.   Since he feared God and was righteous in all his ways, God lifted him up to a great height. He became a well known Car Business  Proprietor. The Bible says, The hope of the righteous will be gladness.  People who visited his car company were wonder struck at his progress. They had seen him as a poor lad in his village and some thought the tearful prayer of his mother had risen him to that great level.

They wondered   how   on  earth  he could own such a huge car company, and thought he might have had some wealthy Business man  to finance him. But God was with him therefore he progressed day by day. The Bible says, David went on and became great, and the Lord God of hosts  was with him.  The desire of the righteous will be gladness. You need to be with God, then only you will progress in your life. As a child of God it is necessary for you to draw close to God. The Bible says, Elizabeth and Zachariah were upright in the sight of God, observing all the Lord’s commandments and regulations blamelessly so God honored them with a child at their old age. Job, was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil. He would rise early in the morning, and offer burnt offerings with a fear that his sons would have sinned and cursed God, in their hearts.

Therefore God blessed Job, and gave Job twice as much as he had before. God blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning.  This is how God blesses His children who walk faithfully, for the desires of the righteous will be granted.

God bless you.

Prayer:

Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord bless my children to be righteous, and to walk faithfully before God. Help them to give up all worldly pleasures and surrender themselves to the Lord.  There is no greater joy than to see your children  walk in the Lord. May my children grow like  a cedar in Lebanon.  And bless them Lord with wealth and prosperity that they may magnify your name.   In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.
