Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you all through this Auspicious word on this last day of the month, May 31st. May God bless you.
Today, the Lord is meeting you with a wonderful Auspicious word from 1 Chronicles 4:10: “That You would keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me!” And God granted him what he requested.
This is a part of Jabez’s prayer. He prayed, “Lord, keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me,” and God granted his request.
Today is the day the Lord will grant your request as well. You know the life of Jabez. Even his mother named him “Jabez,” meaning grief. Yet he did not seek sympathy from anyone. He did not complain, saying, “Even my mother gave me such a name.” Instead, he looked to the God of Israel and prayed.
Part of that prayer was: “Lord, bless me, enlarge my territory, let Your hand be with me, and keep me from evil, sickness, shame, and debt, that they may not grieve me.”
Though his name meant grief, he prayed that grief would not rule his life. And God granted what he desired.
Today, may evil not grieve you. May debt not grieve you. May sickness not grieve you. May shame not grieve you. May the Lord keep all these things far from you. He promises to protect you and honor you.
The Lord who heard the prayer of Jabez will hear the prayer that I pray for you today, and the prayer that you offer before Him. He will keep you away from all evil.
As we step into the new month of June, let us enter it as new creations, healthy children, anointed children, enthusiastic children, and children full of faith. Let us believe that evil, sickness, shame, and debt have come to an end.
The Lord is hearing the prayers you have offered today. The God who performed a miracle for Jabez will surely do the same for you. He is an impartial God.
Perhaps you are worried about a matter that could destroy your future. Maybe you are thinking, “If this issue turns against me, my story is over. My family will be ruined.” Do not be afraid. Submit that matter to the Lord. He will do great things for you.
Throughout this month, the Lord has done many good things for us. Even if something you expected did not happen, thank God that He has preserved your life and brought you this far. In the coming days, the Lord will do greater things. In the new month, we are going to hear many good reports.
Testimony
My brother works in the railway department. He had been praying to receive a house in the railway quarters. There were many hindrances, delays, and difficulties. I sent an email to Brother Stephen requesting prayer so that he could receive the quarters without further delay.
By the grace of God and through the powerful prayers of Brother Stephen, we received a house in ICF West Colony. The Lord graciously enabled us to receive the keys from the railway headquarters. The Lord who did this miracle will do the same for you.
Prayer
Loving Lord, we thank You. We come before Your feet and thank You for all the good things You have done through this Auspicious word. For 31 days You have protected my children as the apple of Your eye. From the beginning of this year until now, You have guarded them faithfully, and for that we thank You.
According to today’s Auspicious word, let evil, shame, debt, and failure no longer grieve Your children. Keep them far away from all these things.
Thank You for filling the hearts of Your children with joy. We offer You millions of praises and thanksgiving. May the name of the Lord be glorified.
Even now, look upon those who are celebrating their birthdays and wedding anniversaries today. May this Auspicious word be fulfilled in their lives throughout this entire year.
