Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the matchless name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
On this 31st day of October, the last day of this month, I am very happy to meet each one of you through this Auspicious word. May the Lord bless you!
What is the Mangala Vaarthai for us today? Psalm 91:7 (NKJV): “A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you.”
Many people might have woken up early this morning with troubling thoughts. You may be thinking, “A tragedy has happened in my neighbour’s house. Someone has suffered a great loss. There has been a death in another family. Someone nearby has fallen seriously ill. Something terrible has happened to my friend. Something similar has happened in my own family.”
Over the past few days, you have been hearing about the tragic incidents that have happened to people around you. Remembering all these incidents, you are sitting here today, frightened and anxious. Even as this month comes to an end, instead of experiencing happiness, you are troubled, thinking about all the unfortunate things that have happened around you.
But the Lord says, “A thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you.” You may witness these things with your own eyes, but they will not harm you. The Lord is giving you this assurance!
Do not be afraid, thinking, “Something happened there. Will the same thing happen to me? Something happened here. Will it happen to me too?”
In Job’s life, he said, “For the thing I greatly feared has come upon me” (Job 3:25). But today, the Lord is telling you not to live in fear like that. Be courageous! The Lord Himself is giving you this assurance.
You may see a thousand falling at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, but do not become discouraged or distressed by what you see. The Lord says that none of these things will harm you.
Today, develop this kind of faith according to this Auspicious word. The Lord will fulfil the plans He has concerning you through your life. No matter how serious an illness may come upon you, the Lord will help you overcome it, perform a miracle, and turn your trials into testimonies.
The Bible says that what Zerubbabel began with his hands, he would also complete with his hands (Zechariah 4:9).
Many people begin certain things but later become discouraged, thinking, “I may not be able to complete this. I have this illness in my body. Perhaps I will have to leave this work unfinished.”
But the Lord says, “I will enable you to complete it with your own hands.” The Lord is assuring you that such calamities will not overtake you.
First, believe this! Hold on to the promises the Lord has given you and pray, saying, “Lord, I am holding on to Your promises. Let goodness come into my life according to Your Word.”
Even during times of sickness, you must pray according to His promises.
The Lord has said, “With long life I will satisfy him” (Psalm 91:16). You may look at your illness and feel that it is like a deadly plague or a disease that could lead to death. You may be frightened.
At such times, take this verse and pray: “Lord, You have promised to satisfy me with long life. My present condition looks frightening, but I am holding on to Your Word. Let Your promise be fulfilled in my life.”
Pray like this and see how the Lord works! The Lord will break every chain of death. He will protect you from destruction and help you move forward into a life of blessing.
I can see this in my vision: The Lord is going to lift you and your children up and establish you like a city set on a hill. He is going to adorn your lives beautifully and make you shine wonderfully. Your own eyes are going to witness these things!
May the Lord be glorified!

Testimony – Sister Sudha, Kannagi Nagar, Chennai
“There were obstacles preventing my marriage from taking place. I attended the ‘A Day of Seeking Comfort’ healing meeting and prayed with faith.
At the end of the meeting, I requested Brother Stephen to pray for me personally. After hearing his powerful prayer, the Lord broke all the obstacles and enabled my marriage to take place in a wonderful and blessed manner.
Furthermore, my husband’s sister had been married for many years but did not have a child. She also attended the ‘A Day of Seeking Comfort’ meeting and requested Brother Stephen to pray for her personally. After that prayer, by the grace of God, she was blessed with a child.”
Prayer
Loving Lord, thank You! I bless Your children in the name of Jesus. Whatever incidents they have been remembering and worrying about, whether something happened in their neighbour’s house, within their family, or in their friends’ homes, remove every spirit of fear from their lives and give them a spirit of courage.
Through today’s Auspicious word, You have given them the assurance that these things will not come near them or harm them.
Help my children hold on to this Word, return to their normal lives, resume their daily activities, and come out of depression and fear. Let them witness Your miracles!
May the hand of the Lord strengthen and support them. Cover them under the shadow of the Most High and shelter them under the protection of the Almighty. Keep them safe from every calamity and danger.
Lord, look upon Your children who are celebrating their birthdays and wedding anniversaries today. Let Your Word, “Your gentleness has made me great” (Psalm 18:35), be fulfilled in their lives from this very moment.
