Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the matchless name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. On this October 18th, I am very happy to meet you all through the Auspicious word. May the Lord bless you.
Now, what is the Auspicious word the Lord has for us today? Let us read 1 John 4:18: “Perfect love casts out fear.”
Perfect love means complete love, which drives out fear. Today, fear has paralysed the future of many people. It has crippled their lives and become an obstacle preventing them from fulfilling their dreams. Fear has become a major stumbling block, hindering many from progressing in life. Therefore, this fear must be removed today.
When a person is afraid, even their own body may refuse to cooperate. Fear can make a person feel incapable of accomplishing anything. That is why, throughout the Scriptures, the Lord repeatedly tells us, “Fear not! Do not be afraid, for I am your help. Fear not, for I am with you and will do great things. Fear not, for I am your support. Fear not, but be glad and rejoice!” In numerous passages, He reassures us that we need not be afraid.
My dear children of God, what lies behind fear? Often, it is unbelief. When fear takes hold of a person, it can indicate that doubt has entered their heart. Therefore, today, cast away unbelief and drive out fear! Stand courageously and put perfect love into practice in your life.
When genuine love fills your heart, fear will begin to disappear. The Scriptures teach us that love bears all things, endures all things, and believes all things. They also teach us that love does not envy. The Word of God reveals so much about the power of love. Today, I bless you that this perfect love may be made complete within you.
When the Lord’s perfect love abides in you, you can face your fears with confidence, knowing that the God of love is by your side. He will lead you gently, wonderfully, and miraculously. The faith within you will become evident in your life, enabling you to live victoriously on this earth.
Therefore, may the Lord grant you the grace to love everyone genuinely. That perfect love will drive away the fear in your life. Because of fear, many people cannot sleep at night. Some are afraid to sit for their examinations, while others hesitate to go to their workplaces or business establishments. They feel overwhelmed by fear. Today, may the Lord drive away every spirit of fear and fill you with a spirit of boldness!
Testimony
Sister Divya Bharathi from Besant Nagar, Chennai, shares her testimony:
“My husband’s name is Karthi. Every day, he would get intoxicated, use abusive language, and cause me immense distress. January 30, 2026, was our wedding anniversary. Even on that day, he drank heavily and caused me great sorrow.
After finishing my night shift, I returned home utterly brokenhearted and wept bitterly. At that moment, I contacted the 24-hour Chennai Telephone Prayer Tower of God’s Love Ministries and requested prayer. The prayer intercessor prayed earnestly for us. The Lord heard that prayer and delivered my husband! From the day that prayer was offered until now, he has had no desire to drink alcohol. Furthermore, he now treats me with great love and care.”
Look at this wonderful transformation! A destructive habit has changed, and love is now being manifested in his life. What a beautiful testimony! I bless your family, too, that perfect love may flourish among you.
Prayer
Loving Lord, we thank You. You have declared that perfect love casts out fear. Fill everyone with Your perfect love. Help my children express this love within their families and share it with one another. May enmity disappear, divisions cease, goodness arise, and unity flourish among them. As I bless and pray for them, let Your perfect love reign in their homes.
Lord, let this perfect love drive away the fear in their lives. Fill them with a spirit of boldness so that they may go to work courageously, conduct their businesses confidently, serve You with assurance, study diligently, sit for their examinations boldly, and face others without fear.
Moreover, Lord, grant peaceful and restful sleep to those who are unable to sleep at night because of fear. From this day forward, protect them and deliver them from their troubles with sleep. Let every weapon formed against them fail to prosper.
Look with favour upon all those celebrating their birthdays and wedding anniversaries today. May the Auspicious word, “Great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee,” be fulfilled in their lives from this very moment. In Jesus’ name, Heavenly Father, we pray. Amen.
