August 21, 2026
Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you all this August 21st through this Auspicious Word. May God bless you.
What is the Auspicious Word the Lord has for us today? Let us read Isaiah 48:18: “Your peace would have been like a river.”
In the past, what incident disturbed your peace? What incident destroyed your peace? What situation took away your peace?
Submit that matter to the Lord and trust in Him. He Himself will perform a miracle in the very matter that disturbed your peace and restore the peace you have lost.
During the days when the Lord Jesus lived on this earth, He looked at His disciples and said, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give you.”
You may have woken up early this morning and found that something has upset your heart. Perhaps some news has troubled you. Maybe some painful or grievous news is weighing heavily on your heart. Because of that, you may be saying, “The little peace and tranquillity I had is gone.” Perhaps you are groaning as you watch this Auspicious Word.
Whenever such sad situations or painful news come, we should not fall into sorrow or become depressed. Instead, we should ask the Lord, “How can I come out of this situation? Lord, give me the strength to bear this pain.”
In a person’s life, there will be both good news and bad news. This is normal. Good occasions will happen, but sometimes something that begins with good intentions may turn into something bad. When you realise that what you thought would be good is actually causing trouble, you may become anxious.
Today, the Lord is saying, “When you lose your peace, do not become anxious. Strengthen yourself in Christ. Be courageous in Christ. Ask the Lord, ‘How can I come out of this situation?’ Seek His counsel.”
In the life of David, there was a time when he lost his wife and children. He was in great distress, but David strengthened himself in the Lord.
Because he strengthened himself and became courageous in the Lord, what happened next? The Lord gave him the wisdom and direction he needed. David followed the instruction of the Lord, and he and the 600 men with him recovered everything they had lost— their wives, children, wealth, and possessions.
Therefore, when you are anxious or when your peace is disturbed, do not make hasty decisions and do not speak hasty words. First, be at peace. Calm yourself and strengthen yourself in the Lord. Then seek His counsel and act according to His guidance. When you do this, the Lord will lead you into peace. Today, the Lord is saying, “Henceforth, your peace will not come in drops; it will flow like a river.”
Testimony
“Last May, I participated in a special prayer meeting for students and prayed for my eight students who participated in a Silambam competition in Thailand. I asked Brother Stephen to pray that all eight of them would secure first place.
Brother prayed earnestly, and the Lord heard his prayer. All eight students secured first place. The Lord graciously helped them return victoriously.”
You know, last month we had a special Shaemam meeting for students. Sister Christina brought her eight students and received blessings. All eight of them secured first place and returned victoriously from the International Silambam Championship in Thailand. The Lord was gracious to them. He will do the same for you.
Prayer
Loving Lord, we thank You. You gave all eight students of Sister Christina first place and honoured them in the International Silambam Championship held in Thailand. You blessed their efforts and gave them peace, tranquillity, and happiness like a flowing river.
In the same way, Lord, give everyone watching this program a victorious life and peace like a river.
In every incident that has disturbed their peace and every matter that has destroyed their peace, let Jesus intervene. Turn their grief into joy and their tears into rejoicing. Do a miracle in their lives.
May this Auspicious Word be fulfilled in their lives from this very moment. Amen.
