August 6, 2026
Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you all through this Auspicious word on this August 6th. May God bless you.
The special Auspicious word the Lord has given us today is Luke 4:4: “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.”
A person does not live only by the food he eats. He truly lives and is sustained by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Listen carefully, my beloved children of God. If our physical body is to grow and mature according to each stage of life, it needs proper nourishment. We give our physical body food every day, and therefore it continues to grow. But within us there is also an inner man. If the inner man does not grow while only the outward body grows, that is not true growth or maturity.
The Word of God says, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.” Therefore, if the inner man is to live, grow, and become strong, it must be nourished with God’s Word. The inner man needs the Lord’s Mangala Vaarthai, godly counsel, and the Holy Scriptures.
My beloved children of God, the strength of your outward life depends on the strength of your inner man. If the inner man remains weak while only the physical body grows, a person cannot truly flourish. The conscience, mind, heart, and spirit must all grow together. The Bible says, “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.” Therefore, from today onward, give importance to the Word of God every day.
Testimony
We live in Bangalore. Suddenly my mother became seriously ill and was admitted to the hospital in an unconscious state. The doctors diagnosed her with multiple organ infections and said her life was in danger. She was admitted to the ICU. Even the doctors were unable to determine how the illness had begun and struggled to identify the exact disease. My mother remained in the ICU for 53 days, and she was unconscious for 40 of those days. During that difficult time, we contacted Brother Stephen by phone.
Although he was travelling, he patiently listened to our situation, prayed immediately, and gave us a Mangala Vaarthai from the Lord. He encouraged us to be courageous and confidently declared that the Lord had already healed my mother. Those words brought an end to our tears and sorrow and strengthened our faith in God. Just as Brother Stephen had said, the Lord completely healed my mother. She regained consciousness, recovered fully, and returned home safely. Praise be to the name of the Lord.”
Prayer
Loving Lord, we thank You. You have declared, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.” We pray that this Auspicious word will strengthen the spirit, soul, and body of every child. May their inner man be strengthened, and as a result, may every weakness in their physical body disappear. Prosper the work of their hands and bless them abundantly.
Lord, I am travelling to America tonight. Please bless this journey. I ask everyone reading this Auspicious word to remember this trip in prayer. Lord, as one family, we join together in prayer. Grant divine protection to everyone travelling on this flight. Lord Jesus, journey with me. We invite You to go before us. As You travel with us, help us to minister powerfully in America and glorify Your holy name.
May this Auspicious word be fulfilled in every life from this very moment. Amen.
