Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the matchless name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. On this October 13th, I am very happy to meet you all through this Auspicious word. May the Lord bless you.
What is the Auspicious word the Lord has for us today? Let us read Psalm 94:18: “If I say, ‘My foot slips,’ Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up.”
My dear children of God, if we look back at our daily lives, we can see that accidents and falls happen in many places. Bikes skid, bicycles slip, and cars lose control. But even after so many incidents, if we are still alive today, do you know why? As this Auspicious word says, even when our feet slip, the mercy of the Lord holds us up and preserves our lives.
You may have slipped and fallen in the bathroom, on the road, or on the stairs. You may have fallen many times. Yet, by the grace of God, you survived without losing your life. Perhaps you suffered a few scratches or minor injuries, but you were spared from greater danger. Even when your feet slipped, the mercy of the Lord upheld you.
My dear children of God, some people say, “I wore a good helmet, but even with the helmet on, my head was injured and my brain was affected.” Others say, “My child’s helmet remained intact. It did not even come off or break, yet a terrible tragedy happened to my child in the accident.” We have heard people share such painful experiences.
This means that we must certainly wear helmets and take the necessary safety precautions. Not only is it required by the government, but it is also a wise thing to do. We must act wisely. We must pray and have faith, while also walking in wisdom. However, beyond all these precautions, there are moments when the mercy of God preserves our lives from deadly dangers and prevents the enemy from taking them away.
So, what is mercy? Our Lord Himself is full of mercy and grace. Jesus Christ is the God of all grace and mercy. He comes to uphold you and holds you firmly in His hands. His mercy protects you from many dangers and losses. That is why you are alive and protected today. Therefore, remember this God of mercy and thank Him early every morning.
How do we receive this mercy? When you seek the Lord early in the morning, you are reminded that His mercies are new every morning. Throughout the day, even if your feet slip, your bike skids, or unexpected dangers arise, the Lord is able to protect you and preserve your life.
Therefore, rise early every day and surrender your entire family into the hands of the Lord. See how He preserves your going out and your coming in, leading you safely out and bringing you safely back. No matter how many people practise witchcraft or sorcery against you, they cannot overcome the protecting power of God’s mercy. His mercy will uphold you.
From today onwards, make morning prayer a daily habit. Every morning at 6:00 a.m., we have the Mangala Vaarthai program. It is a short Bible meditation. When I finish speaking and begin to pray, pray along with me. After the prayer, remain in the presence of God for a little while. Dedicate your family to the Lord and pray for them.
As you seek the Lord, pray for your family’s health, well-being, and peace. May the Lord keep every kind of harm and loss away from you. Even if you have experienced many losses in recent days, I bless you, declaring that His mercy will comfort and strengthen you from this very moment. The Lord will do great things in your life.

“I was experiencing health problems and difficulties affecting my head. When I went to the hospital, they scheduled a date for my CT scan and asked me to return on that day.
On the day I was preparing to undergo the CT scan, I watched the Mangala Vaarthai program presented by Brother Stephen and prayed along with him. That day, a clear prophetic word came through Brother Stephen: ‘The doctor will say that the medical report is normal.’ He prayed accordingly.
After the prayer, I went to the hospital and underwent the CT scan. Exactly as the brother had declared in the prophetic word, the doctor gave me the medical report and said, ‘There is nothing to fear. Everything is normal.’ May the Lord perform such miracles for you as well!”
Prayer
Loving Lord, we thank You. Lord, You performed a miracle for Nelson. We pray that everyone will receive encouraging medical reports. May the Lord heal every disease in their bodies. May those suffering from brain-related illnesses receive healing. Lord, in the name of Jesus, we pray for those experiencing blockages in the brain and ask for Your healing touch upon them.
Even now, according to the verse You have given us, when our feet slipped, Your mercy held us up. Thank You, Lord, for preserving my children until this very day. May Your mercy continue to uphold them.
By Your mercy, let good things happen in the lives of my children. By Your mercy, let health and healing come upon them. By Your mercy, may the wombs of those longing for children be opened. By Your mercy, grant my children good job opportunities and honour them.
Look with favour upon those who are celebrating their birthdays and wedding anniversaries today. May Your blessings rest upon them.
