God will exalt the Humble - Bro. T. Stephen

My dearly beloved in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of the Lord and Saviour

Jesus Christ.  Today the Lord is telling to you that He will exalt you and you will move up in your life.  “He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the beggar from the ash heap, To set them among princes And make them inherit the throne of glory.” (1 Samuel 2:8)

God is declaring to you that He will make you “the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath” (Deuteronomy 28:13). Consider the progress in David’s life. God exalted David from an ordinary shepherd to becoming King of Israel. Look at Joseph’s life. He was thrown into the pit by his brothers. But God promoted him to be the governor over all of Egypt (Genesis 41:41). Examine Daniel’s life. God elevated him for all the agony that he suffered while in prison (Daniel 2:48). This same God who raised them is faithful to promote you in due time. The lives of the saints in the Bible serve as a testimony of God’s goodness. Hence, do not lose heart!

Our God desires to exalt everyone but He is very much pleased to exalt the one who is humble. The Bible says “he who humbles himself will be exalted.” (Luke 14:11).

Many people become puffed with pride with a sudden promotion in life. They develop an air of superiority that causes their downfall. Let us not let pride of letting pride enter our lives because many have fallen due to pride than due to sin!

God says: “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Learn to be humble from our Lord Jesus Christ! He humbled Himself and became obedient to death on a cross! Prophet Isaiah humbled himself like this, “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips” (Isaiah 6:5). David humbled himself saying, “But I am a worm. A reproach of men, and despised by the people (Psalm 22:6). Apostle Paul humbled himself testifying, “I am the worst sinner of all” (1 Timothy 1:15). So, my dear children of God, be discerning and learn to be humble. Great and mighty things will happen in your life when you humble yourself. You will be exalted by the Lord himself and everything will be added to your life. Do not be worried!

Prayer: Dear Lord, I thank you for every soul who has committed to be humble after reading this message. Lord, I pray that as they submit to You, help them to wait patiently till they receive the promotion from You. Lord grant them the blessings that they desire! Bless each one of them because of their humble spirit.

In Jesus name.

Amen!
