Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you all this September 26th through this Auspicious word. May God bless you.
What is the Auspicious word for us today? Deuteronomy 10:18 says, “He administers justice for the fatherless and the widow.”
The fatherless are children who have lost their fathers, and widows are those who have lost their husbands. For those who are in such a situation of loss, their hearts would already be broken. It is an unbearable situation. Having lost their father or husband, they may feel that they cannot bear the pain.
When someone does injustice to them in the midst of this grief, it becomes an additional burden and puts even more pressure on them. Usually, in our native language, we say, “It is like taking a needle and piercing a fresh wound.” Already, there is a raw wound; if a spear is pierced into it, how painful would it be?
That is why the Lord says, “I will administer justice for the fatherless and the widow.”
Maybe, children of God, you are in a fatherless state. When I say “fatherless,” it does not mean only those who do not have a father. For some, their father may be alive, but because of physical weakness or other circumstances, he may not be able to work hard and earn sufficiently. There may be such situations. The Lord includes those children too.
If you are in a broken state today, the Lord is saying to you, “I will do justice for you.” All those who have seized what belongs to you, the Lord says, “I will redeem it back from them and give it into your hands.”
In another verse, it is said, “He is a Father to the fatherless…” When He does justice for them, He sets the lonely in families and sets the captives free. If you are in sorrow, debt, or captivity today, the Lord will deliver you.
Know one more thing: Jesus will come in the place of a father for those who are fatherless. My beloved children of God, for those mothers who are widows, the Lord will become a spiritual Bridegroom. More than what an earthly father could do, when Jesus does it, He will bring glory to all your occasions.
Your marriage matters, the needs of your homes—the Lord will meet them. The Lord will build your own homes. The Lord will stand and build for you. I often say, “He stands and does, He takes up and does, and He gives and does.”
My children who are fatherless, the Lord is guaranteeing and saying, “I will never forsake you.” The Lord is giving you this guarantee. Hold on to this word and run your race. The Lord will do great things for you.
Testimony:
Praise be to God! I had severe back pain. Though I consulted several doctors and took medicines, the pain did not reduce. Every day, I was suffering and unable to bear the pain.
In the midst of these physical struggles and suffering, I continued to listen to Brother Stephen’s ADMV. I noted down the contact number mentioned in the program and called the 24-hour Prayer Tower of GLM and requested prayer.
A loving brother from the prayer ministry heard my problem patiently and prayed for me earnestly. What a surprise! The unbearable pain that I had was completely healed. May the name of the Lord be glorified!
Prayer:
Loving Lord, we thank You. Take away the problems in their bodies and their sicknesses. Give them divine strength.
Not only that, Lord, look upon those who are fatherless, those who are without comfort, those who are unable to meet their daily needs, and those who are in mental agony and trouble.
Lord, look upon these children and be a Father to them and lead them. Be a spiritual Bridegroom to those who need You and lead them.
Meet all their needs. Stand before their families and conduct every good occasion in their homes. Those who are lonely, set them in families. Whatever trouble they have been shattered by, give them freedom from it. Do justice for them and establish them in peace.
Lord of all comfort, give them comfort and courage, and honour my children. May this word be fulfilled in the lives of my children. Amen.
