Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the matchless name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. On this November 3rd, I am very happy to meet you all directly through this Auspicious word. May the Lord bless you!
What is the Auspicious word that the Lord has prepared for us today? Psalm 46:1 (NKJV): “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
God is our refuge, our strength, and a very present help in times of trouble.
First, our Lord has many names, and one of them is the Lord of Refuge. When we say, “He is my refuge,” it means that He is the God who provides us with a place of safety and protection.
Today, whatever the situation you are facing, whether you have experienced failure, struggled through difficulties, or reached a point where you feel that nothing is working out, come and take refuge in the presence of the Lord. He says, “I Myself will be your refuge today.”
The Scriptures say that those who come to the Lord and take refuge in Him will receive a full reward from Him. Consider Ruth. After losing everything, she went to Bethlehem and took refuge in the Lord. The Word of God tells us that the Lord rewarded her abundantly. He gave her a full life, descendants, and wealth, and honoured her. He will do the same for you as well!
Go before Him and surrender yourself. Taking refuge in the Lord means surrendering your life to Him. When you surrender to Him, the Lord will work all things together for your good. Set aside your name, pride, and status, and say, “Lord, I am Your child. My wealth, my position, and my prominence do not matter to me. You are everything to me.” See what happens when you take refuge in Him! Afterwards, you will be able to recount the many blessings the Lord has bestowed upon you.
Second, He is our strength. There are some children of God who say, “Today, I do not even have the strength to lift an object. I have no strength in my hands, my waist, or my legs. I cannot walk, and I cannot lift anything.”
To you, the Lord says, “My strength is made perfect in your weakness.” Today, you will receive the strength of Jesus!
Do you know what His strength is like? Even when He was about to face death, He stood with courage and willingly surrendered Himself. He said, “Was I not with you before? Why did you not arrest Me then? Have you come now?” He displayed such great courage and strength of mind. This is the mental strength that the Lord gives.
Today, the Lord will give you mental strength, physical strength, and spiritual strength. Whenever you need the Lord to stand by you and help you at the right moment, He will come and stand with you as your pillar of support.
Some of you may be shedding tears, saying, “I have no one to support me here. I have no financial strength or manpower to help me.” To you, the Lord says, “I am your help!”
The Scriptures say that the Lord is a help to the upright. Therefore, commit yourself to walking uprightly in your life and see how the Lord works! He will stand by you as a very present help in times of trouble, support you, overcome your enemies, and grant you victory.

“Praise be to the Lord! My daughter had been married for four years, but she had not been blessed with a child. We were deeply distressed and sorrowful because of her situation.
“At that time, our family attended the Family Blessing Meeting held in March at the God’s Love Ministries Mumbai Prayer Tower, where we prayed. We also submitted a personal prayer request to Brother Stephen, asking him to pray for my daughter. During the prayer, Brother blessed her and declared, ‘The Lord will make you a grandmother this very year!’ Just as Brother had said, the Lord performed a miracle, and my daughter conceived in April!”
Prayer
Loving Lord, we thank You. Lord, be their refuge, their strength, and their very present help in times of trouble.
Just as You have promised, let everyone who takes refuge in You receive a full reward from You. Grant them a full life, abundant wealth, and honour. May the children who are studying receive full marks in their examinations.
Not only that, Lord, I bless them to be strengthened mentally, physically, and financially. Let every weakness in their bodies depart. Fill them with renewed strength, vitality, good health, and long life.
In every matter for which they seek Your timely help, Lord, stand by them as their pillar of support. Prepare a table before them in the presence of their enemies, and anoint their heads with oil, filling their lives with joy and abundance.
Lord, look with favour upon those celebrating their birthdays and wedding anniversaries today. According to the Auspicious word, “The Lord is my light and my salvation,” may miracles take place in their lives from this very moment.
