Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you all this October 8th through this Auspicious word. May God bless you.
What is the Auspicious word for us today? Psalm 18:36 says, “You enlarged my path under me, so my feet did not slip.”
Sometimes, when we walk on narrow paths, we become fearful and may stumble or fall. That is why the Psalmist says, “Lord, I should not fall anywhere. I should not fall into sin, curses, debt, destruction, or sickness. So that my feet may not slip, enlarge the path I walk on.”
This is a beautiful and meaningful prayer. Today too, children of God, think about the areas in which you have fallen. Sometimes, because you walked on a narrow path and were unable to think broadly, you may have fallen into many difficult situations. As a result, you may have fallen into debt, experienced shame or humiliation, or faced sickness.
Today, let us pray, “Lord, enlarge the path under me that I walk in, so that my feet may not slip.”
When you pray this way, your path will become wider. Your mind will also be broadened. Your creativity will increase. Your wisdom, knowledge, and understanding will expand. If you follow the Lord’s guidance correctly, He will help you become established on this earth and bear fruit.
In your job, career, and ministry, no one will be able to shake you. The Lord will help you walk securely so that you will not fall. May God bless you.
Some may say, “I have fallen into sin, debt, shame, or sickness.” Whatever you have fallen into, tell the Lord today, “Lord, lift me up. Enlarge my path. Open a way for me.” The Lord will open new ways for you and safely lead you to your destination. The Lord is looking at you and saying this today.
Testimony
“I live in Germany. Every morning, after listening to Brother Stephen’s Mangala Vaarthai program, I begin my day. Many times, when I was anxious, the Lord comforted me through this program.
I faced many hindrances in obtaining German citizenship. There was a lack of documents, and I was in a situation where there seemed to be no possibility of receiving citizenship. During the Mangala Vaarthai program, I prayed along with Brother Stephen and began each day’s work.
The Lord alone heard my cry, and He performed a miracle that made many people marvel. By the grace of God and through the Mangala Vaarthai prayer of Brother Stephen, I received German citizenship.
My parents are also living in Sri Lanka. We celebrated my father’s 67th birthday on August 15, 2026. As a thanksgiving offering for the blessing that my father was able to celebrate his 67th birthday, we sent an offering for the APO Love Feast.”
Prayer
Loving Lord, we thank You. In Jesus’ name, I bless my children. Henceforth, enlarge the path they walk on so that they may not fall. Take them directly to their desired haven.
Give them the grace not to fall to the left or the right. Holy Spirit, lead them in holy ways. Be a light to their path and a lamp to their feet, and lead them in the right way.
Make their future shine brightly. Like a city set on a hill, Lord, help my children arise, shine, and become established.
May this word be fulfilled as such in the lives of my children. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
