Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted and happy to meet you all this 19th December through this Auspicious word. May God bless you.
Let us read Psalm 16:6: “The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; yes, I have a good inheritance.”
You have received an inheritance in good places. In a good place you have received a job. In a good family your life has been arranged. In a good place your house has been settled. In a good place the matters of your ministry have been arranged. These are pleasant places. Only the good God can give such pleasant places.
He created everything and saw that it was good. The Lord who perfected creation—will He give you something that is not good in your life? Never. If good things have not come into your life, it is often because you did not wait for the right time for the God of goodness to give them. Instead, you took something on your own, and that turned into a vessel of agony for you.
This is a deep truth. If you wait patiently until the Lord gives, you will surely receive what is good. The Lord gives perfect and good gifts from heaven. Therefore, your life should be settled in a good place, your job in a good place, your home in a good place, and your ministry in a good place.
If this is your desire, humble yourself under the mighty hand of God. Do not be in a hurry. When you choose hurriedly—“I saw this person,” “I chose this job,” “I made this decision”—and if it is not God’s will, it can become a vessel of suffering. Because of this, many are unable to live freely, work freely, or progress fully.
But the Lord says, when you receive a good inheritance in pleasant places, you will live freely. He will give you peace, freedom, and fulfilment. He will bless you with children, stability, and every good thing.
Therefore, as the God who gives perfect gifts, He desires us also to walk in righteousness. The festive season is approaching. Let Lord Jesus be born in your heart. When Jesus comes into your heart, there will be goodness in your speech, truth in your eyes, and righteousness in your actions. Then everything that happens to you will be good.
From today, the Lord is removing the vessel of agony from your hands. He is taking away the cup of suffering and giving you an inheritance of good blessings.
Testimony:
I conceived after one and a half years of marriage. In the seventh month, during a scan, the doctors said that the umbilical cord was wrapped around the baby’s neck. My mother attended the Shaemam Fasting Meeting in Nagercoil, and my aunt attended the Anbarin Paathathil meeting in Chennai. They prayed with Brother Stephen. Brother Stephen’s prayer was recorded and sent to me over the phone. I listened to that prayer repeatedly in faith. By the grace of God and through those prayers, the Lord helped me deliver a beautiful baby girl through normal delivery.
The Lord will do the same miracle for you too.
Prayer:
Loving Lord, we thank You. We desire a good inheritance in pleasant places. For this, we submit ourselves to walk in righteousness. Whatever lack or wrongdoing that may be found within us, forgive us, Lord. From today, come and sit on the throne of our hearts. Lead us in pleasant paths and righteous ways. Grant us an inheritance in good places. Bring every blessing that my children need from pleasant places. Let them live there happily and freely.
Even today, look upon the children who are celebrating their birthday and wedding day. May this Auspicious word be fulfilled in their lives throughout this year.
