December 18, 2025
Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you all this 18th of December through this Auspicious word. May God bless you.
Today, what is the Auspicious word the Lord has for us? Children of God are eagerly waiting.
Psalm 4:8 says, “I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.”
For a person to sleep well, he must sleep in peace. To experience peaceful sleep, one important thing is required: the Lord must make him dwell safely. Only the Lord can give a secure life and a joyful life. When the Lord grants safety, sleep becomes sweet; otherwise, sleep will not come.
Do you know for whom sleep does not come? Sleep does not come especially to those who are facing trouble after trouble. They keep worrying: “What will I do tomorrow? I must return money to this person and that person. I promised to repay tomorrow—what answer will I give now?” Others worry about court cases, medical reports, or exam results. Such people lie down at night with their eyes closed, but their minds keep running continuously. Fear fills their hearts—“What will happen tomorrow? What if something goes wrong? Will I die?” Because of this fear, sleep leaves them.
On the contrary, when a medical report comes saying, “There is nothing to worry about—no heart problem, no lung problem, no cancer, no TB,” only then does a person sleep peacefully.
Today, the Lord wants to give you peaceful sleep.
When someone shares good news, we say, “I will put sugar in your mouth,” because sweet news brings joy. Today, instead of putting sugar in the mouth of Jesus, offer Him a hundred praises, because that is what He truly loves. From now on, good news will come to you. Sad news will come to an end. Henceforth, the Lord will help you sleep peacefully.
In some homes, people do not get sleep because a spirit of fear troubles them. But today, no plague will come near you, no harm will come near your dwelling. The Lord iss is placing a fence around your home. Angels are standing guard. He is sprinkling the blood of Jesus over your house. Without fear, you will lie down and sleep in peace.
For some others, sleep does not come because of happiness. If there is a wedding the next morning, they are filled with joy: “Tomorrow my life partner is coming. How will everything be? My relatives, brother-in-law, uncle, and aunt will all come.” Because of such excitement, sleep may not come—but this kind of sleeplessness does not harm the body. It is like resting joyfully.
However, sleeplessness caused by depression and fear brings great harm to the body.
Today, the Lord will settle your life and make you dwell safely in your family. Because of that, He will help you lie down and sleep peacefully. I bless you.
Testimony
“I went on a tour. While traveling in a van, the silencer hit my leg and caused unbearable pain. I went to the hospital, where the doctor gave me an injection, dressed the wound, and sent me home. Even after that, the pain continued. When I removed the dressing, I saw that the wound had become very large.
In this situation, I watched Brother Stephen’s sermon on YouTube and joined him in prayer. During the prayer, he spoke the Mangala Vaarthai and comforted us with God’s Word. After that prayer, to the amazement of the doctors, the wound in my leg was healed completely. The Lord gave me full healing.”
The Lord will do the same for you too.
Prayer
Loving Lord, we thank You. Let Your children lie down in peace and sleep. Make them dwell safely. Settle their lives and arrange everything perfectly for them.
Those who are saying, “My job is not settled, my life is not settled, there is no child, my future is uncertain,” and those who are weeping—O God of miracles, Wonderful Counselor, born as our Savior—do a wonder today.
From this day onward, let Your children taste and see Your miracles. When they lie down to sleep, let their sleep be sweet and peaceful. Break every bondage of bad dreams. Let them see divine visions.
For those who say, “I cannot sleep even after taking sleeping pills. Fear of death torments me,” Lord, touch them today. Make them dwell safely and grant them peaceful sleep. Let them worship You daily with songs of praise.
Once again, look upon the children celebrating their birthdays and wedding days today. According to this Word, I bless them. As long as they live on this earth, crown them with honor and glory.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
