Everlasting Love

My dear brothers and sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Jeremiah 31:3, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with loving   kindness have I drawn thee”.  Again I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt, O virgin of Israel!  You shall again be adorned with your tambourines, And shall go forth in the dances of those who rejoice. You shall yet plant vines on the mountains of Samaria; The planters shall plant and   eat them as ordinary food.

My dear Brothers and  Sisters  we   have been  experiencing  the love of Jesus  in one way or the other. God builds up the  ruined places of your life. The Lord says, I will build you up. And you shall be rebuilt. Many have lost their family lives because of divorce or because you have been forsaken by your wife or your husband. To such people the Lord says, I will rebuild your families. Your ruined   life will be re established.  Believe in the Lord. He will do marvelous things in your life.  The Bible says,Eye has not seennor ear heard, Nor  have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him .

I wish to share the testimony of a sister Thilagavathi who had been married and later divorced  for various reason . She attended our Anbarin Padathil   Oru   Naal   Fasting Prayer Meeting and prayed earnestly. As her case was under way and hearing was about to happen soon. She was in great distress as to how the court verdict would turn out to be. And what would be the state of her life. But the Lord called her by name Thilagavathy  during the name calling  session and assured that she would join her husband very soon. She couldn’t believe her ears. She happened to attend that meeting by her friend who took pity on her and brought her there. Adjacent week the hearing  came  and Sister  Thilagavathy  had to been to the court. To her surprise her husband   who came over   there told her that he will withdraw the case and will take her home. Sister Thilagavathy couldn’t believe her eyes, her joy knew no bounds. She is now living a very happy married life. God rebuilt her ruined life.   It’s   amazing to know how God works in the life of His children. To those who have not settled in life as yet, God will settle you soon. You will have a happy married life. The Lord will open the door of marriage for you.

God loved David. He exhibited his love to David by blessing him with a wise son Solomon, to sit on his throne after him.  Hiram king of Tyre wrote to Solomon. saying” Because the Lord loves His people, He has made you king over them.” Hiram also said , “Blessed be the Lord,  God of Israel, who made heaven and earth, for He has given King David a wise son,  endowed with prudence and understanding.  In the same manner God will bless you with a generation that would be wise, prudent, and with good  understanding. Many of you are longing to have the gift of a child. God will soon bless those of you who are crying for a child. The Bible says, God grants the barren woman, a home, like a joyful mother of children. The Love of God has been poured upon you for you are very precious in His sight. Therefore God wants to honour and exalt you in life.

God bless you.

Prayer:

Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Father we thank you for your everlasting love and for rebuilding our ruined lives. We praise you for blessing our children with  wisdom,  prudence and good understanding.  Help us to be faithful and seek God diligently all the days of our life.  In  Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

The Lord Raises the despised

My dear Brothers and sisters in Christ,  I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Psalm 146:8 “The Lord raises those who are  bowed Down. The Lord loves the Righteous”.

My dear brothers and sisters, the Bible says, “This is the day which the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it.” We always desire to be happy and joyful in our life. But that does not happen always. Because there are some who say I desire to live but people don’t allow me to live in peace.  I am not able to live. For I am despised and bowed down. I am lowly and forsaken. And there might be several reasons as to why you are thrown into that state of life. May be you are not well placed in life, not well educated,  may be you lack complexion or beauty or anything of that sort.  Don’t worry because God does not look at you that way. For man looks at the outward appearance,  But the Lord looks at the heart. Hallelujah! The Lord raises those who are bowed down. The Lord raises the poor, out of the dust.   And lifts the needy out of the ash heap, That He may seat, him with princes. This is the work of the Lord.   David says, in his psalm, “  But I am poor and needy yet the Lord thinks about me. ” What a  glorious God we have. So cheer up my dear brothers and sisters. The Lord is concerned about you, He will surely lift you up to glory. But you need to humble yourself  to God. And those who humble themselves shall be exalted. The love of Jesus will  lift you up.  You  might have fallen to the bottom pit due to some unavoidable reason but God will lift you. When you are thrown out,  He is ready to hold you up.

The Bible records one such person who was despised by the elders of his family. His name was Jephthah.   He was despised by the members of his family. They threw him out of doors. He was  punished for the mistake committed by his father. His brothers said to him “You shall have no inheritance in our fathers   house   because you are the son  of another woman.” So Jephthah fled from   his  brothers  and dwelt in the land of  Tob. Later the people of  Ammon  made war against Israel so  the elders of Gilead went to get Jephthah from the land of  Tob. For he was a mighty man.  Then they said to Jephthah “ Come  and be our commander, that we may fight against the people of Ammon. ”  Now the elders said we have come to you for help.  That you may go with us and  fight against  the people of Ammon. And be our head, over all the inhabitants of Gilead. So Jephthah told the elders that if the Lord delivered them from the people of Ammon then he will be the head. His brothers agreed to his word. Though Jephthah was rejected by his brothers he found favour  in   the sight of God. The spirit  of the Lord came upon  him.  Jephthah   advanced toward the people of Ammon to fight against them and the Lord delivered  them into his hands.   God exalted Jephthah   who was despised  by  his  brothers. Thus they that humble themselves  shall be exalted.

God bless you.

Prayer:

Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day.  Thank you Lord for you regard the poor and needy, those that are bowed down, and despised. You also lift them up and  make them seated with the princes. May Your children learn to humble themselves before you that they might be exalted.  In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

God’s Friendly Love

My dear Brothers and sisters   in Christ,  I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Mark 10:52  Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way, Your faith has made you well. ” And Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.” From this portion we read about the  life of a blind man.

The blind man can be compared to a man who is blind spiritually. Such people are without any spiritual insight. They are blind to the knowledge of knowing the truth.   They are worldly and cannot enter into the kingdom of God. This is one state of blindness. They have failed to know the way of peace, life and salvation by Christ. And when they receive sight from Christ, they have a clear vision of their sinful life and they are made light in the Lord and become Children of God. The eyes of their understanding are enlightened as they are able to see the sad and ruinous state, the pollution of their hearts and the sinfulness of their thoughts. Once they receive their sight they begin to understand the loveliness of Christ and the fullness of His grace and that eternal glory and happiness is secured by God.

God is willing to open your eyes because of His Friendly love for you. He will remove the dirt  or blockade of your eyes. God will heal all the nerves and tissues that needs healing. There was one such man called Bartimaeus. He sat by the road begging. When he heard that Jesus  of Nazareth was passing by that way,  he began to cry out and say, “Jesus Son of David, have mercy on me.”So  Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called.  So the disciples  comforted him saying “ Be of good cheer. Rise,  He is calling you. “  The blind man threw off  his  garment and came to Jesus. Jesus said to him, What do you want Me to do for you? The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni,  that I may receive my sight.”  Then Jesus said to him,    Go your way “ Your faith has made you well. ” And Immediately he  received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.   A  great change came into the life of Bartimaeus.  Jesus changed his situation completely.

My dear Brothers and Sisters God will change your situation for you too, if you cry out to Him in truth and spirit. Bible says, This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles. When you come to Jesus He will deliver you from all your problems. Today God is willing to heal you of all your disease, your sorrows, your pains, your fear, and your worries due to debts, joblessness, court cases  and all other problems that you go through in your day to day life. Provided you cry out to Him. He is a God of compassion. A God who opened the eyes of  the blind can open the doors of your life too. The Bible says, I cried out to the Lord, because of my affliction, And He answered me. He is a God who answers you, when you call upon Him.  God bless you.

Prayer:

Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. We praise You Lord for opening our eyes , that we may see the truth.  Thank  You for your friendly love and compassion.  Help us to acknowledge your goodness in our  life and be healed of our disease, our pain and sorrows. Teach us to cry out to God in difficult times. Answer our prayers Oh Lord. In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

El Roi – The God who sees me

Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our creator, maker and our ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given us today is from the book of Deuteronomy 32:9-10, “For the Lord’s portion is His people, Jacob His allotted inheritance. In a desert land He found him, in a barren and howling waste. He shielded him and cared for him; He guarded him as the apple of His eye”

In this portion we see that Jacob was roaming in the desert land with no one to love and care for him. He was devastated in life. This was when God found him. The Bible tells us that after the Lord had found Jacob, He instructed and led him in the way he should go. God cared for him as the apple of His own eyes.

The bible also tells us an incident about Hagar. Hagar and her son were sent out of the house by her husband and there was no one to care for them. They were all alone in the desert. When her son was dying of thirst and hunger, God found him in the deserted land. No one came in search of her and her son. God Himself came in search of her and found her. Hagar encountered God in the desert and named Him El-Roi.  “The God who sees me.”

Dearly beloved, even now, you might be thinking as to what is going to happen to your children. Today the Lord is telling “I will find them”.  You might have shed tears at the feet of God regarding your children. Today the lord says, “I have seen your tears and will give you an answer”. Do not be troubles my child, the Lord will take care of your children and will bring them back to you. Put your trust in the Lord and He will be with you.

God bless you.

Prayer:

Our loving heavenly Father, we thank you for this blessed day. Lord, you said that you have seen the tears of your children. I pray that you may answer to all their requests and keep them happy all the days of their lives. In Jesus name we pray,

Amen.

God delivers you

My dear Brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Isaiah 43:2, When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned.”

My dear Brothers and Sisters, God is mindful of you. He loves you. You are precious in His sight. Therefore He always sends his angels to protect you that your foot may not slip. He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. God has put a mark  in the foreheads. The seal of God is on your forehead.

Dear children of God, Our Father in heaven desires that we belong to Him for ever. He remembers our frame. He calls us by our names and says, “You are mine.”If you belong to Him He will take care of your problems. He will be with you when you pass through the waters. The waters will not over flow you,  which means no problem can exceed you. The spirit of God will help you to overcome any difficult situation that you go through.

Dear Brothers and Sisters never think that you are finished when you are caught up in the midst of problems. Never think you have come to the end of your life because of your problems. God is able to make a new beginning in your life. Even when you are thrown into the fire you shall not be scorched. The three friends of Daniel namely Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, when thrown into the fire were rescued by God.  Yahweh was in the midst of them. They were confident that their God would save them to the uttermost. They said, “Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O King.” The fire had no power on their bodies. Their hair of their head was not burnt nor were their garments affected. And the smell of fire was not on them. This is the kind of protection that God provides for His children. So this is the day of salvation. Make the Lord God your Beloved.

God bless you.

Prayer:

Our loving heavenly Father, we thank  You for this blessed day.  Lord we thank you  for  your heavenly relationship. Lord Help us  to be yours  forever.   May we be confident and faithful to you in all our ways.  Help us to be bold like the Lion  when we face challenges in our life.   May You be glorified through our life.    In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.
