I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given you, for today is from the book of Isaiah 62:8 ,“Surely I will no longer, give your grain, To be food for your enemies. And the sons of the foreigner shall not drink your new wine. For which you have laboured.”
From the above passage we learn that our enemies may try all their best to grab our wealth or our position, or property. But the Lord shall never allow them to succeed in their attempt. You have toiled much to earn what you have. God knows your hard labour. So no man shall be able to snatch it away from you. May be someone is trying to grab all that you have earned through hard labour. May be your boss is often reducing your salary by cutting your wages for petty reasons. As a result you were never able to see your full salary on hand and you are crying over this issue. You are trying for better opportunities but not able to make it.
Just as God warned Laban not to speak good or bad to Jacob or to harm him, who was on his way to his father’s place with his wife and children, God will speak to your boss and caution him about his wrong dealings with you. God will warn your boss from hurting you. He will intervene on your behalf and deliver you from the cruel clutches of his hands.
Dearly Beloved, I wish to relate to an incident that took place recently. I was invited to conduct three days convention meeting at Medavakkam, Chennai, in a CSI Church. On the last day of the meeting the spirit of the Lord descended upon me in a mighty manner and I called out to one Mr. Balraman. God repeated the name three times, to indicate that he was about to commit suicide and wanted me to stop him from doing so. Actually the man on the roadways was surprised to hear his name being called. He came with a bottle of poison in his hands and stood in front of me. He was so vexed and disappointed in his life that he wanted to take the bottle home and commit suicide. But the Lord stopped him through my call. On inquiring him he said, Sir, “I had pledged my house to the Financer but I am yet to pay the loan money which I am unable to do. The Financier is therefore trying to grab my house. He is causing misery and pressurising me to pay the loan. So I am fed up of my life.” Then I told him that his cry has been heard by God and he will come down in a marvellous manner to rescue him. I assured him saying, “Today God is meeting you, and therefore you submit yourself to the Lord Jesus Christ. You are unable to occupy your house, so you have come to this sad decision. Submit your problem to the Lord today. This night the Lord will intervene for your sake and speak to the financier. His sleep will be disturbed. God will make ways for you to redeem your house. God knows you and your problem, I do not wish that you die before the appointed time. Go In peace.” So he went home. Just as I had told him a few days later the Financier came to his door step, to help him redeem his house. The house was released to Mr. Balraman on certain mutual settlement. God had been gracious to this brother.
When God can meet Balraman and show favour to him will he not be considerate to you? Can He not perform a miracle for you ? So if your enemy is trying to plunder or pluck away that which belongs to you, God will work a miracle and redeem it for you. Therefore receive Jesus as your Saviour today, and walk in the fear of God, then He will work wonders in your life. He will re establish all that had been plundered by your enemy, and cause you to be a blessing. Is your job in a shaking manner, have you been sent out without proper notification, God will re establish you in the same job. May be right now you are standing empty handed, you feel there is no way to progress, no means to educate your children, or get them settled. You do not have enough income to manage your family. May be you are caught up in debts. Don’t you worry my Brother and Sister, Our father has gold and silver in his hands. God says, “ The silver is Mine, and the gold Is Mine.”Hence submit yourself in the Mighty hands of the Lord. For the Lord who does wonders has drawn close to you. He will not allow the fruit of your labour to be stolen by your enemies. The Lord will refresh the weary and satisfy the fainted. God Bless You.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank you for this blessed day. Lord we thank You for the power of Your intervention in our lives. Teach us to depend upon You completely and not make hasty decision. Help us to labour honestly and diligently. Bless the work of our hands. Prevent us from being exploited and manipulated by our enemies.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of John 20:15, Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?” Thinking he was the gardener, she said to him, “Sir, if You have carried Him away, tell me where You have laid Him, and I will take Him away. “
From the above context we learn that there was a woman crying at the tomb of Jesus Christ. Having found that the body of Jesus was not in the tomb in which he was buried, she began to cry. She was called Mary Magdalene.
Once she was bound by seven fearful satanic spirit. She was locked up in a dark room and was crying like a mad woman. Her tears came in the presence of God. There were many other women who were enjoying outside, but because she was tied by seven spirits, she was in depression spending her time in loneliness. So Jesus came in search of her and met her. He drove away all those seven spirits that was inside of her. He made her a normal woman. He brought her out of darkness into the bright light.
Dearly Beloved, I see in my spirit some of you who are reading this message crying bitterly. Some problem is pressing your heart. Some might say, sorrow and pain has blocked my throat. So I cannot speak or utter any words. You have a place where you can cry out to. He is our Lord Jesus Christ. You can come to Him and tell your sorrows. Only He can understand your personal sorrows. He alone respects your pain and agony and helps in the struggles that you go through and help in your helpless situation.
While everybody had insulted Magdalene, it was Jesus who had come in search of her. He was a God who had helped her. He had wiped her tears, So she came to the sepulchre early in the morning. Being the third day she thought she could see at least his dead body and apply the frankincense on His body . She came with much earnestness and desire to see Jesus. But she could not see Jesus inside the tomb. Then she sat beside the sepulchre and started crying. There were other woman who came there like her. Not seeing Jesus there in the tomb, they returned. They did not wait there any further. Mary ran out and informed the disciples that she went to the tomb to see the body of Jesus but the tomb was empty. Jesus was not there. The disciples, who loved Jesus both John and Peter, rushed to the tomb and found the tomb empty. So they returned. But Mary alone stayed back. She decided not to return without seeing Jesus. She stood there by the tomb crying.
Having seen the earnestness of Mary and her longingness to see the Lord, He came and stood behind her and asked her, “Women Why are you crying? Whom are you seeking? Then she thought that he must be the gardener, so she asked him , Just tell me where you have kept my Jesus. I will go and take my Jesus.” I need my Jesus. I cannot think of my life without Jesus. She cried saying, “I need my Jesus.” She said to the gardener, “If you have taken him and hidden him anywhere you tell me, I will go and take him.”She had great passion for Christ. She had come to see Jesus. It was then that Jesus revealed Himself and called her Mary. She immediately recognized His voice and cried out Rabboni which is to say, “Teacher.”
She was the first person to have been blessed to see Jesus after His resurrection. The reason is because she decided, that she would not go, without seeing Jesus. She was crying adamantly. Jesus asked her “ Whom have come seeking for?” He knows, that she had come in search of Jesus, who had delivered her from the darkness to that great light.
Just as Mary Magdalene remained in the dark, many youngsters having been trapped by some evil spirit and are still remaining in the dark. And are always, crying and are wasting their future. Some of you are in tears because of them. Jesus who met Mary Magdalene is now watching you crying and telling that God who fulfilled Magdalene’s desire will today fulfil your desire too. Today He will fulfil the desire of your children. He is asking, why are you crying? Whom are you seeking for help ? Today in case you are searching, wandering and looking out for a job. God says, that He will provide your daughter and son with good jobs and comfort you as He comforted Magdalene. He will bless your daughter with a gift of a child who has been waiting for many long years, God will open her closed womb and bless her with child. God who wiped the tears of Mary Magdalene will wipe away the tears of each and every one of you, who search for Him. Search and you shall find. God Bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. From this message we see the true love of Magdalene and her longingness to see Jesus. Lord give us the same desire to see Jesus and worship Him. May we not return like others from our search in seeking Jesus. Help us to wait till He comes, like Magdalene. Since she waited for Him she saw Him. Give us an opportunity to see Jesus.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Genesis 24:67, “Isaac brought her into the tent of his mother Sarah, and he married Rebecca. So she became his wife, and he loved her; and Isaac was comforted after his mother’s death.
From the above context we learn about Isaac, and his marriage with Rebecca. He wasn’t married till 40 years. His mother was not able to see the marriage of her son while she was alive. But after her death there was sorrow in his house. There was worry in his house. Whenever he was at home he was reminded about his mother, He was filled with past memories of his mother. How his mother used to play with him, feed him and move about here and there with him. So in order to forget his worries he went out in the evening He used to sit out in a particular place and used to meditate on the word of God. He used to shed tears before the presence of His holy God. Since Isaac was filled with sorrow Abraham his father wanted to comfort him by getting him married. So Abraham’s servant, Eliezer was asked to go in search of a bride for his masters son, Isaac in the land of Abraham’s father Terah that is (Padan Aram. ) He was asked by Abraham not to select a bride from the daughters of the Canaanites among whom they dwelt. So Eliezer went to a far off country Padan Aram and chose Rebekah the daughter of Bethuel. The young woman was very beautiful and well pleasing to look at. Moreover she behaved in the way Eliezer had asked God to guide him in selecting the bride. When Eliezer went to that place he saw a woman coming towards him with a pitcher on her shoulder. He asked her for some water to drink. She readily gave him water to drink and also drew water for his camels. This was the sign with which he chose the girl for his master’s son.
On hearing that she was the daughter of Bethuel, he gave her a golden nose ring weighing, half a shekel , and two bracelets for her wrists, weighing ten shekels of gold. Eliezer bowed down his head and worshiped the Lord. He said, “Blessed be the Lord, God of my master Abraham, , who has not forgotten His mercy, and His Truth, toward my master.”’Now having chosen the bride for his master’s son, he did not want to linger anywhere. When both the father Bethuel and brother Laban heard all that Eliezer had to say, they consented to send Rebekah along with him to Abraham’s house in Canaan. They blessed Rebekah and she departed from her father’s house.
On the other hand we see Isaac a man of God who was mourning over the death of His beloved mother. He brought to remembrance all the past memories to catch a glimpse of the past happenings and his love for his mother and the way she entertained him all these years. He went out to take the advantage of a silent evening, and a solitary place, for meditation and prayer; those divine exercises by which he conversed with God. He felt good to be alone, he rightly employed; in meditation and fellowship with God. Observe what an affectionate son Isaac was: it was about three years since his mother died, and yet he was not, till now, comforted. See also what an affectionate husband he was to his wife. Dutiful sons promise fair to be affectionate husbands; he that fills up his first station in life with honor, is likely to do the same in those that follow.
Isaac receives his bride. He had been at Beer-lahai-roi, the place where Hagar had an encounter with the angel of the Lord, it was a place to awaken thoughts of an overruling Providence. “To meditate.” In this hour of his grave reflection comes his destined bride with her faithful escort in his sight before. Rebekah alights off the camel. May be she became aware that she had approached her husband’s house through the escorts who followed with her.
Rebecca, concludes at once that this must be Isaac her future husband and on being informed by the servant that this is his young master, she puts on the veil, which covers the head, and hangs down gracefully both behind and before. Eliezer reports the success of his mission, and presents Rebekah. Isaac brings his cousin’s daughter into the apartments formerly occupied by his mother, and accepts her as his wife. “And he loved her.” The Bible records for the first time the importance of the social affections. It comes in probably because Isaac had not before seen his bride, and now felt his heart drawn toward her, when she was presented to his view. All things were evidently done in the fear of God, We have here a description of the primeval marriage. It is a simple taking of a woman for a wife before all witnesses, and with suitable feelings and expression of reverence toward God, and of desire for his blessing. It is a pure and holy relation, reaching back into the realms of innocence, and fit to be the emblem of the humble, confiding, affectionate union between the Lord and his people. Thus we see how Isaac got married to Rebecca and how God blessed them in the future and Isaac was comforted after his mother’s death.
Just as God comforted Isaac God will comfort those of you who are reading this message with great sorrow. You are saying, “I have lost my dear one, and there is no one to comfort me.” Well God alone can comfort you and He will surely comfort you and strengthen you. He will wipe away your tear from your eyes and comfort and console you and help you to rejoice like never before, as Isaac was comforted. “’Comfort yes, comfort My people”, says the Lord. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank you for helping us know how Isaac was comforted by his wife Rebecca, after the death of his mother. Teach us also to meditate upon the word of God, and be comforted through Your word. May we act wisely like Eliezer who proved to be a faithful servant to his master Abraham. Help us to receive a sign as a proof of your presence and working in the midst of us.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Psalms 36:8, “They feast on the abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights”. The Lord says that He will bless you with the abundance of His House.
You will receive all your blessings in abundance, in the House of the Lord. When you enter into His presence, do not think of any other problem. Keep your focus on the Lord and give heed to His words. When you carefully listen to His words, you will see miracles happening in your life. There are many people who know that there is abundant blessing in His temple but they do not know how to receive it. You do not need a special language to talk to the Lord. Speak to your heavenly Father the same way that you speak to your Earthly father. All that the Lord expects from you is for you to pour out all the burdens and requests of your heart to Him. Only then he will be able to meet all your needs. When the baby cries for food, the mother feeds. Likewise, only when you ask the Lord for what you need, He will give it to you.
The bible tells us the story of Hannah. She was the first wife of Elkanah. She was not able to bear a child for many years whereas the second wife succeeded her in that. This brought great shame and agony in the heart of Hannah. One day she ran to the House of the Lord and poured out the agony of her heart. When she went into the temple, she went with her face down in shame. But after she poured out her heart, she went out of the temple with great satisfaction because she knew that the Lord will surely give an answer to her tears.
Similarly, you might also have worries piled up in your heart not knowing what to do. But when you pour out the worries of your heart at the feet of Jesus, He will surely answer you and you will receive His blessings in abundance.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. You are the God who pours out blessings in abundance. I pray that You may fill Your dear children with the abundant blessing. When they pour out their hearts burdens and pray to You, I pray that You may fulfill all that they need. Father, may You guide them and lead them in the way they should go. In Jesus name we pray,
Amen.
Dearly Beloved , I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Psalm 34:10 says, “The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.’’
From the above context we learn that this Psalm, was written by David at one of the very darkest days of his wanderings, and was living, in the hills with a band of outlaws. In such a situation one might have grumbled at God, But instead, his words were running over with gladness, and the Psalm begins ‘I will bless the Lord at all times, and His praise shall continually be in my mouth.’ Similarly here he avers, a great deal of what the world calls ‘good,’ that ‘they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.’ There were lions in Palestine in David’s time. He had often fought with one of them. Very likely they were prowling about the rocky mouth of the cave, and he weaves their howls into his psalm: By saying “ The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good.”
So, then, here are the two thoughts-the struggle that always fails and the seeking that always finds. The young lions take violent effort and struggle, and exercise supreme strength, with all their teeth and claws, yet ‘they lack, and suffer hunger.’ This statement suggests that the men whose lives are one long fight to hoard for themselves more and more of outward good, are living a kind of life that is often a failure or deception. A fierce struggle for material good is the true description of the sort of life that most of us live. There is no satisfaction or success ever to be won by this way of fighting and struggling and scheming and springing at the prey. No matter how soft is the mattress, if there is one tiny thorn sticking up through it all the softness goes for nothing. Thus we see that men count up their disappointments, and forget all their fulfilled hopes, count up their losses and forget their gains. They think less of the thousands of blessings that God has blessed them with rather than dote over the half- crown that they were cheated of.
Now, how do we ‘seek the Lord’? Our search of God, is search after the one who is near to us, and who delights in nothing but in pouring Himself into our heart, mind, our will and life. And if only our heart, mind, and life, are willing to accept Him. Then we find Him. We must seek Him by desire. Do you want Him? A great many of us do not. We seek Him by communion, by turning our thoughts to Him, amidst all the rush of daily life. We seek Him by obedience. And they who thus seek Him find Him in the act of seeking Him, just as certainly as if “ I open my eye I see the sun.’’ For He is always seeking us. ‘The Father seeks such to worship Him.’ For the Bible says, ‘Seek, and ye shall find.’ By seeking Him, we shall be sure to find everything in God. Hence look at the grand confidence, and the utterance of a life’s experience in these great words: ‘So, then, here are the two thoughts-the struggle that always fails and the seeking that always finds.
For those who seek God there will be no lacking in their life. I am sure you have gained confidence in the Living God while reading this message that when you desire to search for Jesus, then you can be rest assured that God will fulfill all the desires of your heart. May be until now things did not work the way you expected. But from today God changes the nothingness into abundance.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank You so much for clearing all our doubts about seeking God. Through this message , You have taught us the great truth. Help us to apply it in our hearts and start seeking God. May we seek Him when He is found and not delay our search for Him. Teach us to realize that when we seek Him with our whole heart He will be found. And once we find Him then we will not lack any good thing. For He satisfies the longing soul and will abundantly bless our provision, and satisfy our need with bread. He makes peace in your borders and causes our sleep to be sweet. Thank You Jesus for all Your blessings.
In Jesus name we pray,
Amen.
