God Directs Your travel

I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Judges 18:6, “And the priest said to them, “Go in peace. May the presence of the Lord, be with you on your way.”

From the above context we come to know about the journey, the Dainties were about to take, in order to inherit the portion of land that had not fallen to them.    In those days there was no king in Israel. And in those days the tribe of the  Danites   was  seeking an inheritance for itself  to  dwell in;  for until that day  their  inheritance among the tribes of Israel had not fallen to them. So the children of Dan sent five men of their family from their territory, men of valor  from  Zorah  and  Eshtaol, to spy out the land and search it. They said to them, “Go, search the land.” So they went to the mountains of Ephraim, to the house of Micah, and lodged there. For until that day their inheritance among the tribes of Israel had not fallen to them.

Prophet Micah returned the eleven hundred shekels of   silver   which he had taken from his mother. She blessed her son and told that she had wanted him to make some idols for worship.  She in turn gifted the shekels of   silver to her son and she took two hundred shekels of silver gave it to the silver smith and asked him to make a carved image and a moulded image. And they were in the house of Micah. He had a shrine and made an ephod, and many household idols. Just then a young man from Bethlehem, in Judah, came to the house of Micah. He was   a Levite. So Micah hired him to be a father, and a priest to him and take care of his shrine and idols. In return he gave him ten shekels of silver   and a suit of clothes.  So the young Levite lived in the house of Micah.  Then   he knew that the Lord will be pleased with him as he had a Levite as priest. By employing a Levite, Micah thought it was a sign of God’s favour to him and his images that a Levite should come to his door.

While the five spies from the tribe of Dan, namely the Danites, wereat the house of Micah, They    met the young Levite from Bethlehem in Judah. They inquired about his where about, and the young man had told them, “all that Micah had done for him and that He had hired him , and therefore he had  become his priest. ” So they said to him, “Please inquire of God, that we may know whether the journey on which we go will be prosperous.” And the priest said to them, “Go in peace. The presence of the LORD is with you on your way.” He told them, “Your design or plan is under the eye of God; that is, under his direction, protection, and care.”

So the five men departed and went to Laish. They saw the people who were there, how they dwelt safely, quiet and secure. There were no rulers in the land who might put them to shame for anything. They were far from the Sidonians, and they had no ties with anyone. Then the spies came back to their brethren at Zorah  and  Eshtaol.  The   five men encouraged them, “Arise, let us go up against them for we have seen the land, and indeed it is very good.  Do not hesitate to go, that you may enter, to possess the land. When you go, you will come to a secure people and a large land. For God has given it into your hands, a place where there is no lack of anything that is on the earth.”

Have you decided to travel to a distant place regarding your job or in search of a bride or bridegroom for your children, Or is it that you wish to travel abroad,  on onsite job undertaking, Or on holy land tour,  where is it that you have decided to go? And if so  have you consulted with your church Pastor, or the Elder of your church. Have they given you assurance of your safety and security   for your journey.  If not do consult with them. They will pray for you and it will be a blessing to you, and your family. When they pray for you and give counselling like the priest who directed the five men from the tribe of Dan to make their journey, saying,   that the Lord was with them and their journey will be prosperous. They will inherit the land that they were looking for. You also ask God whether  your journey is pleasing unto the Lord. And if it is God’s will, then   God will prosper your travel too. You will reach the destination, that  you wish to go and return safely   having accomplished your purpose successfully. God Bless You.

Prayer:  Our   loving   heavenly   Father, we   thank   You  for this blessed day.  Thank You Lord for directing our    steps.  Teach us to consult with the Elder or the Pastor of the church whenever we make a journey. Help them to pray for our safety and security. Be with us Lord in our journey that we undertake.  Enable the purpose of our journey to be fruitful.

In Jesus Name we pray.

Amen.

YOUR PLANS WILL PROSPER

I greet and bless every one of you in the Mighty name of our Lord  Jesus Christ. The Blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of 2 Chronicles 7:11, “ Thus Solomon finished the house of the Lord, and the king’s house, and Solomon successfully accomplished all that came into his heart, to make in the house of the Lord and in  his  own

From the above context we see how Solomon finished the house of the LORD and the king’s palace, and successfully completed everything that he had planned to do. Solomon went on in his work, and prosperously effected all that he designed for the adorning both of God’s house and his own. Those that begin with the service of God are likely to go on successfully in their own affairs. It was Solomon’s praise that what he undertook he went through with   and it was by the grace of God that he prospered in it.  Hallelujah!

May be until this day whatever you had been planning to do, regarding your family, or your children, or for your future would have been a failure.  Nothing   seemed to work the way you expected.  So you have been disappointed all these days. But to those of you who are reading this message, I wish to say that the Lord will help you to accomplish all that you have planned to do in your life. What you need to do is to be thankful to the Lord for what He has already done in your life, “Have a heart of gratitude,” like King Solomon. Then you will be successful in the journey of your life.

May be you started certain things but you couldn’t. It may be your house construction, or your   business, or your plan to go abroad to make a better life. But all your plans remain unaccomplished. You couldn’t be successful in your venture because of financial deficit, lack of obtaining permission from the Government, or many other reasons. What you couldn’t accomplish will be completed by the grace of God this year. Nothing can obstruct you from completing your vision,  or  your plan or desire. God wants you to be successful in the purpose of your journey. Hence your journey will be successful. For whatever purpose or reason you wish to travel, the Lord will help you to be successful. You might have roamed here and there regarding a particular matter, but you would have received a message in contradictory to your request. And therefore you seem to be crying over the issue. God knows your wanderings, He has stored your tears in His bottle.

You might have been to the court several times, or you might have been going many times to see the lawyer, but you have not found any solution to your problem. You had been to the hospital often yet you found no remedy to your sickness. So you are pained at heart, and so you are filled with tears. May be you are broken in heart and reading this message with deep distress and grief, since you have failed in all your pursuit, until this day. But God is prophetically saying that from today onwards, your journey will be successful. Solomon showed his love for the LORD by walking according to the statutes of his father David, and the king went to Gibeon an important altar and offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar. God was so pleased with him.  Therefore God honoured him.  Similarly the purpose for which you are undertaking will be fruitful in the days to come. You will accomplish the purpose for what you are going and return successfully. There will be no more failures hereafter in your life if you offer yourself unto the Lord and walk according to His statues.  Be grateful to God always. God Bless you.

Prayer: Our Loving Heavenly Father, we thank you for this blessed day.  Lord teach us to approach God when we are in trouble.  Help us to seek the Lord in prayer. And may we praise and glorify His name, in order that  we  may  be  victorious in  all  the  battles that  are  set before us. Lord give us the understanding   to   be grateful to God for all that He had done in the past. May we be like king Solomon who showed his gratitude to God by offering sacrifice unto His God.

In Jesus Name we pray.

Amen.

God Will Give You Victory

My Dear  Brother and sister,   I greet and bless every one of  you in the Mighty  name of our Lord  Jesus Christ. The Blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Joel 2:26 b “ Praise The Name Of the Lord, your God. Who has dealt   wondrously   with  you. Then My  People  shall never be put to shame. ”

My Dear Brother and Sister, “God Inhabits the Praises of His People” For God is holy, and therefore   inhabits  the praises  of  Israel.” We feel God’s love most keenly when we are focused on His will and have devoted ourselves fully to His praise and purpose for our lives.  When we praise and sing unto the Lord then, God brings victory in our lives. When you acknowledge God as the giver of all things,   and when you ascribe it entirely to the grace of God, who has done wonders for you especially in setting you  apart for Himself,  in Christ; and in calling you  out of darkness into  His  marvellous light; and in calling  you as His  children, God will never put you to shame. You shall not be ashamed of your faith and hope, and expectation of good things that God has promised you.

My Dear Brother and Sister, God gives victory to those who praise the name of the Lord. You need not fight with your enemies instead praise the name of the Lord. Then God will fight for you. Hallelujah ! Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, then appointed men to sing unto the Lord, and some of them to praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying “Praise the Lord, For His mercy endures forever.” And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord  set  ambushes  against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who came against Judah the children of God.

My   Dear   Brother and Sister,  When the three nations came against the tribe of Judah, Jehoshaphat  the king of Judah, knew he couldn’t fight against the three nations with his army. He needed help from the Lord so he went into the temple of God and prayed for the protection of his people, and victory  over  these  nations. The  people  of Mount Seir were rough and crude people to fight with, Jehoshaphat alone could not, attack the three nations. He knew that with his army he would not be able to fight his foes, who came against him.  So he lifted up his face unto the Lord,  because he believed that help came from the Lord, who made the heaven and the earth. He approached God seeking for help.

My   Dear   Brother And  Sister,  God expects us to come to the church and tell Him our problems  then He will take care of our needs.  He   will   neither leave us nor forsake us.  He is Ebenezer, the God who helps. See   king   Jehoshaphat he went to the temple of God,  when he was in trouble. He cried unto the Lord and God heard his prayer and fought for His people. For the battle belonged to the Lord. Since the tribe of Judah sang and praised the Lord,  The Lord of Hosts was in the midst of Judah and fought for them As a result they won the battle. The three nations fought among themselves and killed each other and died in the battle.  When  the  army  of  Jehoshaphat, looked toward the multitude, they saw all the dead bodies fallen on the earth. No one had escaped. Thus God brought victory to His people since they praised the name of God and sang the beauty of His Holiness. If you   who are reading this message will  also  praise the name of the Lord,  God will honour you and bring victory unto you in your business, in your education, in your family life and God will bless the work of your hands. The Psalmist says, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” Therefore praise the Lord and be blessed.

Lord  give  us the understanding  to  be like king   Jehoshaphat who sent his team of worship leaders  before  the  army  to  gain  victory. Help us to be victorious in our life.

In Jesus Name we pray.

Amen.

God Will Be With You.

I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Isaiah 43:2    “’When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned.”

The Lord has promised never to leave us nor forsake us, no matter what life may throw at us. We are redeemed by the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. We have been bought with a price and we belong to the Father and His favour is upon all His children. He has promised to cover us with His gentle arms, and protect us by His perfect peace, when our hearts rest in Him .We have an assurance that the promises of God’s protection and His help are available for all who trust in His name. The children of Israel walked through the Red Sea on dry ground, because the Lord was with them, and yet the same waters submerged the enemies of the Lord. The flames that were heated seven times hotter did not singe a single thread on the garments of Daniel’s three companions – and yet the fire consumed those that threw them into the flames.

When the children of Israel faced their enemy God protected them. Thus we see that His protection and help is equally sure and steadfast for all who are called by His name. Let us trust God at His word – let us believe what God has said and rest in the knowledge that it is the God of the universe,   who says to each one of us – When you pass through deep waters, I will be with you. When rivers of difficulty swirl around, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up and the fiery flames will not consume you. The truth of God’s Word has been tried and tested by multitude of saints down through the centuries, who not only trusted Him for their salvation but continued to trust Him through all the circumstances of life, for He has promised that He will never leave us nor forsake us, so let us trust in the God of our salvation in all the things we do.

God is mindful of you. He loves you. You are precious in His sight. Therefore He always sends his angels to protect you that your foot may not slip. He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. God has put a mark on your foreheads, and since the seal of God is on your forehead. He remembers our frame. He calls us by our names and says, “You are mine.” If you belong to Him He will take care of your problems. He will be with you when you pass through the waters. The waters will not over flow you. Which means no problem can exceed you. The spirit of God will help you to overcome any difficult situation that you go through. In the songs of Solomon, The Shulamite addresses the king as “My Beloved.” Israel is regarded as the bride of Yahweh. Shulamite says, I belong to my beloved and my beloved is mine.  You should also make the Lord your beloved. He should be yours and you should be His. Jesus tells His heavenly father “All who are mine belong to you,  and you have given them to Me. So they bring me glory.” Therefore we need to bring glory and honour to God Almighty, in every aspect of our life.

Prayer:  Our   loving   heavenly Father, we   thank   You for this blessed day.  Lord as we face the storms and flames of life that appear to be so overwhelming – may we remember Your Word of truth. Help us to recall, Who You are and what You have promised to us.  Help us to secure our hope in You. Thank You that You have promised to be with us in all the scenes and circumstances of life,  for You are the all-powerful, all-knowing, all-gracious God, Who loves us with an everlasting love  Therefore we  praise Your holy name. Accept us as your beloved children.

In Jesus Name we pray.

Amen.

THE RESCUER

I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of Daniel 3:17,18, “If that is the case, our God whom we serve, is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand O king. ”But if not let it be known, to you O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.”

From the above context we see how strong and determined the three friends were when the Babylonians took the opportunity to denounce the Jews. The officials complained to King Nebuchadnezzar, “that there were some Jews namely Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego—that they disobeyed the king’s orders for they refused to worship the Babylonian gods or bow down to the statue of Nebuchadnezzar that was set up by the king. On hearing this, the king flew into a rage and ordered the three men to be brought before him.  The king called the three friends and   asked them to worship his statue while, they heard the sound of the trumpets, lyres, harps, and all the other instruments.  Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered, “Your Majesty, If the God whom we serve is able to save us from the blazing furnace and from your power, then he will. But even if he doesn’t, Your Majesty be sure that we will not worship your god, and we will not bow down to the gold statue that you have set up. So we see that Daniel’s three friends were accused of disobedience.

Listening to the three men, Nebuchadnezzar lost his temper, and his face turned red with anger at Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. So Daniel’s three friends   were   sentenced to Death. The king, ordered the furnace to be heated seven times hotter than usual and he commanded the strongest men in his army to tie the three men up and throw them into the blazing furnace. So they tied them up, fully dressed—shirts, robes, caps, and all—and threw them into the blazing furnace. Suddenly Nebuchadnezzar leaped to his feet in amazement. He asked his officials, “Didn’t we tie up three men and throw them into the blazing furnace?”“Then why do I see four men walking around in the fire?” And “they are not tied up, and they show no sign of being hurt—and the fourth one looks like an angel.”

Nebuchadnezzar went up to the door of the blazing furnace and called out, “Shadrach! Meshach! Abednego! Servants of the Supreme God! Come out!” And they came out at once.  All the princes, governors, lieutenant governors, and other officials of the king gathered to look at the three men, who had not been harmed by the fire. Their hair was not singed, their clothes were not burned, and there was no smell of smoke on them. The king said, “Praise the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego! He sent his angel and rescued these men who serve and trust him. They disobeyed my orders and risked their lives rather than bow down and worship any god except their own. And now I command that if anyone of any nation, race, or language speaks disrespectfully of the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, he is to be torn limb from limb, and his house is to be made a pile of ruins. There is no other god who can rescue like this.” And the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to higher positions in the province of Babylon. The Three Men were not only   released   but also were promoted.

How about you? Are you strong in your faith in God when temptations come your way. Will you be strong like these three men or will you give up on God who gave His very life for you on the cross. Think for a moment. What a testing time it would have been for the three friends. Yet they stood for God. Therefore God honoured them.  They were not only released from the furnace of fire but they were promoted to higher posts in the province of Babylon. If you remain determined for God you too will be elevated in your life. You will get a better promotion in your working spot, or you will get settled or you may be placed abroad by your company. God might bless you with a gift of a child or bless your business in a way that your life would be prosperous. When you take a stand for God then He lifts you up in your status and gives you fame and name among all the people of the land. God Bless you.

Prayer:  Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank you Lord for instilling   an urge to remain true to You   in our life, in spite of the difficulties we face.  Give us the knowledge to seek Your counselling in all that we do.   Lord reveal your plan and purpose for us in our life.  Help us to be like the three friends of Daniel who stood the test, and rose victoriously to greater heights. Help us also to remain firm in our decision, and never give up our faith, that we have on our living God, for any reason.

In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.
