God Is Our Refuge

I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has kept for you today is from the book of Isaiah 54:11, 12, “O you afflicted one, Tossed with tempest, and not comforted, Behold, I will lay your stones with colourful gems, and lay your foundations with sapphires.  I will make your pinnacles of rubies, Your gates of crystal, And all your walls of precious stones.”

From the above context we learn that God is our refuge especially to those who are being oppressed. Just as a demolished city lashed by storms needs to be rebuilt God will help you to rebuild   your oppressed state of life with   precious stones of         rubies. God will not only help you to rebuild but also comfort Zion. What is the Lord going to do for you during the period of oppression? He is about to do great many things for you. Firstly He will send his word and comfort you. Secondly, by the power of His word He will give you refuge in your period of affliction. The Bible says, “The Lord will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. God says, He Himself will be a Shield, and Shelter, to the oppressed and to those who have been rejected. For the Lord will not only give them refuge, but also help and support them during the time of oppression. The Bible says, “God is our refuge, and strength. A very present help in trouble.”

Are you going through a trying period, of your life. May be you are inflicted because of serious disease or because of loneliness, or have you been dejected because of rejection, and being despised by your dear ones? Are you trapped, due to huge debts, and you are not able to be relieved from it. May be you are frustrated because of shame and humiliation in your life. You are unable to face your friends and relatives. All these oppression causes you to panic and you are gripped in fear and threat. Are the neighbours causing oppression to you? Are you facing oppression at your work spot?  Is someone causing trouble in your ministry? Are people speaking bad about you and your ministry? Well, My God says, when you go through oppression, “I will be a refuge to you. “You are reading this message hoping that God will show you a ray of hope  in your life. The Lord will send His powerful word and comfort and console you. He will protect you from your evil neighbours and from your enemies. All their weapons aimed at you will not prosper because  God will be a wall of fire around you. He will deliver you from the hands of all the wicked and cruel people who do all things to curb you from    your wellbeing.

When people go through oppression, they go far away from all the comforts which they had enjoyed previously in their life, and they are apparently forsaken by God.   But God who seems, to have forgotten them says, Behold, I will lay your stones.  ‘For Jerusalem shall be rebuilt up with sapphires, and emeralds, and precious stones; and of pure gold. And the streets of Jerusalem shall be paved with beryl, and stones of Ophir. Just as God desires to decorate the temple of God in Jerusalem by rebuilding it with precious stones, in a similar way the Lord will brighten up your days with beauty, magnificence, purity, strength, and solidity. God will not only help you to prosper, but He will help you to lie down in peace, once you have passed through the period of oppression.

Prayer:   Our   loving    heavenly Father,   we    thank You for this blessed day. Thank You God for being our refuge and helper in times of oppression. Thank You Lord for telling us the reason why You allow affliction in our life. Help us to remember You and return back to You. Give us the strength to bear our trials and affliction when we are compelled to go through such oppression. Lord be our strength and shield.  Help us to come out of it quickly and be relieved.

In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

YOUR LIFE WILL PROSPER

I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has kept for you today is from the book of Nehemiah 9:25, “And they took strong cities and a rich land, and possessed houses full of all goods, Cisterns already dug, vineyards, olive groves, And fruit trees in abundance. So, they ate and were filled and grew fat, and delighted themselves in Your great goodness”.

When the Lord’s appointed time of favour comes, you will eat and be well nourished and indulge yourselves in His bountiful goodness.

Yes, according to this verse when it is the Lord’s appointed time of favour, you will automatically inherit the below mentioned blessings. All your bondages will be destroyed. You will prosper.

Fortified Cities: When it is the Lord’s appointed time of favour, the Lord will grant you a safe and secure life. There will be protection for you and your children in this world.

Fertile Land: When it is the Lord’s appointed time of favour, the Lord will grant you a fertile land, a prosperous life. Your spiritual life and material life will automatically prosper.

Houses full of every good thing: When it is the Lord’s appointed time of favour, the Lord will transform your houses into well-furnished houses. Your house will be filled with all sorts of goods and possessions.

Cisterns that were already dug: However impressively your house is furnished if there is no water it’s totally worthless. When it is the Lord’s appointed time of favour, the Lord will grant you a well that is already dug along with your house. And it will be a blessing like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail (Isaiah 58:11).

Abundance of vineyards: When it is the Lord’s appointed time of favour, the Lord will grant you not only a house with a cistern but also a garden and prosper you.

Olive groves: When it is the Lord’s appointed time of favour, the Lord will grant you olive groves. Why Olive groves? Oil for the wellbeing of your body. Furthermore, the oil of “anointing” will enable you to have abundant blessings all through your life (Psalms 23:5).

Fruit trees: When it is the Lord’s appointed time of favour, you will lead a fruit bearing life. And your house will be surrounded by fruit bearing trees.

Maybe you are wondering, there are so many blessings mentioned. When it is the Lord’s appointed time of favour, but am I eligible to receive this favour? Do I deserve this kind of favour?  Yes, because our Lord has shed His precious blood for you, this blood has made you eligible and deserving to receive this favour (Ephesians 2:13).

May God touch you with His nail pierced hands, and destroy all bondages of sickness, all cords of death, all witchcraft bondages and grant you divine health and healing and prosper you. May the Lord’s hand be with you so that you will no more have pain due to evil (1 Chronicles 4:10). May God bless you abundantly! Amen.

Prayer:   Our   loving    heavenly Father,   we thank You for this blessed day. “LORD, we pray that you will bless your children with your abundant blessings. Bless your children with divine health and prosper them.  May the may be blessed according to Nehemiah 9:5.

In Jesus name we pray,

Amen.

GOD WILL NOT FORGET YOU

I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has kept for you today is from the book of Isaiah 49:15, “Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the sun of her womb, Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you.”

From the above context we learn that even when your father and mother forget you, God will not forget you. You might be going through some trouble, or some problem that causes you to think, that God has forgotten you.  But God says, “I will never forget you, neither will I forsake you.”He says I will be with you always, even to the end of your age.”

God might seem to be silent, but you need to understand that God is working behind you for your welfare. May be you are reading this message with great burden in your heart, as things have gone wrong in your life or may be in your family, I tell you that God will never forget His children especially those who seek Him with  your whole heart.

You are saying that in case God had not forgotten you, then you would not have had, to go through such troubles. If only God remembered you then you would not have suffered such terrible things. You are in a fix. The problem has gone beyond your level of   control, So you are compelled to think or say that God has forgotten you. He created you and He remembers your frame that you are dust. Your walls are ever before Him, then how can He forget you. We read in the Bible about Hagar. She, was, Abraham’s concubine and the mother of his son Ishmael. Purchased in Egypt, she served as a maid to Abraham’s childless wife, Sarah. So we see that Hagar worked in the house of Abraham as a maid but later she became the wife of Abraham and she gave birth to a son called Ishmael.  After some years when Sarah gave birth to Isaac there arose some indifference between the Mistress and the maid. So Abraham sent Hagar out of his house along with her son, as he was commanded by the Lord.

Hagar walked in the wilderness, with her only son.  When the water in the skin was empty, she put the boy under one of the bushes. Then she went off and sat down about a bowshot away, for she thought, “I cannot watch the boy die.” And as she sat there, she[ began to sob  and cry bitterly. God heard the boy crying, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven and said to her, “What is the matter, Hagar? Do not be afraid; God has heard the boy crying as he lies there. Lift the boy up and take him by the hand, for I will make him into a great nation.”Then God opened her eyes and she saw a well of water. So she went and filled the skin with water and gave the boy a drink. God quenched the thirsty boy and thus gave life to him who was at the verge of death. Thus we see that God remembered Hagar in the wilderness and also her dying son.

Both Abraham and Sarah for whom, Hagar had served so   sincerely, had forgotten her. They did not think about her troubles in the desert. What she would do alone in the desert, with the boy or how will she manage if water gets over in the leather bag. But God Remembered Hagar. If this God could remember Hagar, will He not remember you and your family, or your problem? May be your son has not secured a job or your daughter is yet to get married. Nothing seems to happen. Then you tend to think that God has forgotten you. No not at all. God the Father is a God of promise. He will neither leave you nor forsake you. He who promised is faithful. He will guide you in the wilderness of your life as He led Hagar and her son. Do not lose hope. Trust in Him at all times. The Bible says, But whoever listens to Me, will dwell safely. And will be secure without fear of evil. Believe in God and be blessed.

Prayer:   Our   loving    heavenly Father,   we    thank  You for this blessed day.  Lord we thank you for hearing the cry of Hagar in the wilderness and quenching the thirst of her son, by performing a miracle.  Lord we understand that You are a God who remembered Hagar, and You will remember us also.   In the same manner do miracles in our life and satisfy our needs. Help us to put our trust in You Lord  at times when we are afraid.

In Jesus name  we pray

Amen.
