Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you on this day, October 20th, through this Auspicious word. May God bless you.
The Auspicious word that the Lord gives us today is from Psalm 119:105 — “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
The Word of God, the Auspicious word you receive daily, is a lamp to your feet. This means that when your feet tread in dark places, it reveals the hidden dangers—it is such a lamp. It shows you if there’s a trap, a pit, or a net in your path. The Word of the Lord enlightens your steps and says, “Don’t step here; there’s danger ahead.” It warns you of deception, hidden snares, or even unseen harm.
What a precious promise this is! Wherever your feet go, may the Word of God shine as a lamp before you so that you do not stumble, fall into sin, or get caught in any trap. The Word of the Lord will be a light to your path—guiding you in the right direction and helping you reach your destination safely. “A lamp to my feet” gives close light—like a torch that clearly shows what lies right before you, whether danger, impurity, or harm. “A light to my path” gives a broader vision—it shines on your way ahead. It means that in your path toward an interview, a job, or your future, God will shine His light. The Lord will bring you out of darkness into His marvellous light and bless you with a glorious, shining future.
For those children living in darkness or depression, today the Lord is coming as light. He will enter their rooms, touch their hearts, and bring them out of hopelessness into joy and peace. Families who have been troubled will see their children set free, their minds renewed, and their futures brightened.

One sister wrote an email asking Brother Stephen to pray that her daughter would pass her 12th board exams and continue her higher studies. Brother prayed earnestly and replied with the promise from Genesis 12:2. By God’s grace, her daughter scored 81% and joined B.Tech Biomedical Engineering at Karunya Institute, Coimbatore.

Loving Lord, we thank You. Lord Show them the right way, guide their steps, and protect them from traps. Lead them to good families, fruitful jobs, and prosperous lives. Bless them with peace and honor.
Lord, bless all those celebrating their birthdays and wedding anniversaries today. According to this Mangala Vaarthai, may this entire year be filled with Your miracles and guidance.
