Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you all this September 3rd through this Auspicious word. May God bless you.
What is the Auspicious word the Lord has for us today? 2 Samuel 22:36 says, “Your gentleness has made me great.”
Gentleness means mercy. “Your gentleness has made me great.” Because of the Lord’s gentle heart, mercy, and compassion, you will become great. This is the Auspicious word the Lord is giving you today.
Many of you may be sitting in sorrow and saying, “I am not able to progress. I am taking so much effort, but nothing is working out. If I take one step forward, I fall back four steps. If I progress three steps, I go back six steps. Why am I facing so many problems? For everyone else, whatever they touch seems to prosper. Why are such problems happening only to me?”
Children of God, if you are saying this with tears in your eyes, say, “Lord, let Your merciful eyes look upon me.”
The Bible says that the Lord’s mercy is upon you. When you have a merciful heart and do good to others, the mercy of the Lord will bring you the good gifts and complete blessings you need.
In simple words, the Bible says, “You shall reap what you sow.” When you show a merciful heart to others and become a blessing to them, you too shall be blessed. The Lord will keep His merciful eyes upon you and pour out His blessings upon you in multiplied measure. So today, you surely need a merciful heart.
I often say, “Do more social work. Help the poor. Support fatherless children. In their times of trouble, encourage them with your words and support them with your wealth.” When you help the poor, it is equal to helping the Lord Himself.
So, those of you who have been ignorant of the needs of the poor until today, I bless and pray that from this day onwards, you will have a merciful heart. May every hardened heart become a merciful and compassionate heart. I bless you in this way.
People often say, “Please show a little mercy. Please show a little kindness.” When you show mercy and kindness to others, the Lord will show mercy to you.
If you show mercy in five measures, the Lord can show you mercy in five million measures. Today, the Lord is saying, “Your gentleness will make you great.”
Fall at the feet of that merciful God and say, “Lord, until yesterday, I have not helped anyone. From today onwards, I will help others.”
That is what Zacchaeus said. He realised that he had not cared for the poor until then, and he decided that from that day onwards, he would give his wealth to the poor. He submitted himself in the presence of God, and the Lord brought salvation to his house.
The Lord will bring salvation and blessing to your family too. In your job, you will become great. In your field, you will reach the top level. In your studies, you will become great. In your ministry, you will become great. The Lord will open ways for you to rise and prosper.
Testimony
“My daughter suffered from severe stomach pain. I took her to the hospital, and the doctor examined her and said that there was a possibility of stones in her gallbladder. He advised us to take an MRI scan immediately.
Before taking the MRI scan, I came to the APO Fasting Meeting with my daughter. During the individual prayer, I asked Brother Stephen to pray for her. Brother Stephen prayed for her earnestly.
After that prayer, when we took the MRI scan, the doctor reported that there was no stone in the gallbladder and that everything was normal. May the name of the Lord be glorified!”
Prayer
Loving Lord, we thank You. You have said, “Your gentleness has made us great.” Lord, until yesterday, some of Your children may have had hearts that were like stone. Today, change their hearts and make them merciful and kind hearts. We bless them in this way.
Lord, through our charity and tender-hearted service, many poor people are being helped. Through this, many are being blessed. We thank You for making our ministry and our families great through these acts of mercy.
I am praying for my children as a testimony. Through our Tender Hearts Charitable Trust, how many poor children are being benefited and how many children are being blessed. With that testimony, I pray for my children.
Lord, help them also to show mercy to others. Help them to show mercy to those who work in their homes. Help them to show mercy to their colleagues and to the staff who work under their leadership.
Because of their merciful hearts, thank You for making them great. In their businesses, ministries, prayers, and in every area of their lives, keep my children high and honour them.
My children should not borrow but should become people who lend. Let them become a blessing to many others.
May this Auspicious word be fulfilled in their lives from this very moment. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
