Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you all this 4th of December through this Auspicious word. May God bless you.
Today the Lord gives you a Auspicious word: Nahum 1:7 says, “The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble.” This verse declares that He will be your stronghold in times of trouble and reveal Himself as a good God to you.
Today, what trouble are you facing? Whatever it may be, the Lord will be your stronghold and deliver you from it. Perhaps you are stuck with a troublesome person. Perhaps you are trapped in a difficult case, or in an unwanted relationship. Maybe you borrowed from someone difficult and now find yourself in distress. You may be saying, “By mistake I fell into this… by mistake I got trapped… I didn’t realize I would end up here.” Many of God’s children are in tears because of such situations.
Today, Jesus will reveal Himself to you as a good God. The Lord is good; His grace endures forever. He is a very present help in trouble. In these troubled moments, call upon Him.
Jonah too was stuck in a terrible situation—inside the belly of a fish, in the middle of the sea. But from there he cried out to the Lord and made a pledge. God commanded the fish, and it brought Jonah to the shore safely. He was delivered from his trouble. He tasted and saw that the Lord is good.
Today, no matter in whose “mouth” you are trapped—in a problem, in distress, in confusion, or in the hands of troublesome people—if you call upon Jesus, He will deliver you and bring you safely to shore.
Testimony
Praise be to God. I had an abscess in my body and suffered with great pain and agony for many months. During that time, on 02-08-2015, I watched the live telecast of the Anbarin Paathathil Oru Naal fasting meeting. During the prayer, Brother said, “The abscess in your body is disappearing.” I forgot about my abscess during the prayer, but the Lord did not forget. After the prayer, I noticed blood stains on my clothes. When I checked the place where the abscess had been, it had completely disappeared. I was amazed. From that moment, I have had no pain or discomfort. I am completely healed.
Prayer:
Loving Lord, we thank You. You have said, “The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble.” Perform a miracle. From today, grant them the grace to live in freedom.
Look upon the children celebrating their birthdays and wedding anniversaries today. According to this Mangala Vaarthai, let miracles fill their lives throughout this year.
