Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you on this day, October 2nd, through this auspicious word. May God bless you.
let us take today’s auspicious word from Hebrews 13:6:
“The Lord is my helper; I will not fear.”
Many children of God live their lives in fear. Some fail in exams because fear clouds their mind, even making them write wrong answers to questions they know. Fear causes many to lose their victories and achievements, making those destined for greatness stand as though insignificant. But today, the Lord wants to remove this fear from your life and fill you with the spirit of courage.
Apostle Paul confidently says, “I will not fear”—why? Because he knew he had someone to help him: the Lord who made the heavens and the earth. Fear grips only those who do not fully trust that the Lord is with them. But those who trust in His presence live with courage. That is why the Bible repeatedly says: “Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not fear, I will help you. Do not fear, I will walk with you.”
Fear destroys success. But with courage and the Lord’s counsel, if you do your work faithfully, He will prosper it.
Perhaps you are saying, “I have grown old and my life is still unsettled. I don’t have a job. I don’t know how my future will turn out.” Do not be afraid. Keep your trust in the Lord. The Bible says, “Humble yourselves under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time.” At the right time, He will provide food, a job, a position, and income. All living creatures wait for Him, and when He opens His hand, they are satisfied with good things.
So today, as He gives, you will receive. Do you need financial help? Healing? Counsel? A breakthrough in a case? The Lord, who is called Ebenezer—the God who helps—will surely come to your aid. Whether in your family, job, ministry, business, or education, the Lord will give you the help you need.

Sister Ranjini from Tambaram says:
“Praise be to God! For a long time, my marriage was hindered. My uncle from Arcot, Vellore, attended the Anbarin Paathathil Oru Naal fasting meeting every month. He would write my prayer request and give it to Brother Stephen, continuously praying for my marriage. Through those prayers, first, I received salvation. Then, the Lord began to do miracles for me. My marriage hindrance was removed, and God conducted my marriage beautifully under Jesus’ headship. In the very same month, I conceived, and on June 13, 2025, the Lord blessed me with a beautiful son.”
See how wonderfully God worked in her life! Through the prayers offered, her family first received salvation, then miracles, then marriage blessings, and finally, the blessing of a child. Truly, for every man, salvation is the first blessing needed. Then, both spiritual and worldly blessings follow.
Prayer:
Loving Lord, we thank You. The help and aid they expect, may it come from heaven. Remove fear, Lord, and fill them with courage and the spirit of boldness. Whatever specific blessing they are waiting for—be it financial, healing, or family breakthroughs—grant it today in Jesus’ name.
Lord, bless those celebrating their birthdays and wedding anniversaries today. Let this promise word, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear,” be fulfilled throughout their year.
