July 16, 2026
Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you all this July 16th through this Auspicious word. May God bless you.
What is the Auspicious word the Lord has for us today? Let us read Psalm 9:9: “The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed.”
The Bible says that the Lord is a refuge for those who are oppressed. In the eyes of the world, the oppressed are often mocked, insulted, dishonored, and treated as insignificant. They are ignored and considered to have no value. But the way people see the oppressed is very different from the way God sees them. While people mock them, the Lord looks upon them with compassion. He shows them mercy and becomes their refuge.
Today, perhaps you have been searching for a job for a long time, looking for your own house, or praying for a good life partner, yet nothing has happened. You have grown weary and discouraged. Today, come into the presence of the Lord, who is a refuge for the oppressed. He will look upon you with mercy and perform a miracle in your life.
The Psalmist clearly declares, “The Lord will be a refuge for the oppressed.” If you seek refuge in Him today, He will surely answer you.
Hannah did exactly that. She came into the presence of God and cried, “Lord, look upon my affliction.” She came to the house of God, fell at the feet of the One who gives refuge, and prayed, “Lord, if You look upon my affliction and bless me with a son, I will dedicate him back to You.” The Lord did not bless her with only one child. He blessed her with many children and honored her greatly.
Today, if you have come to the Lord seeking refuge because of your oppression, He will carefully provide everything you need.
Testimony
“Praise be to God! My son, Samuel, went for an eye examination. The doctors found a small mole on the retina of his left eye that was growing. They feared it could be cancer and advised us to visit a specialized eye hospital immediately. In fear, I contacted the 24-hour God’s Love Ministries Prayer Tower for prayer and also sent a prayer request to Brother Stephen by email. After receiving the hospital appointment, I took my son there. While we were waiting, I received Brother Stephen’s prayer reply by email. As soon as I heard the notification, I opened it and read the Scripture, ‘By His wounds you are healed.’ Immediately, faith filled my heart, and I believed that God had already healed my son. I made a vow that I would testify if the Lord performed a miracle. After three detailed scans, the doctors told us, ‘Do not be afraid. It is not cancer,’ and they gave us the medical report. Praise be to God!”
The Lord who became a refuge for Samuel during that difficult moment will also become your refuge today.
Prayer
Loving Lord, we thank You. You have promised, “The Lord will be a refuge for the oppressed.” Lord, look upon every child who is Auspicious word with tears and a heavy heart. Many have been treated as insignificant and have been oppressed by others. Today, look upon them with compassion.
Whatever area of life they are oppressed in, perform a miracle. We come to Your feet seeking refuge. Remember us, Lord. Work a miracle and make our names great.
Look upon our oppression and lift us to a place of honor. Look upon our oppression and bless those who are longing for children. Look upon our oppression and command prosperity in our lives. Look upon our oppression and deliver Your children from deadly diseases. Perform miracles and glorify Your name.
May this Auspicious word be fulfilled in the lives of Your children from this very moment. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
