My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Psalms 145:18, “The Lord is near unto all of them that call upon Him, to all that call Him in truth.”
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, The Lord is near unto all of them that call upon Him not only by His presence, but He remains close beside, to sympathize and show His favour. God does not leave praying men, and men who confess His name to battle with the world alone, but he is ever at their side. His favour is not only for those who invoke him but for each one who are pious. All those who call upon His name in supplication shall find him to be a very present help in trouble. We need to call upon Him in truth and to pray in truth, we must have a true heart, and we need to be humble and be earnest in prayer. Being a God of truth, He never forsakes the work of His own hands.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, To call upon the name of the Lord, implies right faith , to have right trust in Him, learning to lean upon Him with right devotion. To call upon God in truth is to have implicit confidence in the faithfulness of His promise. The Lord said, “What things you desire when you pray believe that you receive them, and you shall have them.” Our hearts desire then becomes an integral part of genuine and effectual prayer. God’s people are praying people, a generation of seekers. They seek His face, righteousness, and strength, and He is found by them. Some in order to seek God, run to the rocks , hills and mountains, but a child of God goes only to the father and lays open his request. Just as Hezekiah called unto the Lord his God, when Rabshakeh came against him, saying O Lord, “I am oppressed undertake for me.”
Dear Brothers and Sisters, call upon the Lord saying, “Be thou our arm every morning and our salvation in time of trouble.”For the Lord is near unto all of them that call upon Him. He will fulfill their desire, He will hear their cry. That God who prepares his people’s heart to pray prepares also his own ear to hear. He who has promised to hear before we call will never fail to listen when we cry unto Him. Therefore call upon Him in truth.

Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Dear Lord, we thank you because you sympathize and show favor to those who call upon you. You are ever at our side. Make us be more pious and reverent to God. Teach us to be humble and be earnest in prayer. Help us to lean upon God with the right devotion and in faithfulness.
