The Lord Delights to Bless - Bro. T. Stephen

Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you all this morning, the 14th of December, through this Auspicious word. May God bless you.

Today, as children of God eagerly await the Auspicious word, the Lord speaks to us from Numbers 24:1: “It pleased the LORD to bless Israel.”

It is the Lord’s eternal desire to bless you. It does not please Him to see you suffer.

In some families, due to anger, ego, or unresolved conflicts, a husband may feel pleased to see his wife suffer, or a wife may feel pleased to see her husband suffer. Sometimes, even children may think negatively toward their parents when their wishes are not fulfilled. But children of God should not carry such thoughts. Even when someone hurts us, the Lord desires us to respond with love and prayer, saying, “Lord, let no harm come to them.” This is the heart of a true Christian life.

But look at our God—it pleased the LORD to bless Israel. When you do well, the first One who rejoices is the Lord Himself. As this year comes to an end, the Lord has already made arrangements for your life. He has thought deeply about what will bring joy to your heart, what will lift you out of darkness, sorrow, and depression. The plans He has for you are not for evil but for good, to give you a hopeful and blessed future. Like Mary, submit yourself to the Lord and say, “Let it be unto me according to Your will.” When you submit yourself to His plans, the Lord will do great things.

Testimony

One child of God shared that they were struggling to get a good job and had sent applications to many places without any response. At that time, they sent a prayer request to Brother Stephen through email. Brother prayed and replied. After receiving that prayer, they received a call for an interview from a very good company. They cleared all three rounds of the interview and immediately received the offer letter. By the grace of God, they joined the job. The same Lord who was pleased to bless them will open such doors for you too.

Prayer

Loving Lord, we thank You. You said that it pleased You to bless us. Let this word not only satisfy our ears but fill our hearts with joy. Begin today the good plans You have prepared for our lives. Help them to be settled in life, to build their homes, save wisely, and live securely. I bless them in Jesus’ name. Even today, we remember those who are celebrating their birthday and wedding day. According to this Auspicious word, may goodness and mercy follow them throughout this whole year.
