My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Numbers 23:21, “The Lord His God is with him and the shout of a king is among them.”
My dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above context we understand that the people of Israel did commit sin. But God had no intention to punish them. Instead He forgave them of their sinful nature. In fact God hid His face from sin. God blotted out all their transgressions and has cast them behind His back and into the depths of the sea. The Lord was pleased with them as they did not worship the idols. And this restricted God from cursing the people of Israel.
The Lord was with Baalam the prophet. Though King Balak invited Prophet Balaam to curse the people of Israel, The Lord intervened, and changed the heart of Balaam and he obeyed God. As a result God made Balaam to bless the twelve tribes of Israel. He remembered how, God brought them out of Egypt in a marvellous manner and strengthened them like a wild ox. Balaam realized that the God of Israel was in the midst of them. “The Lord God was with Balaam and the shout of the King was felt among them. ”God changed their curse into a blessing.
Dear Brothers and Sisters, If the King who was in the midst of Israel comes into your homes then all your sorrows , your grief, pain, sickness and woes will be driven away from your homes. Today the King wants to visit your homes. Are you willing to receive Him? If you receive Him who is the king of kings and the Lord of Lords then there will be a great transformation in your lives. Experience the Presence of God in your lives. You will enjoy peace and harmony.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank You for being in the midst of us and operating our lives in the way You have planned it to be. Lord intervene in our lives and change our curse into a blessing. Help us to do the will of God and not be self oriented. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
