The Great Light - Bro. T. Stephen

I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The Blessed word that the Lord   has given for you today is from the book of Acts 3:6-8, ” Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk . And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.”

From the above context we learn about a man, who was lame by birth.  In the midst of many needs in his life he was sitting at the Beautiful Gate, begging for alms. He could not do anything by himself.  He had to depend upon someone else to help him meet his need to shift him from one place to another. Life was miserable to him. He wondered as to when this situation will come to an end. He would have been crying over his pitiable situation. It was then that he noticed the disciples, Peter and John going  up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, and the  lame man who was  lame  from his birth was carried, by someone  and was usually  laid at the     gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms  from  those  that entered into the temple. Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple the lame man, stretched out his hands and asked for alms. And Peter, fixing his eyes upon him with John, said, look on us.And the lame man   listened   unto them, expecting to receive something from   them. Then Peter said, unto him we don’t have Silver and Gold but what we have, we will give, you.  In the name of Jesus Christ, of Nazareth, rise up and walk.

And Peter took the lame man,  by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God:And all the people who came to the temple, knew that it was the lame man, who sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at the incident or the miracle which had happened unto him, by the disciples. Are you like the lame man sitting and crying over your helpless situation, that you cannot do anything without the help of anyone. God suddenly changed his entire situation because he thought it was enough that he suffered as a lame man begging for food and alms. God sent his disciples John and Peter to deliver him from that horrible situation. They did not have silver or gold to offer him to meet his needs but they gave him something more than he could think of. God gave him an opportunity for him to walk and run and live joyfully like other men and women. He will not be sitting at the temple gate anymore begging for food rather he would go out and work to earn his lively hood.

God   wants to revive you from    your difficult situation. Many of you are suffering from Arthritis, but today God is healing you from your pain. He is strengthening every limb of yours that has failed to function properly. Just as God had planned that the lame man should not be begging for food, for the rest of his life, God made him walk. Likewise, I do not have silver or gold to give you, but I have Christ, with me which I wish to offer to you in the name of Jesus. When you have Jesus Christ within you then all that you do will be prosperous. In the name of Jesus of Nazareth, I bless you with a divine healing that your twisted legs might straighten and your hip bone which had been   causing much pain might be healed in the name of Jesus. You rise up and walk from all your sickness, your debts, your poverty state of life and from your laziness, from the demonic and evil spirit that has got hold of you in the name of Jesus. Let all forces of darkness come out of you and may you obtain that Great Light. God bless you.

Prayer:  Our loving heavenly Father, we thank   You   for this blessed day. Dear Lord, we   thank You because of your   unfailing love, your grace and mercy.  Thank you Lord, for healing our bones which were weak. We praise Your holy name for restoring our health and strengthening every area of our life with Your power, that we might be able to work and earn our livelihood and not be begging. Thank You for enabling us   to walk and run and live joyfully.

In Jesus Name We Pray.

Amen.
