October 23, 2026
Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the matchless name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. On this October 23rd, I am very happy to meet you all through the Auspicious word. May the Lord bless you!
What is the Mangala Vaarthai for us today? Let us read Psalm 5:12: “For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favour You will surround him as with a shield.”
Karunyam means loving-kindness, favour, grace, or compassion. It signifies that our God is full of grace. This verse declares that the Lord surrounds us with His favour as with a shield. When the shield of His favour surrounds you, the attacks of the devil cannot prevail against you. Occult powers and sorcery cannot harm you, and every weapon formed against you shall fail to prosper.
If you want to claim the promise that there is no enchantment against Jacob and no divination against Israel, you must remain under the Lord’s favour, which surrounds you like a protective shield. Every day, the enemy constantly shoots arrows and hurls darts against you. Yet, the shield of the Lord’s favour protects you so that these attacks cannot harm you.
Therefore, make a decision today. Tell the Lord, “Lord, beyond the miracles I know You have performed for me, Your favour has surrounded me as a shield and worked countless miracles behind the scenes. For this, I offer You my praise and thanksgiving.” Cultivate the habit of praising the Lord in this way. If you wonder what the Lord has done for you, remember how He has shielded you with His favour, preventing the enemy’s arrows from destroying you and the evil schemes and sorcery of wicked people from ruining your life. You must thank the Lord for preserving you!
Today, through this shield of favour, the Lord will place a hedge of protection around you, your household, and everything you possess. As a result, your possessions will increase in the land, and from now on, you will gather an abundance of leftovers.
Testimony
Sister Stella Santhosh from Ranipet shares her testimony:
“I suffered from extreme dizziness. Whether I walked, sat, or lay down, my head kept spinning continuously. Amid great weakness and suffering, I attended the Shaemam Fasting Prayer meeting at the God’s Love Ministries Prayer Tower in Chennai. At the end of the meeting, Brother Stephen laid his hands on my head and prayed. From that very moment, the dizziness completely ceased, and by the grace of God, I am now in good health.”
She came in faith, and when the wounded hand of Jesus joined with Brother Stephen’s hand and touched her, the Lord granted her an instant miracle! Today, our Shaemam Fasting Prayer meetings are held at four locations: Coimbatore, Mumbai, Nagercoil, and Chennai. You, too, can attend these meetings. May the Lord perform wonders in your life!
Prayer
Loving Lord, we thank You. We pray that You will grant an instant miracle to everyone. Surround them with the shield of Your favour and preserve them. Shield and protect them from dangers, accidents, pestilences, and the schemes of the enemy. Cause them to ride upon the high places of the earth.
Look with favour upon all those celebrating their birthdays and wedding anniversaries today. May this word, “The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty,” be fulfilled in their lives from this very moment. In Jesus’ name, Heavenly Father, we pray. Amen.
