Beloved children of God, I greet you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you this 21st February through this Auspicious word. May God bless you richly.
Let us read from Second Epistle to the Chronicles 1:12: “I will give you riches and wealth and honor.”
Today, the Triune God promises you three things: riches, wealth, and honor. Riches means money and financial blessing. Wealth means possessions and lasting prosperity. Honor means a good name, respect, and recognition. The Lord will also give you the strength to earn and sustain these blessings.
My beloved children of God, if you move away from the Lord who gives riches, wealth, and honor, these blessings can become uncertain in your life. If today they seem like a question mark, perhaps you have drifted away from the God who blesses.
Return to Him today. Pray, “Lord, I have made mistakes. Forgive me. I come back and fall at Your feet. As You promised, grant me riches, wealth, and honor. Help me live on this earth with dignity and joy.”
If you have gone away from worshiping God or have been doing what displeases Him, especially during this Lenten season, run back to His presence. Say, “Lord, I have sinned against You. I have failed You. Forgive me.” When you surrender sincerely, the Lord will create a new plan for your life and restore what you have lost.
Whatever wealth you have lost, the Lord will make arrangements to restore it. Those who withheld what belongs to you will return it. The name and honor that were damaged will be restored. The Lord will give you a good reputation once again.
Testimony
A grandfather was suffering from severe back pain. After hospital examination, doctors said his spinal cord was injured and immediate surgery was required. A prayer request was sent, and prayer was offered with the word that not one bone would be damaged. By God’s grace, without surgery, the grandfather received miraculous healing. Later medical reports showed that the injured bones had naturally rejoined. The Lord performed a miracle. The same God can do it for you.
Prayer
Loving Lord, we thank You. We submit into Your hands those who are in poverty, those who have lost riches and wealth, and those whose name and honor have been damaged. Bring them back under Your protection. Keep them in the shadow of Your wings. Restore the wealth they have lost. Intervene in their matters and bless them.
Restore their good name and reputation. Lift them up and make them sit with princes and kings.
For those who feel ashamed because they do not have the blessing of a child, remove their reproach. Just as You remembered Rachel and blessed her, open closed wombs and grant the gift of children. Let them live with dignity in society.
Today, we also pray for those celebrating their birthdays and wedding anniversaries. Look upon them and bless them. According to Your Word, may this entire year be one in which the world declares that they are a generation blessed by the Lord.
