My dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Today the special word of God for you is taken from the book of Proverbs 9:10, “For the Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.”
Dear Brothers and Sisters, Tomorrow is May 1ST. “Laborer’s Day.” Before you enter into this new day, that is to day the 30th of April, I desire that you equip yourself with what God wants to give you and thus help your life to be successful. God wants to place the gift of Wisdom, upon your head before you enter into the new month. It Is wisdom in a man that causes one to be an achiever in this world. But to whom does He give this wisdom. He gives to those who fear Him. If you receive this gift then you will be a great man from tomorrow. You will be a great achiever in this world. You will shake this world with the gift of God, “The Wisdom.” Of course you spend a lot of money and go to school and college and get education, this depends upon your knowledge. But wisdom is not like that, it is a gift given to those who fear the Lord. What the knowledge you get through education cannot do, wisdom can do. But what wisdom can do knowledge or education cannot do. When you compare knowledge gained from books with wisdom, you will see that an uneducated with wisdom will be able to achieve greater things than an educated person. Such a person will be successful in his life. Without wisdom you will not be able to achieve much with education alone. Because, if you think that you can do everything with the external worldly knowledge, you will not be able to achieve. You will achieve to some extent but somewhere you will get caught. So wisdom is very important. For Jesus Himself, wisdom and favor from God and man was necessary. So how much more it is necessary for you and me.
Wisdom will help you to discern from what is good and bad. A man may be well educated but we have heard people say, “He is an educated man but behaves foolishly.” Whom will people refer to as educated fool, one who does not have wisdom? Wisdom is necessary to know, when one should speak and how he should speak. How he should behave before others. And he will be able to discern between the good and bad through wisdom. Therefore without wisdom you will not be successful. You can simply run your life. If you look for yourself, you will understand that all educated people have not done well in life. But who along with wisdom and education will do much better in life. The one who runs without wisdom will run like a lame horse. Ask God for this wisdom. For the Bible says, “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” So you need to fear the Lord to receive this wisdom. And ask God for this gift of wisdom. Then you shall receive wisdom and be successful in life.
Prayer: Dear Lord we thank You. We thank you for blessing us to cross four months of this year 2023. Even as we prepare ourselves to enter into the new month, Lord grant the gift of wisdom to all the children who lack wisdom, for lack of wisdom they are unable to achieve great things in life. Lack of wisdom has been a hindrance to their progress. Thank you Lord for giving them the gift of wisdom that in the coming days they will shine as great achievers. Lord in case there are children who do not fear the Lord and continue to live in sin, meet them and give them a heart to fear you. We pour the spirit of prayer upon them and intercede for them. Grant them the knowledge to discern between good and bad through this wisdom. May the Lord who blessed Solomon with wisdom and riches bless these people, also with such wisdom. I pray that You will help them to live with name and fame, as great achievers in this world and prosper in life.
