Power, Love, and a Sound Mind - Bro. T. Stephen

Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you all on this 7th February through this Auspicious word. May God bless you abundantly.

What is the Auspicious word the Lord has for you today? Let us read 2 Timothy 1:7: “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

The Lord has not given you a spirit of fear or weakness. He has given you the Spirit of power, the Spirit of love, and the Spirit of a sound mind. He has not given you a dull or confused mind, but a clear and disciplined mind. Today, the Holy Spirit—who brings all these three blessings—is descending upon you.

Power means divine strength. Love means a spiritually enriched life that overflows with grace and generosity. A sound mind means clarity, wisdom, and stability. Today, the Lord is releasing all three into your life.

In many families, children are preparing for public examinations. In some homes, young people are preparing for government job exams, semester exams, or annual exams. The Lord is giving strength today to write your exams well. Many students experience weakness only during exam time. Some young girls suffer severe stomach pain or discomfort due to bleeding and cry, saying they have no strength or focus to write their exams. Others say that during this time headaches, wheezing, colds, or sickness suddenly appear, as if pre-planned. Today, the Lord says He is giving you the Spirit of power—to write exams well, to work effectively, and to fulfill your responsibilities with strength.
Some say, “When I get ready to go to work, weakness comes,” or “When I prepare for ministry, weakness overtakes me.” Not anymore. A powerful anointing of the Holy Spirit is descending upon you right now. When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, He strengthens you.

Secondly, the Spirit of love is being poured out. This is the Holy Spirit who enables you to forgive, to unite with others, and to love those you once found difficult to love. In your place of education, work, or ministry—where you struggled to show love—the Lord is now giving you a heart filled with divine love.

Thirdly, the Lord is giving you a sound mind. To live well, to study well, and to serve effectively, a sound mind is essential. Many struggle with confusion and double-mindedness—constantly wavering and unable to make firm decisions. From today onward, the Lord is giving you a clear, focused, and steady mind. You will know what to write, what to choose, and how to move forward. You will excel in your respective fields, and people will say, “These are people who make an impact.” The Lord will surely do a miracle for you.
Those preparing for public exams—daily place your hand on your head, declare this verse, pray, and then study or go to write your exam. Parents, bless your children with this verse before sending them for exams. February is a stressful month as examinations begin, but the Lord will do great things.

Testimony

“I got married at the age of 34, and for 15 years I did not receive the blessing of a child. Every day I lived with tears, shame, and humiliation. In deep distress and discouragement, I participated in the Anbarin Paathathil Oru Naal meeting. The message preached by Brother Stephen and the prayers offered brought comfort to my heart. During the individual prayer at the end of the meeting, Brother Stephen spoke a Mangala Vaarthai, prayed for me, blessed me, and sent me. The Lord heard that prayer, and at the age of 48, I conceived. By God’s grace, I delivered a beautiful baby girl through normal delivery.”

Prayer

Loving Lord, we thank You. Thank You for today’s Anbarin Paathathil meeting. Bring multitudes of Your children to worship You first and to receive Your Word wholeheartedly. For all who come, no matter how many, perform mighty miracles. Bless the family sponsoring today’s meal. May Your anointing, love, strength, and sound mind be upon the food served. Let sickness be healed and deadly diseases be transformed. May all who partake be comforted and strengthened.

Even now, Lord, look upon those celebrating their birthdays and wedding anniversaries today. May this Auspicious word be fulfilled in their lives throughout this year. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
