My dear Brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you , today is from the book of 1 Peter 5:7 says, “Casting all your cares upon Him for He cares for you.”
From the above context we learn that Humility preserves peace and order in the life of mankind, but pride disturbs them. Where God gives grace to be humble, he will give wisdom, faith, and holiness. When we are humble, and be reconciled to our God, then it will bring greater comfort to the soul than the gratification of pride and ambition. But we need to humble ourselves in due season and not in your own fancied time, but God’s own wisely appointed time. To obtain the firm belief of his wisdom, power, and goodness you need to humble yourself under his hand. Cast all you care; personal cares, family cares, cares for the present, and cares for the future, for yourselves, for others, upon God. But these are burdensome, and often very sinful, when they arise from unbelief and distrust, when they torture and distract the mind, makes us unfit for duties, and hinder our delight in the service of God.
The whole design of Satan is to devour and destroy souls. He is always, contriving whom he may ensnare to eternal ruin. Our duty then, must plainly, be sober; to govern both the outward and the inward man by the rules of temperance. To be vigilant; suspicious of constant danger from this spiritual enemy, watchful and diligent to prevent his designs. Be steadfast, or solid, by faith. A man cannot fight when there is no s firm ground, to tread upon; this faith alone furnishes. It lifts the soul to the firm advanced ground of the promises, and fixes it there. It is this faith alone that encourages us to bear our share in any affliction; and in whatever form Satan assaults us.
While reading this message God speaks into your heart that you should cast all your cares upon the Lord and be at peace. For God is bigger than the problem you go through. For this is how one day Jesus stood on the shores of Siberian Sea, waiting to meet his disciples, and He saw Peter, and other disciples fishing, and asked them if they had caught any fish, because they could not catch any fish the entire night. The Lord Jesus prepared cooked fish for them for breakfast, He took it up and served to them. God firstly enquires their problems and then satisfies them. When God served them the fish they were filled with joy. Apostle Paul narrates, some of the difficulties he endured during his missionary journey. He says, “ I have been constantly on the move. I have been in danger from rivers, in danger from bandits, in danger from my fellow Jews, in danger from Gentiles; in danger in the city, in danger in the country, in danger at sea; and in danger from false believers. I have laboured and toiled and have often gone without sleep; I have known hunger and thirst and have often gone without food; I have been cold and naked. Besides everything else, I face daily the pressure of my concern for all the churches. Paul speaks about the difficulties he faced during his spiritual journey. Only God’s children can turn problems into a victory.
Today God is taking steps to comfort you, especially your financial crisis. God is going to give you a breakthrough in your financial situation. The Bible says.“ Therefore I say, to you, do not worry, about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body. What you will put on. Is not life more than food. And the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow, nor reap. Nor gather into barns. Yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? God who provides for the birds, will he not, provide your needs. God knows your needs. God is meeting your financial needs. God is going to give a new project, to those who have completed your project, and you have been asked to return to your homeland from abroad, God will open a new way for you. So don’t get discouraged. God will build you and not pull you down, He will plant you and not pluck you down. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord, teach us to cast all our burdens upon God and be at peace. Help us to be self satisfied and not worry about our food or about tomorrow. But that may we depend upon the Lord for his providence.
In Jesus name we pray,
Amen.
