Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! Today’s auspicious word is taken from the book of Lamentations 3:22, “His mercies never cease.” Our God has many names, and one of them is Merciful God — the God of Mercy. Another beautiful verse says, “As He shows mercy, the One who shows mercy on you will lead you to the spring.” Today is a day when God’s unlimited mercy will come upon your life.
Think of the Canaanite woman who came crying to Jesus, saying, “Lord, show me mercy.” Jesus heard her cry and healed her demon-possessed daughter. A father cried, “Lord, have mercy on my son,” and the Lord delivered his child. When Bartimaeus, blind from birth, cried out, “Son of David, have mercy on me,” Jesus showed mercy, restored his sight, and honoured him. All these miracles happened because of God’s great mercy.
Today, are you in tears because you don’t have a job? God, in His mercy, will lead you. He will place you in a good government job, a bank job, a railway job. He will lift you up as a military officer, a police officer, even an IAS officer. Because of His mercy, He will take you to the nation of your desire, bless you with citizenship, a good job, and settlement.
Let us now read a testimony. Sister Jasmine from Coimbatore shares: “A great weakness came over my body. I couldn’t bend the fingers on my right hand. Loving Lord, we thank You. According to Your word, “His mercies never cease”, we thank You for Your endless mercy. Lord, show mercy and provide a good spring for Your children — bless them with good jobs, choose a good life partner for them, grant them peaceful family lives. Lord, show mercy and help them build their own house. Open closed wombs and make them joyful mothers. Show mercy and cancel every debt. Bless their business, job, and ministry with divine progress. As You are merciful, lead them and make them stand in a good place. We thank You, Lord.
Today, for all those celebrating their birthdays or wedding anniversaries, we bless them with Psalm 3:8, “Salvation belongs to the Lord. Your blessing is upon Your people.” Let this Mangala Vaarthai be fulfilled in their lives throughout the year.
