Hope and Prayer - Bro. T. Stephen

Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you all on this day, October 31st, the last day of this month, through this Auspicious word. May God bless you!

So, on this last day of the month, as our hearts overflow with gratitude, the Lord meets us with a wonderful Mangala Vaarthai from Romans 12:12 — “Be rejoicing in hope, continuing steadfastly in prayer.”

Hope and prayer — these two are powerful truths that Apostle Paul wrote to the church in Rome, and through this verse, God is speaking the same to you today.

In a person’s life, hope is very important. No matter what happens, never let go of your faith in God. Job declared, “Though He slay me, yet will I hope in Him.” That steadfast hope brought restoration to Job — God gave him double for everything he lost. His sorrow turned into a season of blessing and peace.

Can you also say today, “Though He slay me, yet will I hope in Him”?
Even if I don’t receive a job — I will hope in Him.
Even if my marriage is delayed — I will hope in Him.
Even if I do not have a child yet — I will hope in Him.

That same hope will restore everything you’ve lost. The Bible says, “Return to your fortress, you prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you.” (Zechariah 9:12).

Another key that brings victory in life is prayer. Do you know what prayer is? It’s simply talking to God — telling Him your troubles and opening your heart to Him.

If the spirit of prayer has been lost in your life, today the Lord is bestowing on you a fresh spirit of prayer. From now on, you will pray and prevail!

When you go for an interview, pray — “Lord, You can help me. I believe in You.” When hope and prayer unite, no one in this world can shake you.

Pray in faith: “Lord, I believe that this year my marriage will take place.” “Lord, I believe that this month I will conceive.” When you thank God in hope—calling things that are not as though they were—He will surely make them come to pass.

Testimony

A sister named Philomena shared this testimony:
“I have been attending the Anbarin Paathathil Oru Naal fasting prayer meetings for the past two years. On July 5, 2025, during the individual prayer time, I prayed with Brother Stephen for a job. He prayed earnestly and said prophetically, ‘The Lord has prepared a chair for you.’

What a miracle! As Brother said, on July 7, 2025, I received a government job! When I joined, I found a newly prepared cabin, chair, and table waiting for me — exactly as the Lord had spoken!”
Hallelujah! Within just two days, God fulfilled His promise.

Prayer

Loving Lord, we thank You. Lord, I pray that You will do miracles for each one. Restore hope where it has been lost; revive the spirit of prayer within them. Let hope and prayer join together and bring miracle after miracle in their lives.

For every heart that has waited long and grown weary, let their desires be fulfilled in Jesus’ name.
As this month ends, Lord, grant the good results my children are expecting. For You have said, “I know the plans I have for you—plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope.” Let that promise be fulfilled.

Bless those celebrating their birthday or wedding anniversary today. May this entire year be filled with miracles and joy.
In Jesus’ name we pray,
Amen.
