Goodness and Mercy Shall Follow You - Bro. T. Stephen

Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you on this day, October 29th, through this Auspicious word. May God bless you.

What is the Auspicious word the Lord has for us today? The Lord gives us a beautiful promise from Psalm 23:6 —
“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.”

The psalmist declares that all the days of his life—that is, as long as he lives—goodness and mercy will follow him. When the Lord Himself is our Shepherd, goodness and mercy will continually follow us.

Until yesterday, perhaps poverty, trials, sickness, and sorrow followed you. Your home might have seen continuous bad news, losses, and shame. But today, the Lord puts a full stop to all of that. From this day forward, as long as you live, goodness and mercy shall follow you.

That means everything that worked against you until yesterday will turn for your good. In places where you were told, “You are not eligible” or “You have no chance,” the mercy of God will go before you, make you eligible, and lift you up to a place of honor.

Goodness and mercy always come together in the Bible. When they follow you, you will be seated among kings and princes and be admired. According to this verse, when the Lord is your Shepherd, He will make you lie down in green pastures, and you shall lack nothing.

Do not think about your past or dwell on former troubles. From this day onward, the Lord Himself will go before you and do many good things for you. Poverty and failure that chased you until yesterday will be replaced by goodness and mercy that will follow you and bless you continually.

Testimony

My mother had been suffering from BP and diabetes for 15 years and was under medical treatment. Suddenly, her body became weak, and her condition grew critical. We admitted her to the hospital, but the doctor said, “We cannot treat her anymore; the medicines are no longer working.”

In that desperate situation, I attended the Anbarin Paathathil Oru Naal fasting meeting and shared my mother’s condition with Brother Stephen. He prayed earnestly for her. After that prayer, by the grace of God, new strength entered my mother’s body, and she was completely healed.

By the Lord’s mercy, she was able to attend the Anbarin Paathathil Oru Naal fasting meetings for the past two months—July and August. Even when doctors gave up, the Lord healed her completely!

Prayer

Loving Lord, we thank You. According to Your promise, let goodness and mercy follow every person. Let their sickness, sorrow, debt, shame, and failure turn into joy, blessing, and success.

May goodness, mercy, riches, wealth, and godly descendants follow their lives hereafter. Let them no longer borrow but become a nation that lends.

Let all pending blessings be released one after another. Remove every barrier and let Your glory be revealed in their lives. Break every bondage of sickness and strengthen them to walk and run like a wild ox.

We also pray for those celebrating their birthdays and wedding anniversaries today. May this Mangala Vaarthai be fulfilled in their lives throughout this year.
In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.
