I greet and bless you all in the matchless name of our maker and creator Jesus Christ who will never forget us. Even as you read this blessed word, your spiritual eyes will be opened, and you will have visions of angels in your home. Unexpected blessings will come in search of you! God sends angels with special orders to protect you wherever you go, defending you from all harm, they will be there for you and keep you from stumbling (Psalm 91:11,12). Your days of mourning shall come to an end (Isaiah 60:20).
“Behold, I send an Angel before you to keep you in the way and to bring you into the place which I have prepared”(Exodus 23:20).
An angel sent by God during this Christmas season will be on a mission to bring good news of great joy.
A group of tired shepherds after having toiled the whole day grazing their sheep were warding off the cold of the night by sitting in front of the fire. Suddenly the heavens were opened, and an Angel came down – seeing this they were terrified. Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.”
Again, the heavens were opened and now a multitude of angels came down. These angels are referred to as “Heavenly hosts”. They were praising God, “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”(Luke 2:10-14).
Yes, there will be good news which will bring great joy to everyone in your family. Peace will be born in your families.
Beloved, December is a month where we praise our God. Let us recollect every blessing we have received from God these past 11 months and thank and praise God. This will release more good events and blessings from our Lord in the coming year.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank you for always being as ‘Immanuel’, removing their solitude, saving them, and prospering them. Make them ecstatic by being born during this Christmas season in their hearts and homes. Let your grace help them to joyfully celebrate this Christmas as a family.
