February 5, 2026
Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you all this February 5th through the Auspicious word. May God bless you all abundantly.
What is the Auspicious word the Lord has for us today? Psalm 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
The Word of God is a lamp to a person’s feet and a light to their path. Just as a torchlight protects one from snakes, poisonous insects, and hidden traps, the Word of God safeguards our lives from deception and danger. It lights the path before us and guides us in the right direction.
What a beautiful verse this is. The Word of God is not only a lamp for the place where you stand, but also a light for the path you must travel ahead. As you walk in that light, you become a child of light, and your future too becomes bright. When a person looks to the God of light—the Father of lights—their life begins to shine. The Word of God and God Himself are one. His Word brings clarity, direction, repentance, and transformation.
Today, parents who are worried about their children—children who love darkness, who stay isolated, who do not go to school, college, or work—take hold of this word and pray: “Lord Jesus, be a lamp to my child’s feet and a light to their path.” As you declare this in faith, the Lord will bring your child out of darkness into light. He will clear their mind, remove depression and anxiety, and give them renewed purpose and progress. This Word brings a new life and a new opportunity.
Some of you may be saying, “My life is over.” Do not be afraid. Hold on to this verse and pray, “Lord, Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Show me where I should go and help me reach my destination.” The Lord will beautifully arrange your life, give you a good job, and grant you a bright future. Parents who fear that their children’s future is ruined—bless them with this Word today, and the Lord will surely do great things.
Testimony
I was very weak when I went to the doctor. After examination, he told me that both my kidneys had failed and that dialysis had to begin immediately. A date was fixed. Before that day arrived, I attended the Anbarin Paathathil meeting. I was so weak that I could hardly walk. At the end of the meeting, I asked Brother Stephen to pray for me. He prayed with tears, asking the Lord to heal me. The Lord heard that prayer and granted me miraculous healing. When I went for another medical examination, the doctor said dialysis was no longer required because my kidneys had started functioning normally.
Prayer
Loving Lord, we thank You. In the name of Jesus, I greet and bless my children. According to today’s Mangala Vaarthai, grant them a bright future, a bright life, a bright job, a bright education, and a fruitful ministry. Let them prosper in all things and be in good health. Look upon the children celebrating their birthday and wedding day today. May this Mangala Vaarthai be fulfilled in their lives throughout this year. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
