Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you through this Auspicious word on this 7th of March. May God bless you.
What is the Auspicious word for us today? Let us read 1 John 5:4: “This is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”
In this world, winning a race alone is not victory. Passing an exam alone is not victory. Even succeeding in life alone is not the complete victory. Beyond all these things, overcoming the world is the true victory.
The world includes not only the world itself but also everything in it—the flesh and the devil. If a person overcomes the world, the flesh, and Satan, he will surely be counted among the true victors.
If anyone wants to overcome this world, he must overcome his flesh. He must control his five senses. He must control his lusts and desires. Only such faith can overcome the world. When a person lives like this, the Lord prepares a place for him in heaven and will make him sit in His glorious kingdom.
Today the Lord says, our faith is the victory that overcomes the world. This means that first there must be faith within you that you can overcome the world, the flesh, and Satan.
You must believe that in every situation the Lord will lead you in victory. In your studies, He will lead you in victory. In your ministry, He will lead you in victory. In your spiritual life, you will live victoriously by the grace of God. Do not speak negatively. Before writing an exam, do not say, “I will not pass.” Before going to a race, do not say, “I will not win.” Before going to an interview, do not say, “I will not get the job.” Do not speak negative words. Instead, develop faith and positive confidence today. That is true faith. Throw away every negative thought in the name of Jesus.
Let faith fill your whole being—your mind, body, nerves, and spirit. When faith lives within you, you will surely win. If you do not have faith and confidence, you may lose. Therefore, you must rise to the top in your field. To live victoriously and stand in the highest place, increase your level of faith today. Have unshakable hope in the Lord, and He will do great things.
Testimony
A sister participated in the APO fasting meeting and prayed for a shop to start a business. During the individual prayer, she asked Brother Stephen to pray for her. While praying, he said, “You will expand to the left and to the right.” He gave this Mangala Vaarthai and blessed her.
Prayer
Loving Lord, we thank You. In Jesus’ name I bless these children. You have said, “This is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”
Lord, those who have lost hope and those who are discouraged—strengthen them today. Help them to take up the shield of faith and receive victory.
Those who speak negatively, saying, “I cannot do anything… I will not succeed… I am not qualified… I do not have the ability”—Lord, reveal to them the abilities and gifts You have placed within them. Strengthen their faith so that they may accomplish great things.
I bless them wholeheartedly. Thank You, Lord, for doing miracles.
Finally, look upon the children who are celebrating their birthday and wedding day today. According to this Auspicious word, may this whole year be a year of victory for them.
