God Rewards a Merciful Heart - Bro. T. Stephen

Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you this 5th of December through this Auspicious word. In this joyous month of Christmas, my Lord Jesus Christ is coming in search of you with a good Auspicious word.

Proverbs 19:17 says, “He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and He will pay back what he has given.”

The month of Christmas itself is a season of giving. God the Father gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, for us. We who have received Jesus should give Jesus to many. How can we give Him? By helping others, we reveal Jesus to them.

The Bible says that when we help someone in need, it is counted as helping the Lord. Through every act of kindness, we are giving Jesus to others. During Christmas, when we go to distribute gifts or food, we usually say, “Jesus asked us to give this to you.” Through this, many people taste the love of God. This is the mercy of the Lord.

Today, the Lord is reminding you: He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay. We should not give expecting something in return. Instead, we must understand that God has blessed us so we can bless others. If we are eating well, we must also feed someone who cannot. If we wear good clothes, we should also help someone who lacks. Those who are mindful of the needy are blessed, the Bible says.

You should also remember this: Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act. Some people find it difficult to identify those who are suffering. In that case, join hands with ministries that are helping the poor. Each year, through our Tender Hearts Ministries, we choose small villages where people lack basic needs and help them with food, clothing, education, and support.

Helping others is not only for Christmas—every month you can do it. My daughter Steffy gives to the poor faithfully every month, and I am proud of her.

Today the Lord is looking at you and saying: “You have a rented home to stay in, but many sleep inside large sewer pipes or on the roadside.” Think of them during this season. When you help the poor, heaven rejoices, and God is pleased.

Even if you are poor, when you help others, God will make you wealthy. Do not think that only the rich should give. The widow in the Bible gave all she had, and God honoured it. So help those around you—your sisters’ or brothers’ children who cannot afford their studies, anyone suffering near you. This is the true fulfilment of Christmas.

God says He has recorded every act of kindness in heaven, and He will repay you in blessings—overpressed, shaken together, and running over.

Testimony

I was suffering under the burden of debt. During that time, I attended the Anbarin Paathathil Oru Naal fasting meeting and prayed with Brother Stephen. During the prayer, brother prophetically declared that God would clear my debts and give me a permanent income. By God’s grace, the pending amount of 4,07,414 lakhs that I was supposed to receive was fully released, and the Lord helped me clear all my debts.

Prayer

Loving Lord, we thank You. You have said, “He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and He will pay back what he has given.” Bless the work of their hands. Open the heavens and make them prosper. May they increase, multiply, and expand in every area—wealth, descendants, income, and anointing. Do great things for them.

Even now, look upon the children who are celebrating their birthday and wedding day today. According to this Auspicious word, may miracles follow them throughout this whole year.
In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
