I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from Genesis 26; 12 & 13, “Isaac sowed during the famine, and he reaped a hundredfold, he began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous “.
This is how God blessed mankind in the Bible, “In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread (Genesis 3:19). Joseph nourished the entire nation of Egypt during famine (Genesis 47:15-17). He even provided for his brothers who had earlier thrown him in a pit and sold him to the Midianites (Genesis 47:12). Have you been in sorrow all these days? God is asking you to, “Go, and eat your bread with joy”. ‘Bread’ indicates that an ‘Income’ has been wrapped into it. It could mean a good income or a decent salary. Put your faith in these words, God will increase your earning capacity. Hallelujah!
The world today is facing a recession due to the Corona pandemic. Even as you read this Mangala Vaarthai let not your faith diminish. How should you pray now? “Lord it’s true this is a pandemic season. Isaac sowed during the famine, and he reaped a hundredfold, he began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous (Genesis 26:12, 13). Likewise bless me and my household.” God is mighty to raise and prosper you (Psalm 118:5).
Recently when I had gone to Nagercoil prayer tower a family of husband, wife and two children came to meet me. First the wife said, “I speak in tongues and pray for a long time every day.” But the husband said, “Even today morning we both fought before we came here. Many days we are not able to enjoy a family meal which my wife has prepared because there is continuous strife and misunderstanding between us. Moreover, during family prayer my wife will monopolize everything – be it singing songs, or reading the word, or praying. My children and I are just spectators of her hour-long family prayer time. God revealed the following instruction through me, “Family prayer time is not a one man’s show. Every member of the family must pray for the needs of the family like – family welfare, children’s education, their future, and the problems they encounter. The wife should pray for the husband’s needs and the husband for the wife’s requirements; this is how we inherit the blessings from God.” Thus, I prayerfully advised them. The wife immediately wept bitterly and sought forgiveness from the Lord, “So long the enemy has called out discord in our family prayer time. But thank God today He has opened my eyes.”
Dearly beloved, today God is blessing you. Be united as a family and pray for each other. God will surely bless you to eat your bread with joy and bless all the works of your hands!
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we praise and exalt Your holy Name. Help us to lead a good family life. Help us to join as a family and pray for each other’s need. Bless us to eat our bread with joy. In Jesus Name We Pray.
