Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you all this 6th of December through this Auspicious word. May God bless you.
What is the Auspicious word for us today? Mark 5:34 says, “Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”
There was a woman who had been suffering from an issue of blood for 12 long years. She had spent all her wealth seeking a cure, yet her condition did not improve. When she was deeply troubled and weary, she received the good news that Jesus was passing through her town. She made a firm decision: “Today, no matter what, no matter how crowded it is, I will press through and at least touch His garment. I will receive my healing.”
She believed that if she could only see Jesus, a miracle would happen. Even if she could not speak to Him, she believed that touching just the hem of His garment would be enough to deliver her. With such faith, she went into the midst of a huge crowd and, stretching out her hand, touched the hem of His garment with the tip of her fingers. Immediately, she felt healing flow into her body, and the bleeding she had endured for 12 years stopped at once. She knew within herself that a miracle had taken place.
At that moment, Jesus asked, “Who touched Me?” The disciples wondered why He would ask such a question when the crowd was pressing all around Him. But Jesus knew that someone had touched Him in faith, because He felt power flow out of Him. She received that power and was healed.
Trembling, she came and stood before Him. The Lord looked at her lovingly and called her “Daughter.” He did not rebuke her or question her actions. Instead, He said, “Daughter, go in peace.”
Why? Because for 12 years she had lived without peace. Her tranquillity was shattered by her suffering. Jesus restored her peace and said, “Be healed of your affliction.” From that moment onward, her trouble ended.
As the woman had her trouble for 12 years, maybe you have been carrying a burden for 12, 18, or even 20 years—childlessness, delayed marriage, debt, oppression, or any other challenge. Today, the Lord is coming for you. She touched His garment, but today He will touch you. Come with hope, and surely you will receive a miracle.
Testimony
“For 10 years, the plot we purchased was not registered in our name. The people involved kept cheating us after taking our money. I participated in the Anbarin Paathathil fasting meeting and cried out to God. At the end of the meeting, I prayed individually with Brother Stephen. After that prayer, by the grace of God, the registration was completed. The Lord also blessed my children’s studies and helped them succeed.”
Prayer
Loving Lord, we thank You. May every desire of their heart be fulfilled today. As You worked a miracle for Your daughter Jeyarani—who, after attending the meeting, immediately received the registration of her land—may similar miracles happen in every home.
Just as the woman with the issue of blood received healing after 12 long years of suffering, let diseases, pain, and longstanding troubles be removed as Your children receive today’s Auspicious word: “Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.” Let peace and divine tranquillity fill their lives.
Bless those celebrating their birthdays and wedding days today. May this Auspicious word be fulfilled in their lives as well.
