Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you on this day, October 1st, through this auspicious word. May God bless you.
“What is the Mangala Vaarthai the Lord has kept for us?” With faith, receive this promise from Haggai 2:19 – “From this day on I will bless you.”
Many of you may say, “For the past nine months I thought something good would happen, but nothing happened. I thought my marriage would take place, but it did not. I thought I would get a permanent job, but it did not happen. I expected the blessing of a child, but it did not come. I thought I would receive a promotion, but it did not come. For years I have lived in a rented house, expecting my own home, but that too has not happened. I hoped at least my debts would be cleared, but that did not happen either.”
Children of God, if you are saying, “Nothing has happened,” today the Lord gives you His word: “From this day on I will bless you.”
In the past, you planted a pomegranate tree but saw no fruit. You planted a fig tree, but it too gave no fruit. You tried planting grapes, hoping for some progress, but that also failed. Still, the Lord says: “From this day on, I will bless you.”
Some people live their whole life moving from one trial to another. When one attempt fails, they immediately jump into another. When that fails, they shift again. This cycle continues endlessly, and life is wasted in repeated trials. Beloved, it should not be so. Before making any effort, you must first sit in the presence of God and ask, “Lord, shall I do this? Is this Your will?”
Otherwise, your time, skills, money, and investments will be wasted in failed attempts. But if you seek God’s counsel before acting, there will be no unnecessary trial periods. When God approves your decision, His grace and support will go with you, and the matter will surely succeed.
Whether it is choosing a college, selecting a career, doing business, taking up a job abroad, going into ministry, or choosing a life partner—always ask the Lord first. His counsel will never bring loss, but rather grace, favour, and blessing.
If the Lord places you in a field, its harvest is guaranteed for you. If He gives you riches, He adds no sorrow with it. What God ordains for you will prosper. From today, the Lord says: “I will bless you.”
What blessing are you expecting today? A favourable court judgment? A healthy life? Healing from long-term sickness? Freedom from costly medical treatments? Deliverance from debt? Whatever your need may be, God’s mercy is coming to you today, and He will surely bless you.
Testimony
Sister Florence from Chennai shares her testimony:
“My daughter Sharon and I regularly attended the Anbarin Paathathil Oru Naal meeting every month and received prayers from Brother Stephen. By God’s grace and through those prayers, a suitable and loving groom was arranged for my daughter. On July 6th, 2022, her wedding took place with great joy.
My son-in-law works in Canada, and by 2023, my daughter too received her visa and joined him there. Brother Stephen visited Canada for ministry, and my daughter and son-in-law met him in person for prayer. Brother prayed earnestly for the blessing of a child, and by God’s grace, my daughter conceived. On September 2nd, 2024, she delivered a beautiful son.
The Lord also granted my husband and me a one-year visa to go to Canada and help our daughter. We are so grateful for these blessings.”
Beloved, the key to their blessing was their faithful participation in the Anbarin Paathathil Oru Naal meetings, receiving and claiming the Lord’s promises. At the right time, God arranged the marriage, provided the right life partner, blessed them with a child, and even made a way for the parents to join them in Canada.
Today, many who once attended these meetings in India are now settled in various countries. They have honoured their parents, built houses, purchased vehicles, and are living blessed lives—all rooted in the foundation they received through God’s word in these meetings.
Prayer
Loving Lord, we thank you bless every children. Those longing for marriage, children, jobs, visas, own houses, deliverance from debts, salvation, or anointing—grant them their heart’s desires. Let this month and this very week mark the beginning of guaranteed blessings in their lives.
Grant them permanent income, stable jobs, secured homes, and abundant provision, that they may lend and never borrow. For those suffering with sickness, stretch out Your merciful hand and heal them right now.
We bless those celebrating their birthdays and wedding anniversaries today. May this Mangala Vaarthai be fulfilled in their lives this whole year.
