From Shame to Double Honour - Bro. T. Stephen

Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you all on this April 13th through this Auspicious word. May God bless you.

Let us read the Auspicious word for today from Isaiah 61:7: “Instead of your shame you shall have double honour.”

Children of God, some of you may be saying, “I have no honour. My life has collapsed. My family has collapsed. My ministry or business has failed.” But today, the Lord who restores and establishes is looking at you and saying: in the very place where you stood in shame, with your head bowed down, He will establish you with double honour.

Whatever you are expecting—whether it is financial blessing, the blessing of a child, or spiritual anointing—the Lord will give it to you in double measure. In the past, you may have asked God for just one blessing. Like Hannah, who prayed for one child, the Lord not only answered her prayer but blessed her with more children. In the same way, the Lord will multiply your blessings.

If you ask for one touch, He can give you a double portion. If you seek His anointing, He can pour it out abundantly—even for generations. All that you have lost will be restored, and your life will overflow with blessings so that you will lend to many and not borrow.

In the past, you may have been insulted, shamed, or humiliated—perhaps by creditors, delays in marriage, sickness, or difficult situations. But in that very place, the Lord will bring honour, healing, and restoration. He will make your name great and turn your shame into testimony.

Testimony

A mother shared that her daughter had a painful abscess in her breast for over a year. After medical tests, it was diagnosed as cancer, and further treatment was advised. The mother was deeply afraid and burdened. That night, she watched a sermon, and through it, the Lord spoke: “Do not be afraid; this disease has been removed from the root.” Holding on to that word, she prayed. When the biopsy was repeated, the report came back normal—the abscess was completely removed. Her daughter was healed. The Lord confirmed His word with a miracle.

In the same way, today you have received the right word at the right time. The Lord will perform a miracle in your life too.

Prayer:

Loving Lord, we thank You. You have promised that instead of shame, Your children will receive double honour. For whatever situation they feel ashamed or discouraged, we place them before You.

In the very place where they bowed their heads in shame, lift them up and establish them with double honour. Break every barrier and perform miracles in their lives.

Turn their situations around and make their names great. Let them testify, “My Redeemer lives!”

Even now, look upon those who are celebrating their birthdays and wedding days today. From this moment, may this word be fulfilled in their lives. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
