March 9, 2026
Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you through this Auspicious word on this March 9th. May God bless you.
What is the Auspicious word for us today? Let us read from Book of Isaiah 60:22: “A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation.”
What does this mean? Some people may think this verse is meant only for young children in the home. But that is not the meaning. “Little one” refers to those who are humiliated, looked down upon, and considered inferior by others. People may say, “He is just a small boy; what does he know?” or treat someone as insignificant.
If you are among those who have been treated that way, the Lord says, “I will multiply you a thousandfold.” Those who once humiliated you and considered you insignificant will see the Lord lift you up and honour you greatly.
We see a similar example in the life of Hannah. One day Hannah came into the presence of God and prayed, “Lord, look upon my humiliation. I do not even have one child, and people despise me and treat me with contempt.”
She cried out to the Lord asking for one child. But according to God’s grace, the Lord not only answered her prayer but blessed her with five children and honoured her life.
Today, if someone is humiliating you because you do not have a child, remember this promise: “A little one shall become a thousand.” Just as God blessed Hannah beyond her request, the Lord will also bless you abundantly and remove your shame.
The verse also says, “A small one a strong nation.” This means that God will not only multiply you but will establish your life strongly. A “strong nation” means your life, generation, and descendants will be firmly established and blessed.
The Lord will give such honour that your name will become great. Your family and future generations will be blessed and settled strongly in life.
Testimony
A person shared this testimony: “I wrote many exams for a government job and tried very hard, but every attempt ended in failure. I was very sorrowful and wondered whether I would ever get a job.
At that time, Brother came to deliver a sermon and pray at a meeting in Madurai. I also attended that meeting. The message he preached felt as though it was meant just for me. During the individual prayer, Brother said that the Lord had prepared a government job for me and that the order had already been sealed. He prophesied these words and prayed.
After that prayer, within a few days, I received the order for a government job. Though thousands had applied for the position, by the grace of God and through the prophetic prayer and blessings of Brother Stephen, I received the job. I share this testimony with joy to glorify the name of God.”
The Lord who performed this miracle will surely do a miracle for you as well.
Payer
Loving Lord, we thank You. Those who are considered inferior and humiliated by others—make them a thousand and a strong nation according to Your word.
Lift them up and honour them. Before the very people who looked down on them, make their name great and help them live with their heads held high.
Even today, look upon the children who are celebrating their birthday or wedding anniversary. May this word be fulfilled in their lives.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
