Faithful Man - Bro. T. Stephen

Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you all through this Auspicious Word on this first day of August. May God richly bless each one of you.

Let us first thank God for bringing us into this new month. During the past seven months, the Lord has protected us as the apple of His eye. For His unfailing love, faithfulness, and protection, let us give Him all the glory. As we enter this eighth month, the Lord Himself has held our hands and brought us safely into it. He will continue to lead us, protect us, and bless us throughout this month.

Let us read today’s Auspicious Word from Proverbs 28:20: “A faithful man will abound with blessings.” There is a difference between blessings and complete blessings. Complete blessings include spiritual blessings, earthly blessings, and physical blessings. When all these blessings come together, they become complete blessings. To whom does the Lord give these complete blessings? The Bible says that a faithful person will abound with blessings.

Therefore, on this first day of August, let us make a firm decision to live faithfully before God. Let there be truth and holiness in your thoughts. Let there be truth in your speech, truth in your actions, truth in your prayers, and truth in your worship. In everything we do, let us walk in truth and righteousness. When we live faithfully before the Lord, He will place His complete blessings upon our lives. A faithful person is a righteous person. The Bible also says that blessings rest upon the head of the righteous. In other words, blessings rest upon the head of the faithful.

Many of you have experienced this in the past. You work very hard, your income comes in, yet nothing remains. Money seems to disappear as though your wages were being put into a bag full of holes. As you step into this eighth month, many of you may be asking, “Will at least some money remain this month? Will unnecessary expenses stop? Will unexpected medical expenses come to an end? Will the burden of paying interest be removed? Will sudden financial losses finally cease?” The answer is yes. There is only one way. Commit yourself today to live before the Lord in truth and righteousness. Surely, the Lord will do great things in your life.

Now let us hear a wonderful testimony. Praise be to God! A sister shared this testimony: “I was married for ten years but had no children. Because of this, my family and I lived in deep sorrow. During that difficult season, I attended the APO fasting meeting and prayed along with Brother Stephen. I also received individual prayer from him. The Lord heard our prayers. After ten long years, I conceived, and by God’s grace I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl.”

Think about the humiliation she endured during those ten years. How many insults and mocking words she must have heard! How much sorrow filled her heart, and how much mental agony she must have experienced. Yet one day, she attended our monthly APO meeting. Just as Hannah poured out all her burdens before the Lord, this sister surrendered all her pain and anxiety to Him at the APO meeting. During the individual prayer, she received the Word the Lord had prepared for her. By the grace of God, the womb that had remained closed for ten years was opened, she conceived, and in due time she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. What a wonderful God we serve!

Prayer:

Loving Father, we thank You. Just as You blessed this dear daughter after ten years by opening her womb and granting her the precious gift of a child through the APO meeting, we pray for every one of Your children reading this message today. Many are weeping before You. Some are crying because they have not received the blessing of children. Some are waiting for a godly life partner. Some are searching for a good job, while others long to own a home and become settled in life. On this first day of August, help every one of Your children to commit themselves to living in truth and righteousness. May they receive the complete blessings You have promised to the faithful. From this very moment, let this Word be fulfilled in their lives. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray. Amen.
